The Martial Unity

BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOMMM!!!

BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOMMM!!!

BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOMMM!!!

BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOMMM!!!

BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOMMM!!!

The Gatekeeper unleashed a tsunami of powerful attacks, one after another, with extraordinary physical power. Because his Martial Mind was non-existent in combat, all of the power that he unleashed was of an order of magnitude above that of normal peak Martial Sages.

His raw physicality was exponentially more powerful than any Martial Artist in existence, compensating for his lack of efficiency.

RUMBLE!!!!!!!!!

The world shook.

It shook as though a dozen Martial Sages fought with all their power, as opposed to a single one. The sheer seismic radiation that the Gatekeeper unleashed was so far above any Martial Sage could unleash that the Esocline Federation needed to deploy cutting-edge seismic stabilizers to ensure that the tremors didn’t ravage their entire nation and reduce it to rubble.

And yet, not a single person within the nation minded.

They watched as a lone Martial Sage from the Kandrian Empire fended off the foreign entity with his extraordinary power, even as he burned his very life in the process of attaining a realm of power upon breakthrough to the Sage Realm that only two Martial Artists in history had ever accomplished.

RUMBLE!!!!!!!!

The foreign entity grimly defended against the onslaught of his extraordinary attacks as the ECCPS technology holding his bones and body together struggled to withstand the sheer power of the Gatekeeper.

BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOMMM!!!

BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOMMM!!!

BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOMMM!!!

Even as the Gatekeeper kept its arm trapped, he began ravaging the creature with countless attacks one after another, threatening to annihilate it with an endless onslaught of powerful attacks.

For the first time since the very battle began, he saw wounds emerge on the entity’s body.

And yet, they disappeared as quickly as they appeared as a biotechnological healing system kicked into place.

It functioned very similarly to Martial Sages was the varying degrees of healing factors, and yet it was not born out of Martial training but of an integrated biotechnology system.

One that had limits.

That was exactly what the Gatekeeper sought to reach by ravaging the entity’s body.

If its power came from the technology integrated into its very body and how well the entity harnessed it with its extraordinary mastery.

“Then, I will ravage the technologies that run within your body.”

The Gatekeeper’s voice was laced with an unyieldingly powerful tone.

Even as his body burned, he continued ravaging the entity with as much power as he possibly could, allowing him to slowly but surely wear down the entity that was forced to defend with one and only one arm.

The entity struggled violently, naturally.

VMMMMMM!!!!

It pushed its antimatter reactor to the very limit, supplying its thrusting power systems and the propulsion systems with as much power as possible.

It understood that if it allowed this punishment to continue, it wouldn’t last very long.

VMMMMMMMMM!!!!

The Gatekeeper’s eyes widened as he felt an even greater power emerge from within the entity’s body as it entered overdrive mode, pushing its body to its very limit as it exchanged greater power for degenerating the technological systems within its body.

It was the technological equivalent of a forbidden technique.

RUMBLE!!!!!!!!

The world shook as the entity began glowing a brilliant light.

Its entire body seemed to become heavier and more powerful than before as the antimatter reactor within its chest went absolutely wild, supplying its entire body with tremendous power that could very well destroy it.

BOOOM BOOOM BOOOM BOOOM BOOOM!!!!!

“Rgh…” the Gatekeeper grimaced as the single arm of the creature began attacking the Gatekeeper over and over with attack after attack. Simultaneously, the arm that he had trapped within the depths of his wound began struggling more furiously and powerfully than it had before, pushing him to the very limit of what he was able to do.

BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOMMM!!!!!

CRACK CRACK CRACK!

The bones in the Gatekeeper’s body cracked under the sheer force that the entity unleashed upon him.

His muscles tore while his burning flesh rended.

His entire body began degenerating.

And yet, his eyes flared with determination.

“I will destroy you even if the price is my own life.”

BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOMMM!!!

BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOMMM!!!

BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOMMM!!!

BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOMMM!!!

BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOMMM!!!

What followed was an intense brawl where the two warriors unleashed all their power with the sole focus of harming each other as much as possible. The Gatekeeper knew that he didn’t have much time left.

He also knew that the entity surely had limits to how well it could function with the damage that it had sustained.

What he knew about technology was very limited, but he knew that technological systems, particularly the more powerful and complex ones had a limited error margin and couldn’t operate when significantly damaged, unlike the Martial Body which had much greater endurance limits.

It all came down to who could last longer.

BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOMMM!!!

His fist crushed into the torso of his opponent’s body.

BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOMMM!!!

It crashed into its neck.

BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOMMM!!!

It crashed into its head.

BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOMMM!!!

It crashed into its ribs.

BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOMMM!!!

It crashed into its chest.

Attack after attack, the Gatekeeper unleashed an extraordinary flux of power that threatened to destroy its opponent’s body despite its overdrive protocols. The entity gritted its carnivorous teeth as it struggled to withstand the Gatekeeper’s immense onslaught, even as it tried its best to crush his remaining endurance.

Sir Armstrong’s eyes sharpened with ferocity even as his will refused to yield.

And yet, his body had reached its limit.

SPLAT!

His torso began crumbling from the consequences of the technique, unable to trap the entity’s arm in place.

The entity’s cybernetic pupils dilated as it seized the extraordinary opportunity.

Its hands shot forward.

They shot forward into flames that consumed the dying Gatekeeper.

They gently cupped his face.

A gesture that was considered an act of affection.

And yet, in the hands of the entity, it was nothing short at an act of bloodlust for the plasma canons in its hands erupted with unfathomable power, drowning the Gatekeeper’s burning head in an extraordinary plasma canons.

BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOMMM!!!

RUMBLE!!!!!

The world shook as heaven and earth rumbled under the weight of the attack.
