The Martial Unity

“Emergency attack! Unidentified, unauthorized vessel heading straight towards the northern border of the Esocline Federation!”

“Emergency protocol A16 activated!”

“Mobilize all long-range siege weapons!”

“Deploying MECHA Master Corps!”

“Activating fortifying protocols!”

The Esocline Federation spontaneously began reacting to the incoming threat from the vast unknowns of the True World as the administrative systems of the Esocline Federation immediately jumped into action independently of the Esoterist’s reactions.

The systems of the Esocline Federation were entirely autonomous.

Rapidly, the small yet dense technocratic nation began shifting as massive, long siege weapons with glowing grids of energy running across their body surged with power as they were mounted upon the massive fort walls of the Esocline federation.

These were proprietary cutting-edge siege weapons the likes of which were far more powerful than those of any other nation in the world, including that of the Kandrian Empire.

VMMM…!

The massive siege weapons began humming with power as they were rapidly prepared and mobilized into position, pointed in the direction from which the unidentified vessel was estimated to emerge.

Hundreds of apocalypse-class weapons were rapidly prepared to be on standby.

Simultaneously, the inner core of the small nation began fortifying rapidly.

VMMM!

A massive energy barrier erected from technology made from some of the most powerful Sage-level esoteric substances collected from the corpses of the beast tides over a span of seventeen years.

The energy shield technology systems, a form of technology that the Esocline Federation had developed in secret as its extraordinary scientists worked alongside the Esoterist to create a powerful technological defense to protect the nation.

Other aspects of the nation also moved as several more manual and material fortifications of the nation bolstered the security of the automated transport and delivery systems, and other key vital infrastructure, such as the energy and infrastructure grids that provided the foundation for the giant machine of a nation running like a well-oiled machine.

VRMMM!!!

The MECHA Master Corps was deployed from within the nation’s military wing as their MECHAs flew up, lifted by powerful thermal propulsion systems that unleashed an immense energy to propagate the technological Martial weapons that aligned themselves in a perfectly neat formation.

Within the MECHAs, the Martial Masters remained suspended within a super-elastic fluid within the engine core of the weapons. The upper half of their heads was covered with a helmet-like device with a glowing grid of energy running across the entire device.

This was the magnum opus of the combined efforts of the Esoterist and the Psycher, who collectively created a new form of interfacing technology that allowed any and everybody to interface with any machine, receive sensory input, and exert control over said technology.

It revolutionized MECHAs even more, getting rid of any and all gaps between Martial Artist and machines, allowing for an unfathomable degree of flow and control. Their movements were fluid, precise, and accurate, allowing the Martial Masters far greater mastery than they ever had before.

Each MECHA was unique, engineered by none other than the Esoterist himself, customized to their Martial Art and their Martial Paths.

VRMMM!!!

They flared their power, exhibiting Martial power that was well above what was considered the limits of the Master Realm of human civilization.

RUMBLE!!!

The world shook as their Martial Embodiments bloomed with tremendous intensity in all its technological glory. The Martial Embodiments of the MECHA Masters were pointedly different from the Martial Embodiments of other Martial Masters, integrating the visage of their MECHAs into what those who would perceive them would see.

Numerous other weapons systems aside from just the siege systems and the MECHA corps also found themselves active and on standby, such as counter-offensive projectile interception systems that were designed to target incoming attacks, causing them to disperse or explode before they reached the Kandrian Empire.

While the Esocline Federation as a nation prepared for the incoming unidentified vessel that flew towards the nation with tremendous velocities, the Esoterist had managed to the the Emperor of Harmony on an emergency call.

“…and latest emergency analysis has confirmed with increasing statistical confidence that they are making their way to the Esocline Federation.” The Esoterist’s expression was intense.

For once, he wasn’t able to maintain a light-hearted body language.

A piercing tension hung in the air.

The mood in the emergency meeting was dire.

He sat with his hands steepled, leaning on a metal conference table, seated opposite a projection of the Emperor of Harmony.

Emperor Rael’s powerful golden eyes sharpened as he read through all the intelligence that the Esoterist gave him.

“What’s the estimated timeline?”

His rich voice was severe.

“Less than an hour,” he replied with a tone of disbelief at the sheer speed at which the unidentified vessel was moving towards the Esocline Federation. “We don’t have too much time. Any vessel that can cover such astronomical distances in such less time is damning.”

His words were dire, but he couldn’t hide the hint of excitement that lingered in the depths of his eyes.

He was a technologist first and a leader second.

He couldn’t help but get profoundly moved at the sheer capacity that this unidentified vessel has displayed.

“What is the estimated size of the vessel?” Emperor Rael asked as his face grew more and more grave.

“Anywhere between twelve-point-seven meters to seventy meters wide,” the Esoterist replied with an impatient tone. “The closer the unidentified vessel gets, the more we’ll be able to learn from it.”

The Emperor of Harmony heaved a sigh as he placed his commpad on the table before him in his Royal Office, directing a deep gaze at the Esoterist, leaning forward as he steepled his fingers.

“The Kandrian Empire will offer you all the support you need.”

The Esoterist heaved a sigh of relief.

“I had already commenced the World Bridge activation the very moment I got the news from my Satellite Systems Department,” the Emperor of Harmony assured him. “We will be sending some of our finest. The Esocline Federation is a valued and important powerhouse within human civilization. We cannot allow it to fall.”

His golden eyes sharpened with seriousness.

“We do not know why this vessel has chosen to rapidly approach the Esocline Federation, but should the worst that we fear turn out to be the case, then… I bid you and the Esocline Federation good luck.”
