Fated to My Billionaire Husband

Chapter 2196: Chapter 2196: Is He Really About to Kick the Bucket?

He looked hurried, as if he were racing against time.

But they didn’t ask much, just followed him, planning to discuss their purpose once things settled down.

Ruan Tianling opened the car door, Hua Yuan quickly got in, urging them to get in quickly.

”Hurry up, don’t waste time!”

Jian Yufei and Ruan Tianling got into the car, and Ruan Tianling started the engine.

”Dr. Hua, do you have an urgent matter?” Ruan Tianling asked.

Hua Yuan looked back and said, ”Just drive fast! You must want me to treat someone, so if you need me, listen to me.”

Jian Yufei and Ruan Tianling: ”...”

Ruan Tianling wasn’t angry and still drove off quickly.

Hua Yuan kept looking back, appearing a bit nervous. Jian Yufei and Ruan Tianling frowned slightly; why did this old man seem increasingly strange?

”Ah—” Suddenly, Hua Yuan shouted, ”They’re catching up, drive faster, shake them off!”

Them?

Ruan Tianling and Jian Yufei turned back to look, momentarily stunned.

A large group of palace guards suddenly deployed to chase them.

There were also guards shouting through a loudspeaker, ”The car in front, stop, stop now!”

”Don’t stop, speed up, shake them off!” Hua Yuan yelled, ”If you want me to treat you, listen to me, or I’ll let you die!”

He even took the opportunity to threaten them...

Ruan Tianling was speechless, but at this moment, their only option was to flee.

”The car in front, stop! You are under arrest, do not resist, stop immediately!” The police cars behind followed relentlessly.

Under arrest?

Jian Yufei had a bad feeling: ”Dr. Hua, what is going on?”

Hua Yuan sat in the back, holding onto the front seat tightly, trembling as he said, ”I’m a good person, they want me to treat a bad guy, I refused, so they’re trying to arrest me.”

A king of a country, would he arrest him for something like that?

Jian Yufei didn’t have time to think, Ruan Tianling’s speed was too fast, she was tossed around.

Hua Yuan wasn’t faring much better, but don’t be fooled by his 90 years, he wasn’t scared at all.

Two police cars got close to them, but Ruan Tianling, with his driving skills, made them collide, shaking them off.

”Haha, great driving, kid! Keep going, don’t stop!” Hua Yuan shouted excitedly, urging Ruan Tianling to go even faster.

Is he really 90 and almost in the grave?

Fortunately, the roads in C Country are wide, and there weren’t many people, so they drove smoothly, though the police cars behind were driving just as smoothly.

”Go that way!” Hua Yuan pointed to a road, and Ruan Tianling followed his direction.

The terrain of C Country was most familiar to Hua Yuan.

Under his guidance and Ruan Tianling’s superb driving skills, they spent an hour finally shaking off the guards.

The car slowly stopped by an empty roadside.

Jian Yufei quickly opened the door, got out, and ran to the side of the road to vomit.

Ruan Tianling brought over a bottle of water, supporting her as she sat on a stone by the roadside to rest.

”How are you feeling? Still uncomfortable?” he asked with concern.

Jian Yufei’s legs were shaking and her head was still spinning.

Ruan Tianling unscrewed the cap and helped her drink some water to rinse her mouth, and Jian Yufei started to feel a bit better.
