Fated to My Billionaire Husband

Chapter 2182: Chapter 2182: The Most Important Person Is You

”I can’t leave just yet. Nangong Xu wants me to treat Ruyue’s illness. If I leave, it will only make him more suspicious. You all should go first. Once I have things arranged here, I will come to find you.”

”Moreover, Yufei’s condition isn’t too serious at the moment. As long as she keeps taking the medication I provided, it should be fine. I’ll hurry to find you all and then begin the new treatment plan.”

”Father-in-law, I remember you saying that to completely cure Yufei’s illness, you and mother-in-law need to have another child. Now that mother-in-law is pregnant and can’t have another child, what do you plan to do?”

This was the question Ruan Tianling most wanted to ask.

Jian Yufei was taken aback. In fact, she had thought about this question too.

But it was merely a thought, without any decision.

After all, the child in her mother’s womb is also her mother’s child. If she had to sacrifice that child to save her own life, she’s probably not capable of doing such a thing.

Not telling her mother about these matters was also to avoid putting her in a difficult position.

Besides, the child is Nangong Xu’s. Who would dare to get rid of it?

If the child were lost...

It’s estimated that Nangong Xu would go on a killing spree.

Xiao Zexin was also troubled by this issue.

”For now, I don’t have any plans. I can still control Yufei’s condition for a while. Besides, even if there are any ideas, they shouldn’t be considered now. We can only take it one step at a time.”

”How can you take it one step at a time!”

Ruan Tianling countered in a low voice, ”Yufei’s illness can’t be delayed anymore. We must hurry with the treatment. I know you’re concerned about the child in mother-in-law’s womb, but it’s just an unborn fetus. How can it compare to Yufei?!”

”Ruan Tianling...”

Ruan Tianling interrupted her, ”I’m stating a fact. In my opinion, the child in the womb needs to be removed quickly. If we wait until the fetus is fully formed, it will be even harder to make the decision. What we need to do now is to take mother-in-law away and help her escape from Nangong Xu.”

Xiao Zexin also had similar thoughts.

But whether Nangong Ruyue would be willing to go with them, he wasn’t sure.

He didn’t want to force her, nor did he want to see her in a difficult position.

”I think it’s best for you, father-in-law, to talk to mother-in-law and hear what she has to say. We can make further plans afterward.”

Xiao Zexin nodded, ”You’re right. I’ll find an opportunity to talk to her today.”

...

Jian Yufei and Ruan Tianling returned to the room.

She wanted to speak, but Ruan Tianling held her shoulders and spoke first.

”You don’t have to say anything or care about anything. Now you need to understand that you are the most important person, and your health is currently the most important matter.”

”I understand. It’s just that I’m afraid mother won’t bear to part with the child in her womb. Besides, the child is more than three months old now; if it were me, I wouldn’t bear to remove it either.”

Ruan Tianling pursed his lips, ”Even if you don’t want to, it has to be done. He is not as important as you.”

”This is too selfish...”

”So are you saying we should fulfill Nangong Xu’s wish and sacrifice you instead?”

Jian Yufei didn’t know what to say.

This matter, she truly didn’t know what to do.

Ruan Tianling understood the conflict in her heart.

He hugged her, gently stroking her head, ”Alright, stop thinking about these things. What we need to do now is take mother-in-law away, and discuss it once she’s out.”

”What about my grandfather?” Jian Yufei asked.

If her mother left with them, who would protect Nangong Wenxiang?

”Your grandfather can’t do anything right now. He’s no threat to Nangong Xu, so Nangong Xu probably won’t do anything to him.”

”...”

”Besides, if you want to take him away, he might not even be willing to leave.”
