Fated to My Billionaire Husband

Chapter 1540: Chapter 1540: Tie Him Up

She hung up the call, but instead of leaving in a hurry, she deleted the call history and put the cell phone back to Qi Ruigang.

No, she needed to keep the phone to stay in contact with Qi Ruisen at any time.

Mo Lan took out the phone again and set it to silent mode.

However, Qi Ruigang was holding her tightly, and she could only use one hand to exert force, as her body was already weak, she simply couldn’t pull away from him.

Mo Lan looked towards the IV drip bag on the shelf next to her...

The needle in the back of her hand had been torn off long ago and was currently hanging in the air.

Mo Lan reached for the tube and tore the IV drip bag from the shelf...

With her injured left hand holding the needle and her uninjured right hand grasping the IV bag.

After making full preparations, she fiercely stabbed the needle into Qi Ruigang’s hand, causing the man to wake up in pain.

At the same time, he also retracted his arms that were holding her.

”You...”

”Thump—”

Before Qi Ruigang could utter a word, Mo Lan violently smashed his head with the bottle.

Qi Ruigang’s head was both extremely painful and dizzy.

”You...”

”Thump—”

Another strike, and a cut opened up on his forehead, causing him to pass out.

Mo Lan pushed him away and quickly got out of bed.

Last time she had also knocked Qi Ruigang out like this, but he woke up very quickly.

And he had drunk so much alcohol laced with sleeping pills.

Therefore, it can be said that his willpower is quite astonishing.

All these years, she had never seen him drunk, today was the first time.

Hence, today was her best chance to escape, if she missed this village, she would miss the shop.

Mo Lan did not want to fail at the last moment, she found many of his ties and tied his hands and feet to the bedposts, then found some tape to seal his mouth.

Even if he woke up, he wouldn’t be able to chase after her.

As Mo Lan was feeling pleased with herself, Qi Ruigang indeed opened his eyes.

His cold and angry eyes were fixed upon her as his body struggled violently.

Mo Lan jumped in fright, thankful that she was quick to tie him up, otherwise, she would have been caught again.

Grabbing the IV bag, Mo Lan summoned her courage and hit him on the forehead again.

Qi Ruigang glared with wide, furious eyes, as if he wished he could tear her to pieces—

”Qi Ruigang, you devil, I never want to see you again!”

Mo Lan gritted her teeth and hit him hard once more, and then he fully passed out.

Not daring to waste time, Mo Lan held the cell phone and opened the door to leave.

Previously, to enjoy his drink in silence, Qi Ruigang had sent all the servants away, which now made it easier for Mo Lan to escape.

But it clearly wouldn’t work to just leave like that; there were his bodyguards outside.

Mo Lan sneaked into a servant’s room, stole a set of maid’s uniform to swiftly change into, and found a mask to wear.

She slipped her hand into her pocket, clutching the cell phone, and walked out with a troubled heart...

”Stop, who are you, and why are you wearing a mask?” the gatekeeping bodyguard asked her suspiciously.

Mo Lan coughed a few times and spoke in a hoarse voice: ”I’ve caught a bad cold, the young master told me to wear a mask to avoid infecting the young madam. The young madam is feeling unwell now, and the young master asked me to call the doctor.”

”To call the doctor, just make a phone call.”

”Cough cough... Actually, the young master also asked me to get treated. He is worried that I’ll infect everyone, which would increase the chances of infecting the young madam.”

The bodyguard believed her words: ”Go ahead.”

Mo Lan covered her face with a mask, coughing as she left.

These past couple of days, to protect Mo Lan from close quarters, Qi Ruisen had also moved back to the castle.
