Fated to My Billionaire Husband

Chapter 1516: Chapter 1516: I’m Not Sick!

Qi Ruigang was quite satisfied with the subtle changes in their facial expressions.

He curved his lips, and added with a smile, ”Moreover, if I die, the Qi Family is finished. Qi Ruisen, you haven’t forgotten the will our father announced, have you?”

Qi Ruisen: ”...”

Qi Ruigang glanced at his watch and said with a faint smile, ”My lawyer will be here in a moment. From today, I will take over everything concerning Mo Lan. If you want to see her, you must get my permission.”

”What did you say?!” Qi Ruisen frowned slightly.

Mo Lan also looked at him nervously...

Qi Ruigang said with a smug smile, ”I forgot to tell you, I once had Mo Lan undergo a thorough examination. She has schizophrenia and also suffers from compulsive delusional disorder. I will take her for comprehensive treatment, and no one else is allowed to approach her. Otherwise, I will call the police to deal with it!”

Schizophrenia... Compulsive Delusional Disorder...

”Liar!” Mo Lan, agitated, tried to sit up, ”When did you examine me? Liar, it’s fake, I’m not sick!”

”Lanlan, you’re mentally unstable right now, so you’ve forgotten. I really did take you for an examination; think about it more carefully,” Qi Ruigang pressed her, his tone seemingly sincere.

Mo Lan was somewhat confused. Had she really been examined?

Impossible, she had never been examined, not ever!

”You’re lying to me, the examination is fake! Qi Ruigang, I’m not sick!”

”Lanlan, whether you are sick or not is for the doctor to decide,” Qi Ruigang said with a serious expression, as if he was not lying.

”Where’s the report?!” Qi Ruisen stepped forward aggressively, extending his hand, ”Where is it?!”

”The report is here.” Suddenly, a man’s voice sounded from the doorway.

He had blond hair and blue eyes, and was in his thirties, a very famous lawyer in the industry.

Qi Ruisen looked over and recognized him...

”Lawyer Huaite, please show the report to him,” Qi Ruigang said with a light smile.

”Sure.” Lawyer Huaite stepped forward, took a document from his briefcase, and handed it to Qi Ruisen.

”This is the mental health evaluation report of Mr. Qi Ruigang’s wife, Miss Mo Lan. It clearly states that Miss Mo Lan has been suffering from mild schizophrenia for the past seven years. Over the years, Mr. Qi Ruigang has been trying to cure her. But Miss Mo Lan’s condition has worsened, and now she has developed severe delusional disorder. As the legal husband of Miss Mo Lan, Mr. Qi Ruigang has full authority over everything concerning her, including her social interactions, her life, and her personal freedom...”

”Bang—”

A glass cup smashed viciously near Lawyer Huaite’s feet.

Mo Lan had forced herself up; her face was pale as she stared at them.

”Nonsense! I’m not sick at all; the report is fake!”

”Lanlan, the report is real. Calm down, rest assured, even if you are sick, I will cure you,” Qi Ruigang said, approaching her gently.

As he drew near, Mo Lan felt as if she was facing a deluge of beasts.

”Ruisen!” She looked at Qi Ruisen in panic, ”I really am not sick, believe me, I’m not ill! Don’t let him take me away, don’t let him lock me up...”

Qi Ruigang said indifferently to Lawyer Huaite, ”As you can see, my wife is always fantasizing that her beloved is my younger brother. She imagines I’m an utterly irredeemable man, perpetrating domestic violence to tear them apart. Lawyer Huaite, I hope you can be my witness to prove that my wife indeed harbors inappropriate delusions about my younger brother.”
