Fated to My Billionaire Husband

Chapter 487: Chapter 487: Once I get tired of you, I will let you go_1

This devil, he wouldn’t let her go in this life or the next, what did she ever owe him!

Get out, I don’t want to see you!

Jian Yufei opened her mouth, but no sound came out.

She tried to speak again, but still could not utter a word.

Ruan Tianling noticed her oddity, the area between his brows slightly furrowed: “What’s wrong with your throat?”

Why aren’t you able to speak?

Jian Yufei tried to make a sound, but all that came out was a faint whimper, as weak as a breath.

“Can’t speak?” Ruan Tianling tensely propped up her body, his eyes intently staring at her mouth.

The more Jian Yufei was unable to speak, the more anxious she became, and the more anxious she was, the less she was able to speak.

Ruan Tianling was worried her vocal cords had been damaged.

He fetched a jacket to drape over her and lifted her in his arms to take her downstairs, he then drove her to the hospital.

Upon arriving at the hospital, the doctor conducted an examination and stated her vocal cords were unharmed and she should be able to speak. As to why she couldn’t, it was likely psychological and she may recover within a few days.

“What if she doesn’t recover?” Ruan Tianling retorted sternly, he was not going to accept an ambiguous answer.

He wanted a definitive answer, not a perhaps or maybe!

“She won’t. Her vocal cords are intact so she should be able to speak. We’ve seen this before, some patients who’ve experienced a shock, encountered a terrifying event or something they can’t accept, or even being overly excited, would suddenly lose their speech abilities. As soon as her emotions settle, her voice would naturally recover.”

Ruan Tianling nodded, recalling how Jian Yufei was emotionally stirred before falling unconscious.

Could it be that she had experienced a shock then, hence she temporarily lost her ability to speak?

Upon learning she was not in danger, Jian Yufei became very quiet. Ruan Tianling took her back to the villa, carried her to the bedroom and laid her on the bed.

Throughout the journey back from the hospital, she was expressionless, like a doll without a soul.

Ruan Tianling covered her with a blanket and softly asked her, “Are you hungry? Do you want to eat something?”

“…”

“You haven’t eaten since yesterday, come on, get up and eat.”

“…”

Jian Yufei did not respond to him, but he didn’t mind either. He helped sit her up, placing a soft pillow behind her back so she could rest against the headboard.

“I’ll have Auntie Li come in to take care of you, eat something and get some rest.”

“…”

Ruan Tianling forcefully held her chin, obligating her to make eye contact with him, “Look at me, say something.”

“…”

“How would your voice recover if you don’t attempt to speak?”

It wasn’t that she didn’t dare to speak, but rather, she didn’t want to converse with him.

Jian Yufei coldly gazed at him, her face remaining expressionless.

“Are you angry at me for forcefully keeping you by my side and not letting you leave?”

“…”

Ruan Tianling’s gaze was profound, his voice deep, “Releasing you right now is a bit impossible. However, you can attempt to submit to me, wait till I get fed up and then I’ll let you go. The more you resist me, the less likely I am to let go.”

The blazing glare of hatred sparked in Jian Yufei’s eyes, Ruan Tianling lightly smirked, “Loathe me, then live, wait for the day you’ve been waiting to send me to hell.”

“Remember what you’ve told me before? You called me a demon and stated that if there’s an opportunity to cast me into hell, you would never miss it! Do you remember your words?”

Of course, she remembered. She would never forget the events that transpired that day, not even in death.
