Fated to My Billionaire Husband

Chapter 482: Chapter 482: Entered Another Cage_1

“Hello everyone, let me introduce myself. I am the largest shareholder of the Luo Group, owning forty percent of the shares. My name is Xiao Lang. Starting from today, I will officially serve as the President of the group, and I look forward to having a pleasant relationship with you all.”

As soon as the handsome young man finished speaking, the conference room immediately erupted in enthusiastic applause.

Xiao Lang stood tall and straight in front of the conference table. Even though he was younger than everyone present, his aura effortlessly dominated the room.

Ruan Tianling drove Jian Yufei to a new villa.

The villa was not very big, but it was beautiful, designed in a European style, a standard cottage. There was a moderately sized front yard, and a high fence surrounding the villa. Once the iron gate closed, the place turned into an Arcadia.

Ruan Tianling parked the car, got out, moved to the back seat, opened the door for Jian Yufei, and took her suitcase.

He took her hand and led her towards the villa.

Jian Yufei was instinctively reluctant to go in. Ruan Tianling put down the suitcase, grabbed her hand, and pulled her forward, pressing the doorbell.

The housekeeper who was left in charge of housekeeping rushed to open the door when he saw him.

“Young Master, you are here?”

“Bring the suitcase in, and park the car.”

“Yes, Young Master.”

After Ruan Tianling gave the order, he pulled Jian Yufei towards the interior of the house. He did not use much strength, but Jian Yufei had no chance to resist him.

“Ruan Tianling, what are you bringing me here for?” Jian Yufei asked him nervously.

Ruan Tianling did not answer. He walked into the living room, pulling her closer, his hand around her waist. He said with a smile, “From now on, you will live here. Auntie Li will come later to take care of you. Your life will be the same as before, there will be no changes, I have just helped you change your place of residence.”

Jian Yufei’s face became pale with a start.

Did this mean he was going to continue to hold her captive, not allowing her to leave?

“You’ve already let me go, but now you’re going back on your word!” Jian Yufei shouted angrily at him, the rage of being deceived burning in her.

Ruan Tianling raised an eyebrow coolly, “I did let you go, but only from that villa, not from my side.”

Jian Yufei glared at him hatefully, a fire burning in her chest tormenting her, making her feel extremely uncomfortable.

How could he do this to her…

It was ridiculous that she thought she was free, only to realize she had merely been moved from one cage to another.

Jian Yufei couldn’t describe whatever was happening in her heart, she just felt a strong urge to kill.

“Feeling wronged?” Ruan Tianling lifted her chin, gave her a smile devoid of warmth.

“You don’t have to feel wronged. I said I won’t let you go, and I definitely won’t. But you know what, your behavior today has angered me, so I’m going to confine you for ten days, so that you can’t leave the house for ten days!”

The damn woman had actually tried to leave with her suitcase in presence of his mother earlier today.

She had no idea how furious he had been at that moment, itching to strangle her.

How could she think about leaving without his permission? Was staying by his side such a torturous experience for her?

If she didn’t want to stay with him, then why did she insist on marrying him in the first place?

Before their marriage, he had given her the chance to stay away from him, but she didn’t take it. Since she chose him, her life is no longer her own to control!
