From the Metropolis to the Strongest in the Cosmos

A small beast appeared, its body densely covered in red mystic runes. As a whole, it looked like a cluster of countless burning flames. It seemed incredibly weak, yet it appeared to have some kind of connection with the world, as if it had completely integrated with it, giving off a sense of perfection.

The Fire Nether Divine Beast, a natural-born deity with an eternal lifespan, could be called an exceedingly perfect lifeform.

’My fifth avatar!’

Inside the Human Race’s Eternal Saint Hall, a wide smile spread across Li Yang’s face.

Including the World Tree avatar, he now had five avatars in total!

’Time to increase its strength!’

As soon as the Fire Nether Divine Beast avatar was created, its small body instantly transformed into a vortex, and torrents of Spiritual Power began to pour madly into it.

At this point, the Laws comprehended by Li Yang and his other avatars were enough to easily break through to the Longevity Realm. Because of this, the Fire Nether Divine Beast avatar effectively comprehended these same Laws instantly.

Therefore, the Fire Nether Divine Beast could naturally ascend to the Longevity Realm with ease!

Of course, this breakthrough wasn’t fueled by its innate proficiency in the Fire Element Law, but rather by the Space Law and the Thunder Law.

Once it ascended, Li Yang would be able to comprehend the Fire Element Law with ease, and it would become his fastest-progressing Law!

BOOM! BOOM!

Torrents of energy surged madly as the Fire Nether Divine Beast avatar’s strength increased explosively. In just a short time, it broke through directly to the Spirit Awakening Realm, also known as King Level!

A few minutes later, it reached the Peak of King Level!

Then, fluctuations of the Space Law began to ripple from the Fire Nether Divine Beast avatar.

HUMMM...

Wisps of energy from the world appeared, continuously pouring into the Fire Nether Divine Beast avatar’s body.

It had officially broken through to the Law Realm!

After the breakthrough, three vials of energy potions appeared directly before it!

Now that it had reached the Law Realm, it was clear that the Fire Nether Divine Beast would need some time to reach the Peak of Law Realm.

Li Yang had no intention of wasting that time.

After all, in Li Yang’s eyes, the energy potions needed to advance from the Early Law Realm to the Peak of Law Realm were trivial. He could have afforded them right after leaving Earth.

Using the time saved to comprehend Laws offered a much greater return on his investment.

After it consumed the three vials of energy potions, the Fire Nether Divine Beast’s strength skyrocketed again, and it soon reached the Peak of Law Realm!

BOOM!

Endless fluctuations from the source of space flashed through the world, and then torrents of energy were absorbed into the Fire Nether Divine Beast avatar’s body.

Its body once again underwent a metamorphosis!

The Longevity Realm!

The metamorphosis ended, and the endless fluctuations from the source of space dissipated. Li Yang’s Fire Nether Divine Beast avatar had now completely broken through to the Longevity Realm!

From its creation to reaching the Longevity Realm, the entire process took less than half an hour.

The small Fire Nether Divine Beast was gone. In its place, deep beneath the sea, stood a colossal creature hundreds of meters tall.

It was humanoid in shape, its body densely covered in red mystic runes that seemed to be burning. At first glance, it looked like a being made entirely of flame.

And from within the flames, a single vertical eye peered out.

’The Space Law breakthrough was a success. Now for the Thunder Law!’

The Fire Nether Divine Beast didn’t stop there. It continued its breakthrough with the Thunder Law, ascending to the Law Realm and then to the Longevity Realm.

Finally, everything came to a halt.

’It’s finally fully formed!’

A smile touched Li Yang’s lips. His fifth avatar had completely matured!

’Let’s see how effective my Fire Nether Divine Beast avatar is at comprehending Laws.’

Li Yang had long been filled with anticipation for this avatar, one that was on the level of a natural-born deity.

A red sphere of light appeared, floating before the Fire Nether Divine Beast.

Within the red sphere of light, streams of flame radiated an ultimate heat, coalescing into a colossal fire dragon. Wherever the dragon passed, it melted entire planets into nothingness.

The Fire Element Law has four profound skills: Fire Domain, Fire Armor Body, Unceasing Flame, and Melting Essence. This was the Melting Essence Profound Skill!

The Melting Essence Profound Skill was exceptionally destructive, possessing an ultimate heat. A powerful Controller of this skill could melt anything! Even a person’s soul could be melted into nothingness!

As a natural-born deity, the Fire Nether Divine Beast had an innate grasp of the four profound skills of the Fire Element Law. However, there was a sequence to comprehending them, and Li Yang chose to start directly with the Melting Essence Profound Skill.

First, comprehend one skill and master it completely before moving on to the others. This was the cultivation path chosen by many powerhouses throughout the Cosmos.

For instance, to break through to the World Realm, one had to master a profound skill. Even if someone comprehended all four profound skills to their final step, they still couldn’t break through to the World Realm without mastering at least one.

Without becoming one of the Deities, one’s lifespan was limited, making it impossible to comprehend Laws indefinitely.

The most logical path, therefore, was to first master one profound skill, reach the World Realm, gain a million-year lifespan, and only then begin comprehending the other three profound skills.

The Fire Nether Divine Beast’s consciousness sank into the sphere of light, carefully observing the flames and the fire dragon within.

”Dance of the Fire Dragon!”

This was the Cultivation Technique Li Yang had chosen, a technique on par with the Hexagram Spear and Illusion Body Skill he practiced!

Since the Fire Nether Divine Beast was the avatar dedicated to comprehending the Fire Element Law, it naturally needed a Cultivation Technique to practice. Cultivation Techniques and Laws were, after all, complementary.

Although this Cultivation Technique was powerful, it was primarily supportive in nature.

The Hexagram Spear could accommodate a total of six Laws, and there was no hierarchy among them.

Now, the Fire Element Law that Li Yang was comprehending could still be integrated into the Hexagram Spear as the third Law!

Li Yang had no intention of replacing such a powerful offensive technique.

As its consciousness entered the sphere of light, Li Yang could feel his comprehension of the Fire Element Law rapidly increasing!

’This speed...’ Li Yang felt the progress, his face filled with pleasant surprise.

’I feel like this is even faster than the Sky-Fierce Flood Dragon comprehending the Space Law—almost twice as fast!’

Li Yang’s Thunder Star Beast avatar, Sky-Fierce Flood Dragon avatar, and now his Fire Nether Divine Beast avatar had each been assigned to comprehend a specific profound skill. The Thunder Star Beast chose the Burst Profound Skill of the Thunder Law, the Sky-Fierce Flood Dragon chose the Teleportation Profound Skill of the Space Law, and the Fire Nether Divine Beast chose the Melting Essence Profound Skill of the Fire Element Law.

The Fire Nether Divine Beast’s progress with the Fire Element Law was leaving the Thunder Star Beast and the Sky-Fierce Flood Dragon completely in the dust.

Li Yang had expected his progress in the Fire Element Law to be fast, but he never imagined it would be *this* fast!

’Truly worthy of a natural-born deity!’

Joy filled Li Yang’s heart. Of course, he hoped his speed of comprehending Laws would be as fast as possible.

...

After creating the Fire Nether Divine Beast, Li Yang’s strength began to improve even more rapidly.

In the blink of an eye, another month passed since Li Yang had created his Fire Nether Divine Beast avatar.

’Time to test my strength.’

During his cultivation, Li Yang often went to the Path of the Deities to test his strength.

SWISH! SWISH! SWISH!

In the trial space of the Path of the Deities’ second step, Li Yang was locked in a frantic battle with the demonic beasts inside.

”Hexagram Spear!”

Waves of Law fluctuations radiated from the long spear in his hand—the Space Law, the Thunder Law, and even the Fire Element Law!

Although only a month had passed, Li Yang’s comprehension of the Fire Element Law had clearly improved by a great deal!
