Immortality begins with Becoming an Alchemy Grandmaster

Chapter 724: Chapter 298 Rewards and Punishments, Luo Tian Nine Halls, growing wildly until it reaches the sky!_2

There’s more!

The Plunder Feathered Hawks!

After bringing their nests from Tianying Peak just less than a month ago, several chicks have died due to inadequate care.

These are huge losses!

And there are several such instances.

From the cultivation of Jade Silkworms to the feeding of Green Scale Dragon Fish… there are problems in all aspects.

After hearing about these issues, Luo Chen’s head was spinning.

He said somewhat sheepishly, “I was negligent. I only focused on bringing good things home and overlooked the follow-up.”

He thought that he had handled everything well before.

But to his surprise, Sima Huiniang, who had only taken over for a few days, had already identified a host of problems.

To this, Sima Huiniang just smiled softly.

“Chairman, you don’t need to blame yourself. Your outstanding talents could not be spent on these trivial details.”

“It’s my duty to find and fill in these gaps.”

What a flattery!

Luo Chen was very pleased.

He asked with a smile, “What are you planning to do? Hire people?”

“It’s not as simple as just hiring people.”

Sima Huiniang declared seriously, “The Luo Tian Creed, needs to change!”

Luo Chen nodded in agreement.

He had long felt that the current Luo Tian Creed was somewhat deformed.

But he hadn’t figured out how to bring about change, he had just proposed the legacy system.

“After my investigation, the mature and proven Sect System undoubtedly suits us in the Luo Tian Creed.”

“If the Luo Tian Creed is likened to a major tree!”

“The legacy system you proposed is like the roots that extend the life of Luo Tian Creed.”

“Above the roots, the trunk is us, the Foundation Establishment True Cultivators!”

“Apart from this, the many branches must be pruned to allow them to absorb nutrients fully.”

This analogy.

Very vivid!

Luo Chen nodded agreeingly, waiting for her to continue.

Under his gaze, Sima Huiniang explained methodically.

“The original Seven Halls of Luo Tian are no longer apt.”

“I suggest that in addition to the existing seven halls of elixir, golden medal, law enforcement, and external sect, we should establish three more halls.”

“The Agronomy Hall, Beast Hall, and Cultivation Technique Hall.”

“For the establishment of the Agronomy Hall, I believe we can start with the backbone cultivators of the Medicine Hall, Yuan Dongsheng being an experienced Spirit Plant Cultivator, he could serve as the head of the Agronomy Hall.”

“The Beast Hall would mainly accommodate for the sudden increase in Spirit Beast cultivation in Luo Tian Creed. We absolutely cannot neglect this aspect.”

“In the future, we might have to pay high salaries to hire experienced Beast Tamers from Tian Lan Immortal City.”

“The Cultivation Technique Hall would serve your legacy system.”

Speaking of this, Sima Huiniang paused for a moment, a glint flashing in her eyes.

“After several battles, the Luo Tian Creed has collected many Cultivation Techniques.”

“The current Book Collection Pavilion cannot utilize all these Cultivation Technique Books.”

“Just like after my Foundation Establishment, I had to go through many Second Order Cultivation Methods before I chose ‘Water Tower’. If there was someone managing this, I could save a lot of trouble.”

This long speech made one’s head ache.

But Luo Chen had a deep understanding of the current situation of the Luo Tian Creed.

Considering these situations, he felt that the arrangements made by Sima Huiniang were the most reasonable.

For example, splitting the Medicine Hall to establish a dedicated Agronomy Hall.

This was necessary.

The responsibilities of the Medicine Hall have been ambiguous all along.

Initially, it was established to serve the Pill Hall, but after several changes of location, the Pill Hall still primarily purchases its medicinal materials from outside.

The Medicine Hall itself focuses on planting Spirit Plants and operating Spirit Fields.

Therein, the Battle Hall Cultivators help during their leisure time.

If a new Agronomy Hall is divided, many issues can be resolved efficiently.

However, this would mean.

The current Luo Tian Creed, with its three hundred members large and small, would seem too few.

“So, you want to recruit more people?” Luo Chen asked.

Sima Huiniang nodded vigorously, “Yes, we have to recruit, and we need to lower the entry barriers. Rogue Cultivators in the early and middle stages of Qi Refinement should be considered. As for high-level cultivators, they must have a specialized skill that can be put to immediate use.”

“My goal is that, except for the Cultivation Technique and Law Enforcement Halls, each hall should have at least a hundred members!”

Upon saying this, a frown suddenly crossed her brow.

She looked at Luo Chen, a hint of hesitation on her face.

Luo Chen caught that hesitation.

“What’s the matter?”

Sima Huiniang thought for a moment, then gritted her teeth and said, “In fact, I feel the Battle Hall is a waste of manpower when there is no fighting, they have all been sent to farm land.”

“And the Law Enforcement Hall, doesn’t have many opportunities to act currently.”

“What they could do, might also be done by the Battle Hall.”

“Their duties overlap to some extent.”

Luo Chen’s eyebrows raised slightly, “You want to merge them?”

Sima Huiniang couldn’t meet Luo Chen’s eyes directly, she just nodded to express her opinion.

Looking at her in this state, Luo Chen suddenly understood where her hesitation came from.

The Battle Hall is headed by Sima Xian, her own elder brother.

The Law Enforcement Hall is headed by Zhou Yuanli, Luo Chen’s initial protector, and also Luo Chen’s confidant.

Even more so, the majority of the members of the Law Enforcement Hall were chosen by Zhou Yuanli from the Qi Refinement Stage Cultivators who used to protect Luo Chen.

Even if the Law Enforcement Hall usually keeps a low profile and does not attract attention.

But no one from any hall within Luo Tian Creed would dare to offend them willingly.

It’s a blade in Luo Chen’s hand.

A blade to maintain internal order!

Now, Sima Huiniang’s proposal to merge is indeed somewhat bold.

For a moment, the atmosphere became subtly tense.

But this situation didn’t last long.

With Luo Chen’s light laughter, it broke the subtle atmosphere.

“The Law Enforcement Hall was originally informal, just a temporary place for Zhou Yuanli after I started the Foundation Establishment.”

“Merger, it’s only a matter of course!”

“As for how to arrange Zhou Yuanli… ”

“Rest assured and act boldly, I will fully support you!”

After hearing these words, Sima Huiniang involuntarily breathed a sigh of relief.

Her mind started to work quickly, and she soon had a basic idea.

“I intend to merge the Law Enforcement Hall into the Battle Hall, but the law enforcement team won’t be disbanded.”

“You mean to say, both would exist concurrently?” Luo Chen asked curiously.

Sima Huiniang nodded seriously, “Not only would they exist concurrently, I also plan to form a team of cultivators in charge of intelligence gathering within the Battle Hall.”

With this said, her face looked grave.

“Chairman!”

“Looking back at the troubles Luo Tian Creed faced this time, there have been signs from the start.”

“But we lacked professionals to gather and analyze these pieces of information.”

“In the end, it caused many rogue cultivators to covet Luo Tian Creed.”

She said this.

Luo Chen also suddenly realized the importance of intelligence.

If it hadn’t been for Li Jinhuang’s reminder and Xing Zonghan’s warning, he might have really taken Wang Yuan and other Foundation Establishment True Cultivators to keep order at Qin Flower River.

In this case, Luo Tian Creed would have been heavily exposed.

Information…

“The new Battle Hall would still focus on fighting, and pick loyal figures to form Law Enforcement and Intelligence teams.”

“That’s my initial plan, what do you think, Chairman?”

Without hesitation.

Luo Chen exclaimed: “It’s a very good idea, I think it’s feasible.”

Having received Luo Chen’s confirmation, Sima Huiniang’s face eased.

“Now it’s not ten halls, but nine.”

The Hall…

After hearing “Hall!” “Hall!” “Hall!” for half a day, Luo Chen was about to get calluses.

He repeated the word a few times.

In Sima Huiniang’s puzzled look, he suddenly spoke.

“Since everything needs to be changed, let’s change the ‘Hall’ too!”

“Such a title is too secular, much like a gang.”

Sima Huiniang was speechless.

The several halls of Luo Tian Creed were actually inherited from the system of the Broken Mountain Gang.

If you say that Broken Mountain Gang is secular, there is really no refutation.

After all, it was initially a rogue cultivator gang.

Now that Luo Tian Creed wants to develop towards a Sect, such a title, although not too offensive, does sound inappropriate.

“Let’s call it ‘Hall’!” said Luo Chen.

“Hall?”

Sima Huiniang silently repeated the new names of the halls.

“Luo Tian Nine Halls?”

Luo Chen grinned slightly, “Isn’t it nice? When we named Luo Tian Creed, the implication was the highest and broadest Da Luo Jiu Tian.”

With this said, there was no issue.

At such minor details, Sima Huiniang naturally wouldn’t haggle, as long as the chairman was happy.

Just as the discussion was about to end.

Luo Chen suddenly said: “Didn’t you say earlier that too many branches need to be pruned? How come that after a set of plans, we have two more departments.”

Sima Huiniang smiled lightly.

“Pruning branches, that should be done when this big tree is lush with foliage. Right now, Luo Tian Creed is still a small tree, it doesn’t need pruning, but rugged growth, until it reaches the sky!”

Rugged growth, straight to the sky!

Luo Chen’s eyes lit up, and he exclaimed again in admiration.

“Good!”
