First Intergalactic Emperor: Starting With The Ancient Goddess

Lucas didn’t wait.

He punched Xavier right in the face.

The sound was weak. Like slapping a rock. Xavier’s health bar didn’t even flicker. He stumbled back for dramatic effect, even let out a fake cough, holding his cheek as if he was dying. ”Ow... th-that hurt...”

It didn’t.

He didn’t feel a thing under the mythic gear. Not even a tickle.

Lucas pointed at him, breathing hard. ”He’s exploiting the system! Report him! Everyone! Report him now!”

The guild members hesitated, then one by one started clicking the Report button. Xavier’s screen lit up with a string of red notifications.

[You have been reported for suspected cheating by Crimson Vow Guild Members.]

But then—everything flipped.

Other players began shouting.

”Are you fucking serious right now?”

”This guy earned his way fair and square!”

”Just admit you’re salty!”

”Crimson Vow is a joke lol.”

”Lucas out here crying after getting clapped lmao.”

One guy even walked up to Lucas and said, ”Hey bro, you need some milk?”

Lucas looked like he was about to combust.

Xavier raised his hand and motioned for silence.

”Everyone,” he said, soft and fake-polite, ”Please... don’t fight. Let’s not turn this beautiful moment into hate. I didn’t cheat. I just... worked hard.”

Oliver looked away and snorted.

Xavier continued, eyes shimmering with faked innocence. ”I was once just a simple village boy. I didn’t know anything about games... or life. But then, Lucas and Ethan taught me—through pain, mockery, and bullying—that if I wanted to survive, I had to change. And I did.”

He sniffed, even wiped an imaginary tear. ”I didn’t want to. I never wanted to. But they forced me.”

Gasps. Murmurs. Sympathy.

Lucas yelled, ”You manipulative little—!”

”Please don’t,” Xavier whispered, turning his back with the perfect tragic-hero move. ”Let’s all move on.”

The crowd exploded with support.

”WE LOVE YOU, XAVIER!”

”XAVIER NATION RISE!!”

”Lucas, sit down before you embarrass yourself again.”

”Give this man a statue already.”

”New server king. It’s done.”

Lucas stood frozen, fists trembling. He opened his mouth to scream—but then the system beeped again.

[Global Notification: You have been muted for 5 minutes due to excessive abuse.]

Even the system was tired of his whining.

Xavier turned to Oliver, eyes glowing with joy.

”Now that was satisfying,” he whispered.

And damn, it was.

And Xavier wasn’t done yet.

His act had just begun!

Xavier took a shaky breath, staring at the crowd that had formed. Hundreds of thousands of players surrounded him, their eyes filled with concern, curiosity, and a rising heat of anger. All directed at Lucas and Ethan.

But Xavier wasn’t done.

He stepped forward, just enough for all the eyes to stay on him, and said in a soft, broken voice, ”Everyone... I appreciate your support. Really, I do. But... this is a personal matter.”

He paused, gaze lowering.

”Please... don’t involve yourselves. What happened between me and Lucas... Ethan... it’s from the real world. From my academy.”

Gasps. A few murmurs rippled through the crowd.

Xavier didn’t move from his spot.

He just stood there in front of the stunned crowd, his head lowered, his voice soft—fragile even.

”I never asked for this attention,” he murmured, barely above a whisper. ”I just wanted to play. Just... enjoy the game like everyone else.”

The crowd leaned in, silent. His words wrapped around them like a fog, cold and heavy.

”I didn’t join a guild. I didn’t ask to be carried. I didn’t bribe anyone for gear. I pulled gacha. I used what I got. I fought. That’s all I did. But now...” he let his words trail, then gave a slow glance toward Lucas.

”He says I’m cheating. That I deserve to be banned.”

Xavier took a deep breath. Shaky. Painful. It was pure Oscar-worthy. The pause. The pace. The fake tremble in his lip.

”I didn’t cheat. I didn’t even use my full skills until the last stage. I... I didn’t want to outshine anyone. I was scared to. Because I knew what would happen...”

He looked directly into the crowd now.

”They’ll find me again. Like always.”

Murmurs. Disbelief. Sorrow. Disgust.

”Who?” someone asked.

Xavier tilted his head. ”Lucas. Ethan.”

The name drop was a nuke. The crowd turned like a tide.

Xavier kept going.

”Some of you might’ve seen that video. From the academy. The one where I was getting kicked. Punched. On the ground like a stray dog...”

His voice cracked. ”That was them. I never wanted it to go viral. I never wanted anyone to know. But now everyone does.”

Oliver stood at the edge of the crowd, arms crossed, head tilted.

’Holy fuck, is this guy serious right now? I know this man. I’ve seen this man commit emotional murder with a straight face. And now he’s up here doing a monologue like he’s the last hope of mankind.’

Xavier wasn’t done.

”I joined this game because I thought... maybe I can breathe here. Maybe I can have fun. Escape for a bit. But I didn’t know they played too.”

He gave a soft laugh. Not happy. Just hollow.

”And now that I’ve done something right... they’re back. Still calling me names. Still trying to break me. Reporting me. Calling me a cheater.”

He dropped his gaze again.

”But... it’s fine.”

A pause.

”If I get banned... I’ll move on. I’ll find another game. And if they find me there too... I’ll keep running. Maybe someday, somewhere, I’ll find a place where they won’t follow.”

It was so calm, so composed—but heartbreaking on the surface. The crowd bought it.

Hard.

Oliver was now watching players clench their fists, shake their heads, mumble curses under their breath.

’Goddamn. He’s playing these people like a flute. I should be taking notes.’

His voice grew quiet. ”Because that’s what victims do. We run. We run until the world lets us breathe.”

A quiet sniff. ”I don’t want revenge. I don’t want anyone to attack Lucas or Ethan. Please. I’m begging you. Don’t hurt them.”

Silence. And then—

”That’s the saddest shit I’ve heard,” someone muttered.

”Bro, I wanna hug this guy.”

”Lucas is a fucking demon, man.”

”They bullied him IRL and now trying to ruin his in-game life too???”

”Ethan too quiet. That guy’s shady.”

The players around Lucas were backing away now. Some even pulled their weapons. Not to attack—just to let him know that he was not welcome anymore.

Lucas tried to speak, but his mute status hadn’t ended. His mouth moved, but nothing came out. The rage in his eyes was loud enough, though.

Ethan clenched his jaw, standing still, unreadable as always. But the way he looked at Xavier now—like he was seeing a ghost, or worse, a demon—spoke volumes. He knew what was happening. He saw through it. But there was nothing he could say. Anything now would sound like damage control.

Xavier turned back to the crowd and gave a sad smile. ”Thank you all. For being here. For listening. I’m sorry if I ruined the celebration.”

No one cheered.

No one clapped.

But in their silence, every single one of them sided with Xavier.

And deep down, he was laughing his ass off.

’Okay, now that the iron is hot. It’s time to strike it. Time to destroy them!’

With that, Xavier began his final act.
