First Intergalactic Emperor: Starting With The Ancient Goddess

[Open the system menu to see the updated details, penalties, and conditions,] the goddess instructed.

[System level 1

Balance- 10,000/10,000 || Next Limit- 100,000

Quests- No quests detected.

Credit Score- Locked. || Dimensional Store- Unavailable.]

”This is new...” Xavier muttered.

[You will get a 0.5% cashback as credits. You can use the credit points to buy items from the dimensional store. Additionally, you can also skip tasks and quests using the credit points depending on the type of the quest.]

[Conditions- You can do one transaction a day, and after each and every transaction, the balance will reset. The transaction can vary from $1 to the maximum amount allowed by the system. So make a transaction of a higher amount if possible for max benefits.

You can only complete one task or quest a day. A quest can have multiple tasks, and each task will grant 1 point. You will need 10 points to upgrade the system. Repetition of the tasks/quests is not allowed.

You cannot withdraw the amount for cash to cheat the system. You cannot transfer the money to someone and ask for a reverse/return transaction to use the money.

You must buy anything in full. Monthly installments or lease is not allowed. In short, no repeated transaction for the same thing. Basic services like food, groceries, subscriptions, and fares are excluded from these conditions as they are similar but not the same.]

Xavier read through the conditions, his brow furrowing in thought. ”Why is there a limit of one transaction and task a day?” he asked.

[It is set according to your body’s capacity. Anything more will block the progress. The more money you use and the more unique tasks you complete, the better for your body. Your blood has to gain as much data as possible, and once your body gets used to it by completing transactions and tasks, the daily transaction limit might increase,] the goddess explained.

Xavier nodded slowly, ’I kind of understand the latter two conditions about cheating the system. It makes sense that I can’t just withdraw cash or transfer money back and forth to cheat the system.’

[Penalties- You must complete one transaction a day or the system progress will reset and your balance limit will reset to 10,000.

You must at least complete one task/quest a day or the system progress will reset and your balance limit will reset to 10,000.

You must talk with Astrea for at least 10 minutes daily or she will get angry and start sulking.]

Xavier’s eyes widened as he read the penalties. ”Why would the system reset if I skip a day?” he asked, his voice tinged with concern.

[Your body has to get used to daily transactions and tasks. If you skip a day, all the progress will reset because your body will delete all the data,] the goddess explained.

Xavier took a deep breath, trying to absorb all the information. ’I need to be consistent and strategic with how I use this power.’

[Remember, Xavier, this system is a part of you. Use it wisely, and it will serve you well,] the goddess added, her voice gentle yet firm.

Xavier nodded, determination in his eyes. ”I will. I won’t let this opportunity go to waste.”

[The quests will trigger automatically, but you can also manually trigger some quests. I will teach you how to trigger quests. What do you currently want to do?] the goddess asked.

Xavier thought for a moment before responding, ”I want to spend $10,000 today.”

Immediately, a quest notification appeared:

[Quest Triggered: Spend $10,000 before midnight.]

[Task: Spend $10,000 before midnight.]

Xavier checked the time; it was nearly 9 PM. He only had 3 hours to complete the task.

[Whenever you speak something with ’want’ or ’need’ in a sentence, the quest will manually trigger,] the goddess explained.

Xavier felt a mix of excitement and pressure. ’I have $10,000 to spend, but where? It’s too much to buy little things and too little to buy something big.’

He considered using the money to pay the month’s rent, but then muttered, ”I have one week for that, so there’s no need to worry.”

Xavier walked along the bustling streets, the neon lights and holographic billboards casting a kaleidoscope of colors around him. He pulled out the manual he had gotten with the phone and spent the next 10 minutes reading it, familiarizing himself with every function and feature.

Eager to test the camera, he opened the app and snapped a picture of the vibrant streetscape, capturing the neon lights, towering buildings, and bustling crowds. Satisfied with the photo, he opened the navigation application and searched for nearby attractions where he could spend the money.

He first thought of buying groceries worth a few thousand dollars, but quickly realized the apartment had no storage or refrigerator, making it impractical. With limited time, he decided to head to a local market.

The market was a bustling hub of activity, filled with stalls selling everything from clothing to electronics. Xavier browsed through the aisles, picking out a few pairs of clothes, some shoes, and a pair of high-quality earphones.

”That will be $8,255. Would you like a paper bag with it? It’s $20 each.

”Sure.” Xavier nodded as he thought, ’I just have to spend as much money as possible.’

The total bill with the paper bags came to $8,355. Seeing the tip option, Xavier decided to round up the payment to $10,000, and told the cashier to keep the change.

”You can have the rest.”

The cashier was overjoyed to hear that and she jumped and thanked Xavier for the tip.

”Really, thank you! That’s more than a week’s worth of my salary!”

After living a few days in the city and experiencing hell, Xavier had realized how money was the most important thing in the world and how it could change everything.

As he completed the transaction, a series of system notifications appeared:

[Transaction of $10,000 completed.]

[Daily transaction complete: 1/1.]

[Quest Completed: Spend $10,000 before midnight.]

[Reward: Credit score unlocked. You have received 0.5% cashback on the amount spent.]

[Cashback Amount: $50.]

’Nice!’

Xavier made his way back to the nexus tower and after putting his things in his apartment, he went to the restaurant on the 10th floor to eat.
