Hentai Dragon King

I thought Lucia would be interested in the modern Japanese cityscape, but that wasn’t particularly the case. Well, when I showed her internet videos she was surprised by the appearance of the capybaras, but she wasn’t surprised by the videos themselves. She didn’t react like a time-slipped samurai going ”There are living creatures inside a box!” so maybe she’s not very interested in science and technology.

Even when we boarded the train she showed no particular surprise.

Fortunately the commuting rush hour had passed, so the car was empty except for us. We sat together in a four-person box seat.

”Are we there yet?”

”Unfortunately we haven’t even been traveling for 30 minutes. It takes three hours to reach Capybara Land.”

”Eh?!”

Lucia opened her eyes wider than I’d ever seen. It was more surprising than when she first saw the computer.

”I can’t wait...”

The way she kicked her legs back and forth made her look even more childlike than her appearance. Because she was sitting in the seat her feet didn’t reach the floor. Coming from the other world where people are generally smaller, her small stature stands out even more here in modern Japan.

”You spend hours sunbathing every day, and you don’t like being bored?”

”That’s that, this is this.”

”I guess so.”

Well, when she’s with the kemolori group she relaxes and gets into a fluffy mood, so the flow of time probably feels different.

”Even if we want to get there quickly, Lucia can only warp to places she’s been or to people she’s met, right?”

”Yeah.”

”Then even if it takes time, we have no choice but to go by train.”

”Let’s run!”

”No. In this world, even the fastest person is slower than Petit Letree or Shepa. If people see Lucia running it’ll cause a huge uproar.”

”As long as we’re not seen, it’s fine, right?”

”That’s true. Can you do that?”

”I’ll destroy humanity.”

”Don’t.”

It would be too sad if humanity was destroyed just because a goddess wanted to see capybaras.

”Fufu. Joke. I’ll disappear.”

”Then shall we get off at the next station and run?”

Personally, since this is a zoo date I want to enjoy the process of getting there too, but Lucia seems desperate to touch the capybaras as soon as possible.

We got off at a station stop.

I was given a princess carry by Lucia and acted as navigator.

I opened my phone and displayed G○ogle Maps.

”For now, it’s about 100 kilometers that way, but you don’t understand 100 kilometers, right? Just go a little for now?”

”Understood.”

Hyun!

The scenery switched in an instant. It was so fast it was like teleportation.

We were floating about 100 meters in the air. She must have flown because going straight would have hit buildings.

Looking at my phone, we had already passed Capybara Land.

”Um. About half of that, then half again.”

”Mm.”

Hyun!

Once again the scenery switched in an instant. We got a lot closer, but we were still off. It’s just like a golf game.

”The angle is a little off. Go a bit more that way.”

”Understood.”

I confirmed our position on G○ogle Maps.

”Um... If that is a school and that is a supermarket... Ah, found it.”

Smartphones are convenient!

When I was searching for Margolant in the other world it was a huge struggle, but with GPS and G○ogle Maps, getting to a destination is this easy?

”Lucia, over there, that way.”

”Mm.”

Fuyo fuyo fuyo.

”Ah, no. Entering from the sky is no good. Land in the parking lot for now. That place with lots of shiny rectangular things.”

”Why?”

”There’s a system where you have to pay money.”

”Why?”

”To buy food for the capybaras. A zoo is a system where we pay money and the zoo people buy food and give it to the capybaras.”

”Understood.”

We landed in a corner of the parking lot, released the invisibility, and went to the reception desk.

”One adult ticket and one junior/senior high school ticket, please.”

”Yes. That will be 3,400 yen.”

”Can I use Su*ca?”

”Yes, you can. Please use the card reader over there—”

”Mm.”

Thud.

Faster than I could take out my electronic money Su*ca, Lucia placed a watermelon-sized gold nugget on the counter. It was clearly bigger than the payment slot of the reception window.

The gold wasn’t even a processed bar—it was a rough, unrefined ore that screamed ”just dug out of the ground.”

”...”

”...”

”...”

Pi.

For now I paid with my electronic money Su*ca.

What am I supposed to do with this gold ore?

Lucia, eager to meet the capybaras as soon as possible, dashed toward the gate.

”Um... Please use this toward the cost of raising the capybaras.”

”Eh? Ah? Yes...?”

The reception staff looked confused, but I gave a light nod and chased after Lucia. I don’t know the value of the gold or how to cash it in, but well, whatever. Even if that metal looks exactly like gold but doesn’t exist on Earth, if it sells for a high price it should become capybara food.

Now then.

Despite the name Capybara Land, it’s a zoo with all sorts of animals like giraffes, kangaroos, and tapirs. Where are the capybaras?

I looked for a guide board, but Lucia showed no hesitation and ran straight to the right.

”That way! It smells the same as the kemolori!”

”I see!”

Fortunately she was running at a speed that was common-sense for a human, but it was still Olympic gold medalist level, and the visitors were surprised.

I chased after her so I wouldn’t lose her. In other words, I was running at Olympic silver medalist speed, which surprised the visitors even more.

Pyon.

When we reached the capybara area, Lucia jumped over the fence and entered. This is bad. Not only middle-distance running, she’ll become a medalist in high jump too. I properly entered through the door.

”Amazing! There are so many capybaras! Waa!”

Lucia hugged the waist of the nearest capybara.

”Waa!”

Suri suri, suri suri.

She was rubbing her face against its butt with incredible intensity.

I thought the capybara would be completely put off, but it remained calm.

Amazing, the composure of a capybara. Even when suddenly hugged by a human it doesn’t thrash or run away. It’s yawning as if thinking the sunlight feels nice.

”Ah. There’s something good.”

A short distance from the entrance there was a stand with a sign that said ”Snacks 100 yen.” Apparently you put 100 yen into a wooden box and can pull out one bamboo leaf from here.

Whether it was gluttonous or smart, one capybara was already waiting by the snack stand.

Lucia would definitely not be satisfied with just one, so I put in 1,000 yen. I got ten bamboo leaves.

”Here. Capybaras seem to like these.”

”Mm.”

When I held out the bamboo leaves Lucia took all of them.

”Wait. Not all of them. I want to give some to the capybaras too.”

”Geez. Onii-chan is so selfish.”

”Eeh—”

”I can’t help it, so I’ll give you one.”

”Thank you very much.”

I received one bamboo leaf from Lucia.

While we were exchanging the bamboo leaves, before we knew it about six capybaras had surrounded us.

When Lucia held out a bamboo leaf, the capybaras started eating.

Musha musha.

As expected of the rodent family, their front teeth are long and big.

”Cute!”

”The distance between the nose and mouth is incredible. They have such charming faces.”

The capybaras were packed tightly around Lucia in a dango state. I gave a bamboo leaf to a smaller one that couldn’t get close. So cute. Nade nade.

In the blink of an eye the bamboo leaves were gone. Lucia’s leaves seemed to be gone too.

Kyuru kyuru. Kyururu...

The capybaras were making noises. They seemed to be asking for more.

I want to give them more!

But even though bamboo leaves are still for sale, if we buy them all up the other visitors would be pitiful.

It’s a weekday morning, but there are still a few visitors here and there, and those people might also want to experience feeding the capybaras.

It can’t be helped, so this is as far as the food goes.

Nade nade.

Koron.

After I kept petting it, the capybara rolled over and showed its belly. Does it feel good? Nade nade.
