Hentai Dragon King

”That’s a magic crystal monster slime. Masharu-san, do you know about them?”

”Ah, no. I’ve never seen one before.”

I see.

The monster’s name is indeed slime.

Esty-san continued walking down the highway as usual, with no intention of avoiding the slimes.

”Are we going to fight? Or avoid them?”

”For slimes like this, there’s no need to take a detour. Let’s take them out quickly. Also, Masharu-san, the merchant’s rule is to always defeat any slimes you encounter. If you ignore them, you won’t be able to enter the guild hall in any town.”

”Are slimes dangerous if left alone?”

”No, no. In the middle of this wasteland, if left alone they’d dry up on their own in a few days.”

We kept walking toward the slimes. Since the distance was still considerable, we could talk more.

”If I defeat them, will I get paid?”

”Nn~? What do you mean? Except for beast-type monster hides or innards, what part of a slime would you sell?”

Hm. From this reaction, it seems monsters don’t drop coins or give any kind of reward.

It’s almost certain that there’s no slime onahole in this world.

If slimes could be turned into onaholes, you’d catch them, peel off the materials, and finally cash them in.

No, there should probably be a whole guild of slime hunters.

”Why are there slimes in this cold wasteland where they’d dry up?”

In games, slimes are most commonly seen around the first town or in wet dungeons. Encountering one in such a cold wasteland feels a bit out of place. If they dry out when left alone, the impression is even stronger.

”Nn~ I don’t know either. Magic crystal monsters have been falling from the sky like rain in this area for a long time. Monsters don’t just multiply by mating like humans and animals — slimes can also fall from the sky.”

...Hmm. Esty-san seems a bit rushed. Is she a little irritated? Panicking? Excited? What is it? She seems a little different from a moment ago.

”Slimes falling from the sky...”

That’s not what I imagined. Slimes usually rise from underground or swamps.

I looked up, thinking maybe there was some fantasy floating island where slimes lived, but there was nothing. Maybe a bit thicker clouds?

In Earth, fish and frogs sucked up by tornadoes fall to faraway places. Is this the same? Slimes have their own habitat somewhere, and they’re being blown here by a tornado from there. The sky to the north is dark, so maybe they’re coming from that direction?

About 20 meters left.

The slimes are getting close enough that their shape is clear. There are definitely 5 of them.

They’re the size of basketballs, but not perfectly round — slightly flattened ovals. Translucent green, wobbling. The weak-point nuclei are clearly visible in the center of their semi-transparent bodies.

I thought for a second, ”Are there really idiot monsters that expose their weak points so obviously?” But of course animals have their asses exposed and humans have their cocks out when they take their clothes off. Living things are strange.

Esty-san set the basket she was carrying down on the ground.

Then she lightly rotated her right shoulder a few times to check herself, pulled out a short knife from her waist.

The dull blade reflected the sunlight.

”Now, what shall we do? I’ll take 3, Shepa-san takes 2, and Masharu-san can watch from here.”

”Slimes just dissolve clothes?”

”Wrong. They only dissolve flesh.”

”I see. Then I’ll fight too.”

If they only dissolve clothes, I can leave the battle to the others and support from the side.

I think in this fantasy world slimes should only dissolve girls’ clothes.

No, but the reason there’s no slime onahole here is probably because they dissolve flesh. Is there no slime somewhere that doesn’t dissolve meat...?

”Ah, right. Do slimes extend tentacles?”

”No. They just bounce and hit.”

I see...

It should be fine to defeat them quickly.

But still... the ”sting” feeling. That’s no good.

I should have brought a weapon. When A offered to lend me the knife, I should have taken it without hesitating. I never thought about enemies that hurt when touched...

Even in the biggest domestic JRPG, the first town sells birch rods. I want one of those.

Actually, around here the wasteland continues and the only trees are small ones at my waist height, so there aren’t any straight, solid rods.

Sorry for thinking ”don’t sell rods as merchandise.” Even if the price is high, a staff would be useful...

—-

While I was lightly nervous about my first battle, Esty-san lowered her stance and quickly approached two slimes. She stabbed their nuclei with her short knife — pusu pusu! — and they melted into puddles on the ground. As expected, the nuclei in the center of their semi-transparent bodies were the weak points.

She handled the slimes so casually that you’d think she was the one who said she’d take three. Her movements were light. As expected of a fox beastman.

Come to think of it, Esty-san had counted Shepa as a combatant from the beginning. Does Shepa even have the ability to fight? Should I take out the remaining three slimes myself?

— That worry was unnecessary.

”Go away over there!”

Thud.

Shepa kicked the slimes away.

The slimes flew through the air like soccer balls and landed about 30 meters away.

No, that’s not the important part.

Because the slimes flew away, I reflexively looked in their direction, but there was something far more worth seeing than slimes.

The hem of Shepa’s skirt fluttered up, exposing the area just below her thighs.

Even though I knew it was just fabric, not panties, I couldn’t stop myself from wanting to look.

Ah, damn. I was too late. When I finally focused my gaze, the skirt had already settled back down.

But I see. So slimes can just be kicked away. That’s something I can do too.

If the opponent isn’t a living thing, there’s no need to hold back.

”Come at me! Take this special Ace shot!”

I swung my leg with full force, like a soccer penalty kick.

”Come on! Move, Morisaki-kun!”

Twiiin!

...Hm?

The slimes disappeared. They hadn’t been kicked away.

Gooooooowwww!

”Uwah. What a strong gust! What the hell is going on?!”

The sky was clear and yet a sudden, violent wind blew. Damn. Sand and dust swirled up, making visibility poor.

Could the slimes have used magic?!

”W-what is this...!”

The ground looked like it had been scooped out with a shovel...

”Esty-san! The slimes disappeared! And a huge wind blew! Was that a special ability of the slimes?!”

”Eh?! Were those slimes that ridiculously strong upper-rank monsters?!”

”Damn. I don’t know. Let’s take out the last one first! Eat this! This is our soul shot!”

Twiiin!

...Hm?

Again! The moment my kick hit, the slime vanished.

It looked like it had turned into transparent mist.

The appearance was several kilograms, but I felt no weight at all. It truly turned into mist.

And then—

Gooooooowwww!

”Kuh... again!”

A fierce wind blew from under my feet, pulling me along.

Could there be an enemy other than the slimes?

I quickly backed away to prepare for a counterattack.

I quickly scooped up Shepa and moved beside Esty-san.

The two of them were absolutely under my protection!

”Watch your surroundings. The slimes disappeared again...!”

”N-nonsense...”

”This is weird... The slimes vanished the instant my foot touched them!!”

”No no, that’s not it — the weird part is how powerful Masharu-san’s kick was...”

”Eh?”

My kick was too powerful?

Ah!

Chance!

This is the opportunity to say the line from the ”Things I Want to Say When I’m Transferred to Another World” ranking 3rd!

I raised my right hand with a vacant expression.

”My kick’s power

is

too weak...”

”Isn’t it? Isn’t it? Because your kick’s power was so extreme that the slimes exploded into mist and vanished in an instant. The scooped-out ground and the wind blowing were all caused by Masharu-san’s kick, weren’t they?”

”I had a feeling from the second slime...”

”Let’s notice it with the first one... That skill is really something.”

”...That wasn’t a

skill...

It was a kick.”

Damn. That line doesn’t fit here at all. I’ll use it somewhere else.

”A kick of that power is way too extreme. What kind of person is Masharu-san?”

”...I wonder. It’s philosophical...”

”Shepa is our Master!”

Shepa suddenly hugged me from behind.

”Friends, huh. Since we’re already close, I’ve been curious for a while, so let me ask. Is that girl your slave, Masharu-san? Why isn’t she wearing a collar?”

”Ah, no, she’s not a slave... When Shepa says ’Master,’ it’s not like a slave calling their owner — it’s closer to how a maid in Akihabara calls her customer, or I really want to be called ’big brother,’ but then calling my little sister would be too much of a lonely position for a widow. Hey Esty-san, you were asking someone and now you’re not listening?”

”Ah, we’re done?”

While I was explaining my relationship with Shepa, Esty-san was staring at the ground, looking for something. She seemed to have picked up a small pebble.

Esty-san threw the pebble at the small pile of stones some distance away — the exact spot where the slimes had been clustered. What was that?

Shepa picked up a small pebble too and threw it at the pile.

I did the same without knowing the reason.

”So, shall we go?”

Esty-san picked up her basket and started walking.

We followed Esty-san.

A few meters later I asked.

”What were those stones just now?”

”Nn~? Don’t they do that in your hometown? Or do travelers not know? The soil around that pile of pebbles looked a little different from the surroundings, didn’t it?”

”Is that so?”

I don’t remember at all. When I asked Shepa, she tilted her head — she didn’t remember either.

”They dug it up to bury people. If a traveler dies along the way, their companions bury them. If they were traveling alone, someone who comes later will bury them and put a larger stone on top.”

Is that a gravestone?

”Later travelers who see it throw a single stone as a way to mourn the dead. The dead will eventually turn into stone. It’s less lonely with plenty of stones around. If there’s a stone, slimes won’t be able to eat the corpse as easily.”

”Ah~ I see.”

The unfortunate traveler’s body had been buried there. That’s why Esty-san told us not to disturb the small stone pile before the battle. Her slightly rushed speech and faster walking had been because she was angry that slimes were trying to eat the corpse.

Even though I didn’t know, I’d been half-joking during the battle, so I should reflect a little.

The idea that people turn into stone is believed in this era, but it’s not fact.

In fact, before the Middle Ages, stones were thought to grow like grass or trees instead of being worn down by wind and rain or washed away by rivers. The concept of people becoming stone might be possible.

In medieval Europe, stones were believed to hold mysterious power and were used for protection and healing — that’s mentioned in the 1491 German encyclopedia Hortus Sanitatis (Garden of Health).

Come to think of it, when I arrived in Montvant, Rafilia-san used a thick dildo-like staff crystal to check if I was a monster.

There really are stones with special abilities, and in this world dead people might truly turn into stone or grow bigger.

I’m imagining huge stone statue monsters that grow too.

Somehow, only a few hours after leaving Montvant, fantasy elements have suddenly increased.

The wind roared wildly in the wilderness.
