Peerless Divine Doctor

Chapter 1670: Chapter 1672: Mysterious Intruder

Soon, two Kobolds walked out, but the moment they saw Ye Luo, they were overjoyed!

The Kobolds were extremely loyal to the Royal Family, so the important members of the Royal Family were almost all known to them.

”It really is the Third Prince, everyone come out, it’s truly the Third Prince!”

The voice of surprise spread, and soon, the Kobolds hiding inside the hill came running out!

Only then could Ye Luo observe these people up close.

It could be said that these people were in a very miserable state, long-term worry left them visibly spiritless, and almost everyone was injured. Most bizarrely, the majority here were children and elders, with only a dozen young men and women!

”What happened here, why didn’t I see anyone along the way?”

Ye Luo asked directly, getting straight to the point.

Unexpectedly, his question immediately made the people a bit frightened.

”Isn’t the Prince here to support us? Didn’t the Prince come specifically to rescue us after receiving our call for help?”

What’s going on?

”No, I’m just passing through. What exactly happened here?”

Ye Luo asked once more.

Soon, Ye Luo understood what happened here from the Kobolds’ answers.

About half a year ago, an unknown force suddenly appeared around the Kobold tribe’s territory. At first, the Kobold tribe didn’t pay much attention, because some Demon Clan races lived by a nomadic lifestyle, so the appearance of a new neighbor wasn’t too surprising.

However, a month ago, that force suddenly declared war on the Kobold Tribe, and their warriors were incredibly formidable. It could be said that even if a hundred Kobold tribe warriors attacked one ordinary soldier of the enemy, they might not win.

The war was essentially over from the start because they were utterly powerless against that force!

By this time, the Kobold tribe realized their territory was completely surrounded by the enemy, unknowingly encircled, and moreover, a huge restriction had appeared around, preventing them from using any secret techniques for communication or sending messages!

Helplessly, the Kobold tribe retreated toward the core area while sending scout teams trying to break out, but whether anyone got out, they had no idea!

The enemy was unimaginably strong, and carried out a policy of extermination against them!

Once discovered, they would kill without mercy, leaving no survivors!

Panic spread among the Kobold tribe, but they had no choice!

The few hundred people here were incredibly lucky, because they built this secret place before the enemy appeared. The enemy seemed to completely disregard the Kobold tribe, so during their search, they weren’t thorough, allowing them to narrowly escape, but they only dared to hide here!

...

After listening to the narrative, Ye Luo was stunned!

This was a genocide war!

Even though the Da Yue Empire’s Demon Clan indeed had conflicts among various tribes, there had never been a war of extermination!

And as for those enemies, what could they possibly gain from exterminating the Kobold tribe?

Clearly, this was a well-organized and premeditated operation, as evidenced by their ability to completely block communication!

But who were these people, and what were they planning?

Were they forces within the Da Yue Empire?

Or did they come from elsewhere?

Ye Luo’s heart was full of doubts.

The sudden news caught Ye Luo completely unprepared, everything happened too abruptly!

It was like falling asleep in class or the office and waking up to find it was the end of the world!

So sudden!

At this moment, Ye Luo was at a loss, completely clueless.

”Do you know who those people are?”

Ye Luo had no choice but to ask cautiously.

Hoping to get some useful information from the Kobolds.

Unfortunately, their answer was only a shake of the head, as they didn’t even know who had attacked them...

Damn it, what the hell happened here?

Wait?

Suddenly, Ye Luo’s expression changed sharply, instinctively extending his Divine Sense!

Because he realized something terrifying!

He had encountered no obstacles on his way here!

Given that those people thoroughly blocked the area, preventing Kobolds from leaving, it also meant that it was sealed from the outside, making it impossible for outsiders to enter!

Yet Ye Luo came in, without any resistance!

There was only one possibility: from the moment Ye Luo stepped into the Kobold tribe’s territory, even before arriving here, he had already been monitored, but for some unknown reason, those people allowed Ye Luo to come in!

Damn!

Ye Luo was on full alert, filled with tension!

”Hmm, this little guy finally realized? Haha, Liu Kun, you lost, hand over the money!”

As Ye Luo was being vigilant, a voice suddenly interrupted.

And from that sentence, Ye Luo learned a lot; first of all, the attackers of the Kobold tribe were humans!

That’s right because a name like Liu Kun was too obvious; in the Demon Clan, no one would have the surname Liu!

Demon Clan names often derive from their race’s traits, like Man Niu from the Bullhead Tribe called Niu Man!

And the surname Liu doesn’t exist in the Da Yue Empire!

Another point was that Ye Luo’s assumption was entirely correct. From the beginning, someone had been observing him in secret, and the reason they didn’t attack him was that the two observers were just betting on him!

”Who are you? Why did you attack the Kobold tribe?”

Ye Luo frowned slightly, questioning their origin, while cautiously watching them!

”Haha, who are we? You’re not qualified to know. Ah, kid, you made me lose a hundred Telen Currency; looks like I need to teach you a lesson. I thought you wouldn’t notice us so quickly, but you cost me a loss, despite my trust in you!”

As this voice sounded, in front of Ye Luo appeared a middle-aged man clad in full-armor like a medieval knight!

Indeed, this time, Ye Luo clearly saw the person, confirming it was a human!
