Chapter 1186: Chapter 1186: The Bizarre Shi Yu

What’s going on here?

However, what astonished them even more was the previously tightly closed door actually did open, but it was only partially open. They saw Shi Yu immediately pull Ye Luo into the room and then the door closed again!

”Damn it!”

Liu Dongchen’s eyes were nearly spitting fire.

In his eyes, the fact that Shi Yu let this young man in, but not him, presented a serious problem.

Throughout this year, Liu Dongchen had already considered Shi Yu to be his exclusive delicacy. It could be said that everyone knew Shi Yu was the person Liu Dongchen had his eyes on, whether it was within the entertainment circle or among Shi Yu’s friends.

Moreover, Shi Yu had never been in contact with any other men, which was why Liu Dongchen had been able to endure for a whole year.

But today’s events had caught him completely off guard and had filled him with boundless rage.

At this moment, inside the room, Ye Luo was frowning as he looked at Shi Yu.

Because Ye Luo had spotted something extraordinary about Shi Yu, a sinister aura!

”What did you see? Why are you staring at Shi Yu?” Shi Yanran asked with some confusion. In the hearts of all the women, Ye Luo was indeed a huge lecher, but he was never indiscriminate. Yet his behavior today was somewhat strange.

Upon hearing Shi Yanran’s words, Ye Luo turned his gaze away and without any explanation, embraced Shi Yanran in his arms.

”Honey, did you miss me?”

Shi Yanran’s cheeks turned a faint red, but she didn’t push Ye Luo away, instead she shyly said,

”Stop it, there are other people here!”

Ye Luo smiled slightly, but he still let go of Shi Yanran. However, his gaze returned to Shi Yu again, and even his brows furrowed slightly.

Although Shi Yu knew that Ye Luo was Shi Yanran’s boyfriend and felt it inappropriate to react, she couldn’t help feeling indignant inside: ”I really don’t understand why Yan Ran would choose such a lecher for a boyfriend.”

Of course, Shi Yanran didn’t see it that way. Seeing Ye Luo’s expression, she already sensed that the matter was not simple.

Because she knew Ye Luo well; his medical skills were exceptional. Plus, his current gaze was like examining a patient, which told her that perhaps Ye Luo had discovered something.

Shi Yanran quietly pulled on Ye Luo’s sleeve, then whispered, ”Does Shi Yu have an illness or something?”

Her voice was so soft that only Ye Luo could hear it.

Ye Luo nodded but then shook his head.

Shi Yanran was taken aback, slightly confused by what Ye Luo meant, but she didn’t stop him. After all, she knew him: unless he had noticed something, he wouldn’t have been so rude.

”Hello, my name is Ye Luo. I have a few questions I’d like to ask you.”

Suddenly, Ye Luo directly addressed Shi Yu.

It was no surprise that Ye Luo was so out of sorts this time because he had truly discovered something very strange about Shi Yu.

Ye Luo had used his Clairvoyant Eye to examine Shi Yu. He could be said to have seen through her completely, inside and out, yet he hadn’t found any abnormalities. However, the sensation Shi Yu gave to Ye Luo was extremely odd.

Especially after careful observation, Ye Luo finally realized what this feeling was.

Death Qi!

Yes, Death Qi!

Despite a beautiful woman standing before him, Ye Luo had a feeling that this girl was, in fact, already dead!

This was a very strange feeling, especially since Shi Yu’s heartbeat and pulse showed no signs of abnormality, making the situation even more bizarre.

But Ye Luo never doubted his own intuition, so naturally he wanted to get some clarity.

Shi Yu frowned slightly, not particularly pleased with Ye Luo’s behavior, but out of respect for Shi Yanran’s face, Shi Yu still smiled and said.

”You’re Yan Ran’s boyfriend, so naturally, you’re also my friend. If there’s anything you want to ask, go ahead.”

Ye Luo nodded, but the question he asked made Shi Yanran look at Ye Luo as if he were a monster.

Because Ye Luo directly asked Shi Yu, ”Are you already dead?”

A living person standing right in front of him, and Ye Luo dared to ask such a thing. Wasn’t this nonsense?

Shi Yanran was about to remind Ye Luo, but she held back because she noticed Ye Luo was very serious, definitely not joking.

Ye Luo was incredibly powerful and his methods were heaven-reaching. In Shi Yanran’s heart, she never doubted Ye Luo. Her earlier reaction was just a subconscious response, but now, she was looking at Shi Yu with a face full of panic.

Because Shi Yanran knew that Ye Luo would never say such a thing for no reason.

Subconsciously, Shi Yanran held Ye Luo’s arm even tighter!

And at this moment, Shi Yu’s expression became a bit strange.

Indeed, he had had an accident before, but very few people knew about it.

About six months ago, Shi Yu went back to his hometown, as it was located in a rural village, and Shi Yu did not go back with anyone else. He just wanted to visit his parents.

However, just as Shi Yu was getting close to his home, he accidentally lost his footing and fell into a reservoir.

Shi Yu couldn’t swim, and at that moment, he clearly felt himself sinking to the bottom of the reservoir and also lost consciousness.

But when he woke up, he found himself lying unharmed on the bank of the reservoir.

Considering that there were hardly any people in the village, and since it was nearly dark when Shi Yu fell into the water, nobody discovered him.

Yet when Shi Yu woke up, it was dawn.

At that time, Shi Yu thought someone must have rescued him but didn’t want him to know who it was, so they left.

With a heart full of trepidation, Shi Yu then went back home.

This incident, Shi Yu hadn’t even spoken of to anyone.

Though Shi Yu later had people thoroughly investigate, the results left him utterly astonished.

Within ten miles of the reservoir, there were only three households. One of them included Shi Yu’s parents, and the other two consisted mostly of elderly people who were alone at home and never went out at night.

As for those living further away, it was impossible for them to visit the reservoir.

One could say that Shi Yu’s rescue was very mysterious, and even Shi Yu himself couldn’t understand how it happened.

But as time passed, Shi Yu gradually forgot about it.

However, now that Ye Luo had suddenly brought it up, Shi Yu was startled once again.

Because Shi Yu had even once wondered if he was indeed already dead!

”What do you mean by saying that?”

Shi Yu asked Ye Luo, sounding somewhat frightened.

In truth, Ye Luo was also somewhat confused about the entire situation. Even asking such a question, Ye Luo found it quite ludicrous. If someone were truly dead, how could they still appear here?
