Peerless Divine Doctor

Chapter 748: Chapter 748: Treating the Hou Family’s Old Master_1

”You’d better not mess around, otherwise if I spread the word about today’s incident, you’ll become famous,” Ye Luo’s eyes flashed with a narrow gaze.

”I’ll kill you right now so you won’t have the chance to tell anyone,” Cao Jianjia said coldly, a glint of murderous intent flashing in her eyes.

”Are you sure you can kill me in your current state?”

Ye Luo waved the belt in his hand, smiling playfully at the other party.

Cao Jianjia’s face changed, and looking down, she noticed her belt had fallen into Ye Luo’s hands, and her military uniform was still unbuttoned.

”If you still want to make a move, then I might really pin you down here and give you a smack, and you’d better not blame me,” Ye Luo said with a mischievous look in his eyes.

Cao Jianjia’s gaze flickered for a moment, and she said coldly, ”Give me back my belt.”

”This, I’ll take as my trophy of victory— it belongs to me now,” Ye Luo said with a curl of his lip.

Cao Jianjia buttoned up her military uniform and swept a cold glance at Ye Luo, ”You just wait, I’ll make sure you get what’s coming to you.”

Having said that, Cao Jianjia turned and quickly left the area.

”Interesting,” Ye Luo chuckled and just as leisurely walked away from the place.

However, upon returning, Ye Luo realized that their scuffle had taken them quite far—they had run a good five or six kilometers.

On the way back, Ye Luo saw an elderly man dressed in white practicing Tai Chi in a pavilion in the distance, surrounded by four middle-aged men dressed in black. To Ye Luo’s surprise, all four men were powerful beings of the third level of the Saint Realm.

Four Saint Realm powerhouses guarding an old man—it was clear that the old man’s status was no simple matter.

However, just as Ye Luo was about to leave, the elderly man practicing Tai Chi in the pavilion suddenly grunted and fell to the ground, his face turning extremely pale in an instant.

The four middle-aged men’s faces changed, and they hurried forward, asking, ”Old master, are you alright?”

”Quick, get the old master to the hospital!”

One of them said urgently, preparing to lift the elder and take him to the hospital.

”If you don’t want him to die, you’d better not move him!”

At this moment, a cold voice exploded in the ears of the four men, who simultaneously turned to look and saw a casually dressed young man with an indifferent expression approaching.

”Who are you? Get out of the way now!”

One middle-aged man said coldly to Ye Luo, as they prepared to lift the elder.

Naturally, this young man was Ye Luo. Seeing the four attempt to lift the elder, he frowned and instantly appeared on the spot, saying coldly, ”He has acute cerebral hemorrhage. If you move him now, prepare for him to spend the rest of his life lying in a bed as a vegetable.”

”Are you a doctor?”

The previously speaking middle-aged man swept his eyes over Ye Luo, a hint of surprise flashing through them, as the other three looked on curiously.

Ye Luo didn’t speak, a Silver Needle appeared in his hand and headed straight for the Baihui acupoint on the elder’s head.

The faces of the four middle-aged men changed.

”What are you doing?” a middle-aged man shouted coldly, about to stop Ye Luo.

”Wait, he must be performing acupuncture,” another person urgently said to his companion.

Ye Luo’s silver needles pierced into the elder’s Baihui acupoint. As the needle pushed halfway in, Ye Luo gently twirled it between two fingers, and strands of Nine Yang True Qi flowed through the silver needle into the elder’s body.

”Brother, are you sure he knows how to perform acupuncture? What if something happens to the old man...”

Watching this scene, the middle-aged man who had initially tried to stop Ye Luo spoke with a worried expression to the man who prevented him.

”He’s no ordinary person,” the man who was obviously the leader said as his gaze fixed on Ye Luo. He then commanded, ”Notify the Family Head immediately and have him bring a doctor.”

Without delay, another person took out their cellphone and dialed a number.

At this moment, Ye Luo’s entire focus was on the elder. More silver needles appeared in his hand, piercing into various acupoints on the elder’s head.

The elder had suffered an acute cerebral thrombosis, his brain under severe pressure from an accumulation of clotted blood. Without timely treatment, the minor outcome would be vegetative state, while the severe outcome could lead to nerve compression and brain death. Fortunately for the elder, he met Ye Luo; otherwise, he would have been beyond help.

Ye Luo continued to wield the silver needles, using acupuncture and Nine Yang True Qi to dissipate the clots in the elder’s brain.

After several minutes of acupuncture treatment, the blood clots in the elder’s brain were completely cleared by Ye Luo, and his complexion gradually returned to normal as he slowly opened his eyes.

”All right, you are out of danger now.”

Ye Luo exhaled a breath of turbid air and removed all the silver needles from the elder’s head. Meanwhile, the four men of Saint Realm strength were completely shocked. They hadn’t expected this young man to truly know acupuncture and to have revitalized the elder so quickly.

”Young man, thank you!”

The elder gazed at Ye Luo with a grateful expression.

”I happened to be here, it was nothing,” replied Ye Luo indifferently.

Just then, the sound of cars approached abruptly, and soon four Mercedes-Benz vehicles, along with an Audi bearing a military plate, arrived at the spot. The car doors opened, and a group of men dressed in black suits with a fierce presence stepped out.

The door of the Audi opened, and a middle-aged man dressed in a Sun Yat-sen suit with a scholarly demeanor was the first to exit. It was Hou Yaoyang, the Family Head of the Hou Family.

Following him, an elder with a goatee and gray hair carrying a medical box came down. The two quickly strode towards the pavilion.

”Father, are you all right? I received a call from the guard saying you’d had a sudden cerebral hemorrhage, this...”

Hou Yaoyang entered the pavilion and, seeing the elder looking completely unharmed and standing before him, was taken aback, as was the doctor who accompanied him.

”I’m fine now, thanks to this young friend. I would have been in danger without his help,” the elder said smilingly while looking at Ye Luo.

Hou Yaoyang and the doctor carrying the medical box turned their gazes to Ye Luo, their eyes filled with amazement.

”Father, are you saying he cured your cerebral hemorrhage?” Hou Yaoyang asked, looking at Ye Luo in disbelief.

”Yes, exactly. This young man revived me using acupuncture. He truly is a Divine Doctor with exceptional medical skills,” the elder acclaimed, admiringly looking at Ye Luo.

”Well, if there’s nothing else, I’ll be leaving,” said Ye Luo, his expression calm.

”Young man, you saved my life, and I, Hou Xiangguo, must properly thank you. Please, come with me to the Hou...” the elder began, looking at Ye Luo earnestly.

”No need, I have other matters to attend to.”

As Ye Luo spoke, he stepped out of the pavilion. However, he turned and gave the elder one last look: ”But you need to remove that shrapnel in your brain soon. If left unchecked, it will soon press on your brain nerves and blood vessels, and then your life really will be at risk.”
