Peerless Divine Doctor

Ha!

Leng Ruobing’s eyes narrowed, a chilling aura emanating from her body, seeming to freeze the very void around her. The hidden figures of the ninja were all forced out into the open, only to be swiftly dealt with by Leng Ruobing.

After a brutal skirmish, the entire street was littered with corpses, the air thick with the stench of blood. These forty fearsome Genetically Modified People were all slaughtered, including those ten or so ninjas—all eliminated by Leng Ruobing.

On the side of the Special Security Bureau, there were also over a dozen casualties and many more injured. Had it not been for the presence of a master like Leng Ruobing, perhaps it would have been the Bureau’s members who were all eradicated.

”Damn it, these Genetically Modified People really are terrifying,” remarked an agent of the Bureau, spitting out a mouthful of blood, his body covered in deep scratch marks.

”Indeed, they were fearsome and fought without fear of death, and their strength was terrifying. Just like the Beastmen portrayed on television, it’s hard to believe that people from the Island Country would conduct such distressing and mad experiments in our Huaxia. It’s fortunate we discovered it early; had the Island Country managed to mass-produce them, it could have thrown the entire world into chaos.”

Leng Ruobing’s gaze glinted coldly as she ordered, ”Collect the bodies of these Genetically Modified People and clean up without leaving any traces.”

The Han Group’s elevator to the underground facility had now reached the facility. As the elevator doors opened, a barrage of gunfire erupted, and countless bullets riddled the elevator. A group of men in black, armed with weapons, stood outside.

However, after a frantic spate of gunfire, they realized, to their bewilderment, that there was nobody inside the elevator.

It was at that moment, from above the elevator ceiling, that Ye Luo burst forth, throwing a punch that sent the first man flying, crashing into several others behind him, and they all fell to the ground.

Whiz, whiz, whiz!

Sword lights shot out in succession, and Ye Luo efficiently disposed of the group armed with firearms.

”It’s you again, kid!” A chilling voice rang out, as Tian Zhong stepped forward, his gaze fixed coldly on Ye Luo.

”You guys from the Island Country sure are bold, daring to use our Huaxia people for your so-called genetic research. You all deserve to die!” Ye Luo’s eyes narrowed, a cold and fierce light flashing through them.

”It seems you’ve discovered everything. Well then, today you will die at the hands of our great Genetically Modified People,” Tian Zhong said with a cold laugh.

With the roar of wild beasts, two massive figures appeared; their bodies covered with black hair, their hands had grown into sharp claws.

Their faces were fierce, their pupils showing the glint of ferocious beasts—they were no longer human but had become Genetically Modified People, or more precisely, Beastmen.

”Kill him!” Tian Zhong barked, and the two Genetically Modified People rushed towards Ye Luo.

Ye Luo’s sword strike landed on one of them but emitted a clanging noise—it failed to harm the Genetically Modified Person.

”Ha-ha, these two Genetically Modified People have been merged with crocodile DNA; their skin has become as hard as iron, tens of times harder than a crocodile’s hide. Hurting them won’t be easy,” Tian Zhong laughed loudly.

No wonder their skin was so thick; even crocodile DNA had been fused into them.

Roar!

The other Genetically Modified Person roared like a lion, and with a swift and powerful swipe of its claw—a mix of a cheetah’s speed, a lion’s attacking force, and an elephant’s strength—it displayed its terrifying power.

Ye Luo’s body flashed, quickly dodging the incoming attack. The combat strength of these two genetically modified people had already surpassed the Innate Late Stage.

Together, they could probably even give a master at the Innate Peak Stage a hard time. The genetically modified people really were terrifying, being able to make an ordinary person so powerful.

”Kid, now you see how formidable we genetically modified people are,” Tian Zhong said with a smug smile, looking at Ye Luo.

Then the two genetically modified people attacked Ye Luo again. Ye Luo’s expression darkened as he put away the soft sword and directly circulated the Nine Yang Mystic Art combined with the Fiery Flame Divine Fist.

Earth-splitting Fist!

Ye Luo gathered all his strength, the power from his three extraordinary meridians and the Nine Yang True Qi from his Dantian surged out wildly, turning into Nine Yang True Fire.

With one punch, flames enveloped his fist like a fireball, striking down and hitting one of the genetically modified people in the chest. The terrible power erupted in an instant.

Even though the opponent’s skin was as hard as iron, it was mercilessly crushed by the true force, caving in and leaving a hole. Thereupon, that genetically modified person fell to the ground.

Using the same method, he dealt with the remaining genetically modified person.

Seeing this, Tian Zhong’s face darkened.

”It seems your genetically modified people aren’t that strong after all,” Ye Luo said with a wry smile, glancing at Tian Zhong with a hint of coldness in his eyes.

”Go!”

With a cold shout from Tian Zhong, the remaining dozen or so ninjas all made their move, attacking Ye Luo, while he himself disappeared from the spot and entered the heart of the base.

Han Youwei walked over quickly with a backpack and said to Tian Zhong, ”All the core data and material are in here. What about the remaining experimental subjects, the equipment, and researchers?”

”Kill all the researchers, activate the self-destruct mechanism, and turn this place into ruins. Then the Special Security Bureau won’t get anything,” Tian Zhong said coldly.

Han Youwei’s expression changed and he said, ”If we activate the self-destruct mechanism, the Han Group building might also collapse.”

”Mr. Han, do you think it’s better for the Special Security Bureau to discover this place, to be convicted of treason, and for the Han Family to be destroyed, or do you think losing a headquarters is better?” Tian Zhong stared at Han Youwei and asked harshly.

Han Youwei’s expression changed repeatedly, and he nodded. Tian Zhong then instructed a guard beside him, ”You go activate the self-destruct mechanism.”

Subsequently, a burst of gunfire rang out, and the group of researchers was exterminated, while Tian Zhong and Han Youwei left through the secret passage.

At this moment, Ye Luo had just finished killing those dozen or so ninjas. With a sweep of his Clairvoyant Eye, his expression changed slightly, and he quickly charged into the base.

In a secret room of the base, the guard beside Tian Zhong was typing on a keyboard in front of a computer, initiating the self-destruct mechanism.

This base had been equipped with a self-destruct mechanism from the moment it was built. Once the mechanism was activated, the entire base would be destroyed by explosives.

Soon, a line of text appeared on the computer: ”Emergency self-destruct mechanism - do you wish to activate?”

Below it, there were options for yes and no. Simply clicking yes would automatically start the self-destruct mechanism.
