Peerless Divine Doctor

Ye Luo’s gaze was fixed on Nie Yuntian, ”Uncle Nie, don’t panic for now, I think Wen Yu and Wen Ling are not in immediate danger. What we need to do is to locate where they are, then you and I will go rescue the two sisters together.”

”I have a way to find their location, and I will contact you then, Ye Luo!”

Nie Yuntian looked at Ye Luo and spoke.

”Okay,” Ye Luo nodded.

”Uncle Nie, are your injuries alright?”

”I’m fine,” Nie Yuntian shook his head, then left the place, while Ye Luo’s eyes narrowed, shimmering with light.

The setting sun cast a rosy glow over half the sky, and soon night would fall over the bustling city of Zhonghai.

In a street in Zhonghai where every inch of land was worth its weight in gold, there stood a skyscraper hundreds of meters tall, a landmark within the busy street, and this building was the headquarters of the Han Group.

The Han Group’s influence in Zhonghai was by no means inferior to the other major conglomerates.

Opposite the Han Group’s building was a budget hotel. At this moment, a certain floor of the hotel was completely under the control of the Special Security Bureau, teeming with their personnel.

Ye Luo, holding his identification, entered the place, and led by a member of the Special Security Bureau, he came to the outside of a room. Just as he was about to open the door, it swung open, revealing Mingyue dressed in black leather attire, standing in front of him.

”What are you looking at?”

Mingyue, noticing Ye Luo’s eyes fixed on her, blushed slightly and spoke impolitely.

”Beautiful lady, we are on a mission. Dressed so enticingly, are you trying to make us fail?” Ye Luo said seriously.

”You... This is my work attire, okay? Pervert,” Mingyue, incensed by Ye Luo, turned her body away, refusing to look at him anymore.

As Ye Luo entered the room, he saw another figure—Leng Ruobing.

”Leng... Ruo Bing, what are you doing here?” Ye Luo asked with a hint of surprise upon seeing Leng Ruobing.

”The higher-ups are placing great importance on this mission, which absolutely requires the complete destruction of this base. To prevent any accidents, they specially sent me with a group of Earth Group’s experts to assist you,” Leng Ruobing said to Ye Luo, her tone not as cold as before.

”Mhm,” Ye Luo responded and walked straight to the window, his gaze fixated on the Han Group building across the street, his Clairvoyant Eye already encompassing the entire structure.

As Ye Luo surveyed with his Clairvoyant Eye, indeed, there was a huge underground world beneath the building, built into a vast underground base. Ye Luo’s expression changed when he saw some of the situations inside the base.

”What’s wrong?” Leng Ruobing, observing the change in Ye Luo’s expression, asked.

”Under this building, there’s definitely a base, but do you know what this base is for?” Ye Luo asked.

”We don’t know yet, but judging by the Island Country’s nature, this base is surely not concocting anything beneficial,” Leng Ruobing said indifferently.

”What the base is researching are Genetically Modified People,” Ye Luo said gravely.

”What? Genetically Modified People?”

Both Leng Ruobing and Mingyue’s expressions turned to shock, their eyes revealing disbelief.

Ye Luo nodded, ”That’s right, this underground base is researching Genetically Modified People, using technology to transfer different animal genes to humans, giving them immense Strength. These Genetically Modified People are likely all from our Huaxia.”

”These beasts!” Mingyue cursed angrily.

Leng Ruobing’s eyes flashed with a touch of unusual color as she looked at Ye Luo and said, ”How do you know all this?”

”Because I am a divine being,” Ye Luo revealed a mysterious smile without giving a direct answer.

”What should we do now? If it really is Genetically Modified People, this base must be destroyed. We absolutely cannot allow their leak, or it will lead to serious trouble,” stated Leng Ruobing with a solemn expression.

”It’s getting dark now. Once night falls, secretly block off this street, then I’ll infiltrate the base to conduct a reconnaissance. Wait for my signal, and then we’ll attack and destroy it,” Ye Luo said indifferently.

”It could be dangerous for you to infiltrate alone,” Leng Ruobing expressed her concern with a glance at Ye Luo.

Ye Luo smiled, ”These Genetically Modified People may be formidable, but they are not my match.”

Soon, an hour had passed, and the sky over Zhonghai had completely darkened.

As Ye Luo was preparing to move, his eyes narrowed, fixating on the Han Group’s building.

Minutes later, three small trucks slowly drove out of the underground parking lot of the Han Group.

”Ruo Bing, take your team and intercept these trucks,” Ye Luo instructed Leng Ruobing.

”Is there something wrong with these trucks?” Mingyue asked, peering through night-vision goggles, puzzled.

”They’re all filled with Genetically Modified People!” Ye Luo announced.

The faces of Mingyue and Leng Ruobing turned to shock once again.

”They’re Genetically Modified People? Are they trying to transfer them out?” Mingyue couldn’t help but ask.

”Clearly, that’s the case. They have probably guessed that we are onto them, so the only option is to transfer all the successfully experimented Genetically Modified People out,” Ye Luo said, his eyes squinting, a sharp glint flickering within.

”I’ll go intercept them,” Mingyue said immediately.

Ye Luo shook his head, ”No, you won’t manage. Let Ruo Bing do it.”

”Why?” Mingyue asked, not satisfied.

”You’re not strong enough. Going there would just be throwing away your life. Ruo Bing, these Genetically Modified People are no joke; be careful,” Ye Luo warned Leng Ruobing.

”Understood,” Leng Ruobing nodded and left the room.

”Hey, you keep calling her Ruo Bing, Ruo Bing; what exactly is your relationship with Miss Leng?” Mingyue stared at Ye Luo with a curious twinkle in her eyes.

Ye Luo glanced at Mingyue, ”Is it any of your business?”

Having said that, Ye Luo left the room, leaving Mingyue behind with her chest hurting from irritation—this scoundrel was her nemesis.

Leaving the hotel, a cold smirk appeared on Ye Luo’s lips as he rushed towards the Han Group’s building.

With the Dragon Soaring Nine Heavens technique pushed to its limit, Ye Luo moved so swiftly in the darkness that only a shadowy afterimage was visible, dodging all surveillance and guards to infiltrate the underground parking lot of the Han Group’s building.

Standing outside an elevator in the underground parking lot were four men in black, guarding the elevator.

Ye Luo scanned the area, noticing many surveillance cameras around. Several Silver Needles appeared in his hand and were violently shot out, instantly shattering those cameras.
