I Aggressively Stack Steel of the Heart in the Knight Order

Intense heat distorted the rain and air. At Reinhardt’s feet, white mist vaporized into shockwaves that radiated outward.

Large raindrops hammered against the surface of his Power Armor, crackling on impact. Long-dried blood scabs, washed away by the rain, flowed down in crimson streams.

BANG—

His Power Boots crashed heavily into a puddle. The dilapidated ground, long in disrepair, abruptly caved in, exploding into a web of cracks.

Through his Angel Vision, he saw that the number of mortals streaming toward the church had already surpassed a thousand.

If he and Atlas were to fight here, even the mere shockwaves from their clashing blows would cause these mortals to die in droves.

At this moment.

Atlas had plummeted from ten thousand meters into the church, his condition unknown. After a moment of careful consideration, Reinhardt did not act rashly. He simply stood in place, turning his head to look at the nearby mortals and the rows of low, dilapidated houses.

At his gaze, every mortal present reverently bowed their head and dropped to one knee in awe.

”Where is the priest in charge of this church? Come see me at once.”

Even with the air full of the din of the downpour, some people heard Reinhardt’s voice and began to search frantically through the crowd for the priest.

「Not long after.」

An elderly man wearing the white robes of a National Church Priest and holding a staff polished smooth with age, braved the rain, stumbling as he trotted up to Reinhardt with an immensely respectful attitude.

”Praise the Great Emperor, Angel. I am Allem, the priest presiding over the Silver Church.”

The instant the priest finished speaking.

Reinhardt snapped his head up, his gaze fixed on the church ruins. Within his Knight Perception, something was moving. At the same time, the Imperial Technology of his Angel Vision switched to infrared mode, outlining a crimson humanoid figure climbing to its feet.

”In the name of the Imperial Knights, I command you to notify the City Lord and the Defense Army of the surrounding regions. Have them organize an immediate evacuation of all civilians in the area.

The heretic that crashed into the church is extremely dangerous.”

Hearing the word ’heretic,’ the priest froze for a moment. He then turned to look at the ruins of the Silver Church. When he heard a commotion from within the wreckage, his expression changed dramatically!

After bowing to Reinhardt, he quickly ran toward the crowd of onlookers, shouting, ”In the name of the Emperor’s Angels! I demand you leave this place! Immediately—!

A dangerous heretic has invaded our city...”

Although the priest did his best to disperse the crowd, the downpour clearly drowned out his voice. The vast majority, driven by a mixture of curiosity and reverence, lingered where they were, unwilling to leave.

The next second.

BANG—!

The ancient door, which had stood at the entrance to the Silver Church for two hundred years, was blasted by a tremendous force. It shot out like a cannonball, hurtling straight toward Reinhardt with a piercing shriek!

Facing the half-ton wooden door, Reinhardt had many ways to evade it. But with the large crowd gathered behind him, whether he chose to cleave it with his War Axe or detonate it with a Living Bomb, the consequences would be catastrophic.

Amid the oppressive quiet of the storm.

Reinhardt stood his ground, bracing his body to meet the massive, flying wooden door head-on. Even with the aid of his Aikacia Nozzles, his feet were driven deep into the ground.

But the terrifying kinetic energy it carried still pushed him backward, sending him sliding ten meters across the ground.

He came to a halt just inches in front of a young boy.

After a moment of dead silence, a commotion erupted. Realizing the danger, the onlookers began to flee frantically. Yet the boy, who had been lucky enough to gaze up at Reinhardt’s imposing figure from so close, seemed to have his eyes glued to the dark-painted Power Armor. His parents had to yank him several times before they could drag him away to safety.

Through the curtain of rain.

The boy glanced back reluctantly, but the towering figure that had made such an unprecedented impact on his young mind was ultimately swallowed by the tide of fleeing civilians.

’So... that’s one of the Emperor’s Angels?’

’A Demigod walking among mortals.’

As he was carried further away, the only thing he could hear was the tremendous crash of the half-ton church door hitting the ground.

In the small square before the church, Atlas sneered. His gaze swept over the fleeing Imperial Citizens as he mocked, ”You’re one of the Emperor’s Vengeful Angels, Reinhardt.

Someone with your extraordinary status and immense power... and you actually care about these mortals?”

Reinhardt tossed aside the crumpled church door and said coldly, ”Your level of strength doesn’t give you the right to criticize me, heretic.”

”Is that so?”

The smile vanished from Atlas’s face. He held out his right hand, and a massive Warhammer whistled through the air into his grasp.

Beneath his skin, molten metal seemed to flow, radiating such intense heat that the downpour vaporized before it could even touch him.

The billowing steam, warped by some malevolent power, gradually twisted into a massive, blasphemous sigil.

Meanwhile, molten extraordinary metal seeped from Atlas’s pores, coalescing on his skin to form a menacing, deep-black armor that pulsed with an eerie blue energy.

Its twisted patterns resembled the wailing faces of humans pressed together. The deep black material looked less like metal and more like an exoskeleton.

Furnace Cast Relic: Battlefield Death God.

A prototype of the Battlefield Death God implant, a War Armament jointly developed by the Shadow Temple and Enok.

Speed boost, defensive enhancement, strength enhancement, non-combat concealment...

An armament designed purely to enhance the user’s Body Technique Abilities.

With the support of this armament, Atlas could match most Domain Level Powerhouses, and even overpower them—unless he encountered an Imperial Knight who wielded a unique Domain Power.

The weapon in his hand was no ordinary item either.

It was the Furnace Cast Holy Artifact, Spiritual Disaster, augmented with fragments from the armor of the Supreme King’s Guard. It was meant to compensate for Atlas’s weaknesses when facing Wizards and Psychics.

PSSSHHH—

A wave of heat pushed the rain away, turning into a cloud of billowing white steam.

Atlas took a step forward. His expression warped from indifference to malevolence, his bloodshot eyes filled with hatred!

”Does this armament look familiar? I really should thank you, Reinhardt. Your own Extraordinary Armament provided Lord Enok with more than enough data.

But because of you, in Lord Enok’s eyes, I was nothing but a pathetic test subject, doomed to live my entire life in the shadow of the Vengeful Angels.”

As he spoke, he tightened his grip on his Warhammer’s haft, the murderous intent erupting from his eyes becoming almost tangible.

”Lord Enok has promised me. If I kill you with my own hands, prove my strength with your blood, he will acknowledge that I am no longer an experiment. He will grant me the title of Great Lord of Bator World and allow me to leave the shadows and walk in the sun.”
