I Aggressively Stack Steel of the Heart in the Knight Order

But this was not the end!

After executing Wells and his Personal Guard, the two Earth Knights who had suddenly lashed out immediately drew their Knight’s Broadswords. They activated their Knight Power and, ignoring the shock and curses of their comrades, mercilessly cut them down one by one!

A rebel, unable to fend them off, let out a dying roar. He fell to one knee and cried out in horror, ”My lord! It’s me, Hector! I’m your Personal Guard!

You can’t—”

Before he could finish, the broadsword, wreathed in Knight Power, paid no heed to their past brotherhood as it cruelly severed the rebel’s head.

The strongest of them, Four-star Earth Knight Wells, could not withstand such an injury. His massive frame collapsed forward, one hand clutching his throat as blood gushed violently. He tried to pull out the dagger.

But the dagger piercing his throat and carotid artery was clearly no ordinary object. The power of an Extraordinary Creation held it fast in his muscles, and bright red arterial blood spurted wildly along the fuller of the blade.

In just a moment, the massive blood loss left him dizzy and light-headed, and he could no longer effectively channel his Knight Power.

His left hand feebly propped up his body as he struggled to lift his head, watching helplessly as his sworn allies suddenly went mad, cutting down his men and even their own Personal Guards.

Every slash was steeped in cold-bloodedness and cruelty.

’Wells couldn’t understand. Were these two simply going insane, or was it...?’

But he wouldn’t get the chance to figure it out, nor the time for a final, desperate strike. A sharp Knight’s Broadsword swung mercilessly at his neck. His head tumbled to the floor amidst a spray of blood!

It took only ten seconds.

Of the vast second wave of rebels who had boarded, only the two assailants remained standing. Scattered at their feet were more than ten headless corpses, warm blood trickling slowly over their Power Boots.

Until it reached Reinhardt’s feet.

When the dust settled, Urus slowly emerged from the darkness, standing behind and to Reinhardt’s left. Upon seeing Urus, the two rebels skillfully sheathed their Broadswords, strode over, and knelt on one knee before him.

”My lord.”

”My lord.”

Perhaps it was the string of failures in the intelligence war against the Infiltrators that had left Urus unable to hold his head high among the Vengeful Angels, his pride severely wounded.

As the two men revealed their identities, the anger and pent-up frustration in Urus’s heart instantly vanished!

He nodded slightly to Reinhardt, then walked before the two men. His gaze condescending, he said coldly, ”Identify yourselves.”

As he finished speaking, the two men removed their Full Coverage Helmets. Under the influence of a strange power, the muscles and bones of their faces shifted and reformed, finally settling back into their true features.

Next, the two men slit their fingers. The welling blood coalesced into the unique identification sigil of the Night Demon Legion.

One of them said, bowing his head respectfully, ”My lord, Frost and Crab of the Silencer Mimicry Division, reporting.

In Radiant Calendar year 1446, on your orders, we assassinated Knight Warlords Dasede and Crick. We then assumed their identities to infiltrate Claudius’s inner circle.

When we learned the Vengeful Angels were trapped in Cyrenaica, we tried to contact HQ, but the Spiritual Tide was blocking the Radiant Beacon’s signal. The situation was critical. We determined it was necessary to provide immediate support to the Vengeful Angels.

But we didn’t expect...”

Though Urus’s voice was cold and merciless, he couldn’t suppress the smug satisfaction of finally one-upping Reinhardt.

”You didn’t expect that I was also on the Avenger Flagship.”

Hearing this cold, accusatory reply, Frost quickly lowered his head. ”My lord, I request to be subjected to the Battle Group’s disciplinary articles after the war. This will be punishment for Crab and me for the rash decision to expose our identities without authorization.

But the situation was urgent. I’ve received reliable intelligence: the Mechanical Order is excavating an extremely powerful Ancient Wizard’s Divine Artifact in Cyrenaica. Claudius has already made a deal with Great Sage Cassio, and they intend to deploy this Divine Artifact in the rebellion against Iberia.”

After listening to their report, Urus turned to look at Reinhardt. Receiving a nod of approval, he said coldly, ”Get up. Lord Reinhardt is here, so I will temporarily overlook your violation of the Battle Group’s articles.

However, I need you to provide the precise location of the excavation site, as well as the position of that massive Spiritual Device. Understood?”

Frost was a veteran Silencer, his face a web of scars, his expression ancient, his eyes perpetually radiating weariness. Crab, by contrast, was a younger, gloomier man, his eyes hidden behind a curtain of black hair.

’Lord Reinhardt?’

They cautiously glanced at the Black Armored Knight standing behind Urus.

Having infiltrated Claudius’s faction, they had heard rumors about the Vengeful Angels, but this was the first time they had seen one in the flesh.

This was especially true when they saw Nelom, the Ash-Burning Tyrant—the very man sent to board the ship and assassinate Reinhardt—standing silently to Reinhardt’s right. It was impossible to tell friend from foe.

After a moment of silence, Frost gave Reinhardt a slight bow of respect.

Nelom’s brow furrowed. He never would have dreamed that Urus had agents lurking right under Claudius’s nose.

Knight Warlords Dasede and Crick weren’t part of the core leadership, but they were staunch supporters of Governor Claudius. Nelom himself had interacted with them on occasion, yet he’d never imagined they were Silencer agents in disguise from the very beginning.

As an Imperial Knight, he knew little of such shadowy warfare. But to operate so openly under Claudius’s nose, even attending high-level meetings...

Just then, the inertia from the ship’s acceleration threw him off balance. He stumbled to the side, only stopping when he collided with a wall.

Koller’s voice rang through the psionic comms.

”I’m helping the Technician Priest control the Witchcraft Energy inside him. Accelerating will let us shake our pursuers for now. Urus, bring your men to the bridge. We need to draw up a more detailed battle plan.”

With the intel from these two Silencers, they could scrap their previous plan entirely and devise a more detailed, rational strategy.

As Reinhardt turned and strode toward the bridge, the others fell in line behind him and followed.

Stopping before the second-level command console, Reinhardt saw the Knight’s Broadsword embedded in the wall, radiating a peculiar power. He reached out, grasped the hilt, and wrenched it free.

Afterward.

Ethereal blue text appeared in his vision.

[Breaking Technique, Spiritual Power Suppression, Law Correction... Due to the broadsword’s unique properties, Sipia named it: Wizard Slayer. Like a natural predator of Wizards, Sipia used this broadsword to execute many powerful Wizards.]

[A Mechanical Sage once theorized this was a Furnace Cast Holy Artifact unearthed from an Ancient Armory. Sipia believed so as well, and used it as such. But is that truly the case?]

[You can sense this weapon has a will of its own. Now, as you grip the hilt, you can distinctly feel an emotion: anger. It seems Sipia’s irresponsible actions have provoked it.]
