My Lust System: I Inherited The Sin Of Lust And His Three Wives

Clara and Linda stood frozen where they had landed, their eyes darting frantically across the enormous living room. Floor to ceiling glass walls overlooked the endless ocean while luxurious furnishings occupied a space far larger than most houses they had ever entered.

Their eyes eventually settled on Damian, who sat comfortably upon the massive couch with one leg crossed over the other. Rin rested lazily across his lap while Damian absentmindedly stroked the fox’s silver fur as though nothing unusual had happened.

Neither woman spoke immediately.

The man before them looked nothing like the Damian they remembered. He was impossibly tall. His body possessed an overwhelming presence that made the entire room seem smaller around him. His gray eyes occasionally shimmered with traces of violet while every movement carried an effortless confidence that no ordinary human could imitate.

He looked less like a man and more like something wearing the shape of one. Yet strangely neither of them could deny what crossed their minds.

He was even more attractive than before.

”You were always the Sin of Lust...” Linda gasped, raising a trembling hand to cover her lips. ”It was really you...”

Memories flashed through her mind.

Corbin insisting over and over that Damian was hiding something. Corbin arranging one investigation after another.

Even considering abandoning the shot Damian because of this suspicion and testing him repeatedly after the incident, just to prove Damian was the Prince of Lust but he always failed.

She had dismissed every accusation and even believed Corbin had become obsessed. Now she realized Corbin had been right all along.

”Who else on this planet is worthy to take that position?” Damian asked calmly as he leaned farther into the couch and raised an eyebrow.

Linda instinctively stumbled backward.

Almost immediately she grabbed the cross hanging from her neck and raised it toward him with shaking hands. Her breathing became uneven as she waited for some reaction.

Nothing happened.

Damian simply watched her with an amused smile that only made her fear deepen. What angel in its right mind would visit the home of the sin of lust all because of a mere human?

”How many of your angels have I killed already?”

The words struck harder than any threat.

Linda slowly lowered the cross. She finally understood if this truly was the man responsible for all the crazy but amazing battles she had wtinessed and even participated in, then struggling here was meaningless.

Her gaze drifted toward the entrance where the Blood Dunes members had been dragged away only moments earlier. The distant splashes from the ocean still echoed faintly in her ears.

”What do you want?” Linda finally asked, forcing the words past her dry throat.

Damian’s expression remained calm and he casually lifted one finger. It pointed directly at Clara.

”I came to get my woman.” His voice remained steady, but every word grew colder than the last. ”The one you people dragged into the dangerous world of demons and angels.”

Clara immediately stepped in front of Linda without hesitation, shielding her with her own body.

Damian noticed and the coldness in his expression eased ever so slightly.

”They helped me get over you,” Clara said quickly, refusing to back away despite the enormous difference in their strength.

Damian slowly uncrossed his legs and rose from the couch.

Every step toward her echoed softly across the polished floor until he finally stopped only a few inches away.

Clara had to raise her head almost completely to meet his eyes and then she watched him change.

His pupils slowly divided into three vertical slits. Three enormous pairs of black angelic wings unfolded from his back, spreading outward until they surrounded both of them like a living cage. The edges of his lips stretched unnaturally farther across his cheeks before splitting wider, revealing row after row of razor sharp teeth rapidly emerging from his gums.

The transformation was silent and that silence frightened Clara far more than any roar could have. Neither she nor Linda dared move. Neither even noticed themselves holding their breath.

”I’ll wipe every memory of me and the church from your mind.” Damian’s voice became layered with another far deeper voice that sounded ancient, monstrous and utterly devoid of emotion. ”I’ll have you employed at White Pegasus Firm. My people will look after you. You’ll fall in love. You’ll have children. You’ll laugh again. You’ll grow old peacefully. That is what I can and will give you.”

His gaze shifted beyond Clara and it settled upon Linda.

”As for you...”

Linda instinctively stiffened.

”I’ll collect every memory concerning the location of the Order of Solomon.” His expression never changed. ”Then I’ll slaughter every member of that order, including you, and bring the cult to an end.”

Both women turned deathly pale.

Clara reacted first.

She stepped fully in front of Linda and raised both hands desperately.

”No! You can’t do that! They’re the good guys!”

Damian’s expression darkened.

”What do you know about angels and demons?” he hissed.

Clara’s confidence vanished immediately. She could not sense hatred from him and that was what terrified her most.

It wasn’t that he hated them, he just believed they should be dead and that makes it okay. He spoke of killing people with the same calmness another man might discuss tomorrow’s weather.

Without warning Damian casually flicked one hand. An invisible force struck Clara. She was lifted clean off her feet before drifting backward through the air until strong arms gently caught her.

It was Hazel.

Clara looked up instinctively. The beautiful woman’s usual warmth had vanished completely. A cold gleam rested within her crimson eyes.

”You’ve already put my darling through enough,” Hazel growled, her voice carrying unmistakable hostility. ”Even after everything, he still crossed continents to protect you. Be quiet... and be grateful.”

Hazel stopped speaking immediately she felt Damian’s gaze settle upon her.

She looked toward him to meet his slight frown and without another word she loosened her grip, allowing Clara to stand on her own.

Thud.

Thud.

Thud.

The sound of footsteps drew everyone’s attention toward the staircase. Racheal, Ruby and Rah slowly descended together. Their gazes remained fixed squarely upon Linda and Clara.

The atmosphere inside the mansion instantly became suffocating. Only then did Clara and Linda finally understand where they truly were.
