My Lust System: I Inherited The Sin Of Lust And His Three Wives

Ruby clenched her fists so tightly her knuckles turned pale. Every instinct in her body screamed at her to pounce across the room and give Rah a piece of her mind. The only thing stopping her was the composure displayed by Hazel and Racheal. They were just as furious as she was, perhaps even more, yet neither of them made a move. That alone was enough to force Ruby to remain seated.

”If you think my darling would choose a nobody over the women who stood beside him from the very beginning, then you may as well declare yourself insane.” Hazel sneered disdainfully, her golden eyes narrowing into dangerous slits.

Her words were met with mocking laughter.

Rah threw her head back and laughed openly. The sound echoed through the room like a challenge. When she looked back at them, her fangs were fully exposed and her crimson eyes glittered with amusement.

”You are either living in denial or you’ve mastered the art of lying to yourselves.”

The words landed heavily.

Hazel’s jaw tightened.

Ruby abruptly rose from the couch, only to stop when she noticed Racheal raising a hand. She was about to protest until she met the cold and vicious gleam hidden within Racheal’s eyes. The look alone was enough to cool her anger slightly.

”And what makes you think our darling would ever abandon us for you?” Racheal asked coldly.

Rah’s smile widened.

”You aren’t his permanent mating partners, correct?”

The atmosphere instantly grew heavier. Hazel, Ruby and Racheal all remained silent.

That silence was all the confirmation Rah needed. The grin on her face widened further.

”I haven’t been here long, but I’ve seen enough.” She slowly rose to her feet and straightened her back while glaring at the three demigods with open hostility. ”You can’t control him.”

Her gaze swept across them one by one.

”So I will.”

The declaration caused all three women to frown. Rah took another step forward.

”I will achieve what the three of you failed to achieve. I will become his woman. The kind he has always wanted.”

Her eyes burned with determination.

”And believe me when I say this, the three of you will pay for everything you’ve done.”

Hatred practically dripped from her voice.

Racheal remained silent for several seconds before a small smile appeared on her face. She leaned back against the bed and crossed her legs casually.

”If you think my darling is some weak-minded fool that anyone can manipulate, then you’re in for a very unpleasant surprise.”

Her confidence never wavered.

If the conversation had been about Clara, things would have been entirely different. Everyone knew Damian loved Clara. Nobody questioned that.

Rah, however, was different.

She was a demon. One that had attempted to assassinate him. If Rah genuinely believed spending a night with Damian was enough to make him forget all of that, then she understood far less about him than she believed.

The two women stared at each other without backing down. Neither lowered their gaze or looked uncertain.

Racheal was absolutely convinced it would take far more than attraction for Rah to earn Damian’s trust. Rah was equally convinced she had an opportunity.

After all, the fractures within Damian’s relationship with his wives were visible to anyone paying attention.

Neither side intended to yield.

Meanwhile...

Damian suddenly sneezed.

The sound echoed awkwardly through the middle of a battlefield. He rubbed his nose and frowned.

”I think somebody is talking about me.”

Unfortunately, he had no time to dwell on the feeling. His attention shifted back to his surroundings. The battlefield had transformed completely.

In their place stood an endless desert stretching beyond the horizon. Golden dunes rose and fell beneath violent winds while countless grains of sand drifted through the air like a living storm.

Apart from dealing with one hundred versions of Bachi, the real problem remained Mudhhib.

Now that the Desert Domain had fully formed, Mudhhib’s presence existed everywhere. Damian could feel him within every grain of sand. Every gust of wind. Every shifting dune.

It was to the point that Damian refused to stand directly on the desert floor.

The sensation was unsettling.

For perhaps the first time since entering the battlefield, he genuinely felt surrounded.

Watched from every direction simultaneously. Of course, that still wasn’t enough to shake him.

”Many demigods have fallen to the duo you are about to face. Do not become disheartened by your defeat.”

All one hundred Bachi clones spoke simultaneously. The synchronized voices rolled across the desert like thunder.

Damian rolled his eyes so hard it almost hurt.

”If you spent half as much energy trying to kill me as you do talking, I probably would’ve died three times already.”

The insult landed immediately.

Bachi’s clones froze. Damian wasn’t even trying to be clever anymore.

The bastard genuinely annoyed him. He had never met a demon who talked this much while accomplishing so little.

It was honestly impressive.

”Hold on first.”

Damian raised a hand.

To everyone’s surprise, the howling winds slowed. The approaching clones halted. Even the sandstorm itself seemed to hesitate.

Mudhhib’s face slowly emerged from the drifting sands overhead. His expression carried equal parts confusion and suspicion.

Even Bachi stopped advancing.

”What?”

Damian pointed directly at him.

”What the fuck can your bitch-ass race actually do?”

Silence.

Mudhhib blinked and the clones blinked. Even the storm seemed confused.

Damian continued before anyone could answer.

”He’s got sand.”

He pointed toward Mudhhib.

”Jugra’s got lava.”

Another finger.

”The Oni dude was honestly kinda terrifying.”

A third finger.

Then he pointed directly at Bachi.

”So what exactly can you do besides create weak-ass clones?”

The desert became completely silent. Bachi stared at him and Damian stared back.

Several seconds passed. Then something remarkable happened. Bachi’s expression shifted rapidly

First was confusion, then anger and finally embarrassment. He opened his mouth, then closed it, opened it again and then closed it once more.

”Errm...”

Damian immediately pointed at him.

”Talk, motherfucker!”

The shout echoed across the domain.

”You’ve been talking nonstop this entire fight. Where the fuck did your confidence go?”

All one hundred Bachi clones immediately turned their faces away. The synchronized embarrassment somehow made the situation even worse.

Mudhhib actually had to bite down on the inside of his cheek.

He wasn’t sure whether to be furious on behalf of his ally or laugh.

Because if he was being honest... Damian had a point.

”My powers are amazing.”

Bachi finally spoke. His voice was significantly quieter.

”They just don’t work very well against Princes.”

Damian immediately cupped a hand around his ear.

”Speak up, bastard!”

The hundred clones visibly wilted. Mudhhib stared at the scene with an expression so conflicted it bordered on painful.

Part of him wanted to kill Damian immediately.

The other part desperately wanted to hear where this conversation was going. Because in all the centuries he had known Bachi, he had never once seen the Rakshasa look this embarrassed.

”Enough! I won’t allow this slander to continue!”

Mudhhib’s voice boomed across the desert domain. Yet the expression on his face made it difficult to determine whether he was genuinely offended or simply trying and failing to suppress his amusement.

Bachi immediately turned toward him with a murderous glare.

He could tell the bastard was enjoying this. Perhaps not entirely, but enough to make it infuriating. Mudhhib was only speaking up because he felt obligated to.

”I’ll kill you!”

All one hundred Bachi clones pointed toward Damian simultaneously. Their voices merged into a single furious roar that echoed across the desert.

Damian merely raised an eyebrow.

”With what?”

The question landed like a slap.

”The same abilities you just admitted don’t work on me?”

His expression twisted into open disdain.

”You are full of shit.”

The desert fell silent for a fraction of a second. Then it exploded.

Bang!

Several Bachi clones shot forward simultaneously. Their movements blurred as they charged from every direction. Some attacked from the front. Others circled around the sides. Several leapt into the sky while more emerged from the swirling sand beneath.

The coordinated assault looked impressive.

Damian’s reaction was not.

”Ooh.”

He glanced around lazily.

”Here comes the mid swarm.”

A loud burst of laughter erupted somewhere within the desert. Even Mudhhib couldn’t hold it in anymore.

The Sand Lord quickly coughed afterward and forced his expression back into something resembling seriousness.

Unfortunately, the damage had already been done. Several Bachi clones nearly stumbled mid-charge.

Damian didn’t even bother watching them.

”Soul Lantern.”

His fan moved.

The motion appeared simple but the result was not.

Swoooooosh!

A tornado of azure flames erupted outward.

The fire exploded from Damian’s position like a tidal wave released from its restraints. Blue flames spiraled violently toward the heavens while countless tongues of ghostly fire spread across the battlefield.

The surrounding temperature did not rise.

Instead it fell. The air became unnaturally cold. Every demigod present immediately felt it. The flames did not target flesh, they targeted souls.

Standing amidst the raging inferno, Damian calmly observed the battlefield while azure light reflected across his face.

Unlike Samsara Fire, soul Fire was troublesome in a completely different way. Elemental counters offered little protection. Defensive spells provided limited value. Most importantly, escaping it required something far rarer than strength.

It required a soul capable of enduring direct assault.

Swoosh!

All one hundred Bachi clones halted simultaneously. Not one took another step. Their eyes remained locked onto the sea of blue flames. Even Mudhhib abandoned his relaxed posture.

His body reformed beside the halted clones while he stared at the barrier with a deep frown.

The desert winds continued howling around them but the soul Fire also continued expanding.

Neither side moved.

”Soul Fire at this quantity will be difficult to break through.”

Mudhhib’s voice carried genuine concern and Bachi frowned deeply.

”That bastard probably knows.”

His gaze narrowed.

”The question is why he’s hiding inside it.”

Mudhhib folded his arms.

”To buy time, obviously.”

The answer sounded logical yet Bachi’s expression only darkened further.

”Time for what exactly?”

The question lingered. Even Mudhhib found himself frowning because that was the real problem.

Time only mattered when there was something worth preparing.

Meanwhile...

Deep within the sea of azure fire, Damian sat cross-legged in midair. The raging flames illuminated his face from every direction.

His robes fluttered gently despite the absence of wind. His expression remained calm while the hand fan in his grasp moved continuously.

Each swing unleashed another torrent of Soul Fire. Each wave merged with the inferno surrounding him.

The sea of azure flames continued growing larger, denser and more concentrated.

Hmph!

Damian snorted disdainfully and his fingers formed a seal. Instantly the surrounding flames responded.

The endless ocean of Soul Fire shuddered, twisted and compressed. The raging inferno began folding inward upon itself.

The vast sea of blue fire condensed rapidlyz layer after layer folded inward and the flames thickened, solidified and reinforced themselves repeatedly.

Soon a colossal cube of azure fire surrounded Damian from every direction. Its walls burned silently while countless runic patterns flickered beneath the surface.

The entire construct radiated a pressure that made even distant observers uncomfortable.

Outside the cube, Bachi and Mudhhib watched carefully. The sight before them felt wrong.

As far as their understanding went, the previous Sin of Lust had never possessed anything that required preparation time.

Lin Qui certainly never required preparation time for any ability wnd that realization unsettled both of them far more than they cared to admit.

Within the burning cube, Damian slowly opened his eyes. The three pupils within each eye rotated quietly and a faint smile appeared on his lips.
