Chapter 540: Chapter 211: Innate Qi, Cleansing the Flesh! (Part 2)

”Moreover, with this experience, it won’t be so difficult to obtain beast milk in the future.”

After saying this, he began to wash his body.

Third day.

Before dawn, Xu Ran was already cleansing his body.

Just like before, the entire left leg gathered Spiritual Qi, transforming it into Innate Qi. This left leg converted Innate Qi was even thicker than when it first merged into the Red Gold Root Bone.

”The left leg is done. Next is the right leg.”

Time passed quickly.

Ten days had gone by.

During this ten days, Xu Ran completed the cleansing of his four limbs. Now, four strands of Innate Qi, as thick as limbs, were gathering at Xu Ran’s four limbs.

”After the limbs, it’s the five viscera.”

The five viscera are: heart, liver, spleen, lungs, kidneys.

They correspond to the Five Elements: fire, wood, earth, metal, water.

Regardless of Five Elements or five viscera, they are extremely important for the entire human body.

Similarly, the cleansing of the five viscera requires a strong Spirit.

After all, these are human internal organs. If something goes wrong during the cleansing process, serious issues will arise in the entire body.

So, this time, there’s no room for error.

The first to be cleansed is the kidneys.

Kidneys belong to water, harmonizing everything, nurturing everything.

Xu Ran places great importance on cleansing this first internal organ. A good start means subsequent processes can proceed smoothly.

Moreover, there’s only twenty days left. If the kidney cleansing doesn’t go smoothly, time might run out.

”Fortunately, during these ten days, there’s beast milk to drink every day, which greatly increases the success rate.”

During these ten days, Xu Binghu brought back beast milk daily. Although sometimes more, sometimes less, it always met the daily demand.

Xu Ran calmed his mind, carefully feeling the three thick strands of Innate Qi gathered in his limbs, then entered into a mystical state.

Under his careful compression, the Innate Qi in the limbs condensed to the size of hair strands, advancing steadily toward the kidneys through previously unblocked meridians.

Now Xu Ran’s control over Innate Qi had become excellent, especially since the meridians had expanded quite a bit.

It took a full half day for the Qi to reach the front of the kidneys the first time he performed this task.

Xu Ran opened his eyes, his large eyeballs rotating around, finding no one in sight, and exhaled a long breath.

”Take half a day just to push Innate Qi to the front of the kidneys. It’s really no small feat!”

This half day’s work exhausted Xu Ran’s entire strength, needing a good rest before continuing.

Among the things that most attract an adult’s attention when it comes to children, it’s simple: cries. This trick has been used countless times in the past ten days.

Xu Ran opened his mouth, activating his infantile proactive skill, crying.

”Wah wah wah～～～”

The sharp cries rang out, causing Lian Ji to promptly come to the bedside, holding a bag of beast milk, and happily saying.

”Little Ran, are you hungry again? Beast milk is here, don’t cry, don’t cry～”

Saying this, Lian Ji picked up Xu Ran and brought the beast milk to his lips.

”Suck suck suck～”

In three swift moves, Xu Ran finished drinking an entire bag of beast milk, showing a satisfied smile.

Seeing this, Lian Ji laughed, ”Alright, now that the beast milk is finished, it’s time to sleep.”

Placing Xu Ran back in bed, she added, ”The midwife says the more a child sleeps, the better. But in Xu Ran’s case, he’s always asleep when not drinking milk, surely he will be a genius later.”

This is because Xu Ran is always sleeping, not a concern for her.

When Xu Ran cleansed himself, his eyes were closed, appearing as if he’s asleep, so she thought he was merely sleeping.

After eating and drinking, with beast milk replenished, Xu Ran’s body regained a full posture, continuing the kidney cleansing.

The hair-like Innate Qi paused before the kidneys, and with one more step, it would fully enter.

Xu Ran controlled the Innate Qi, ”Ding～”, smoothly entering, not as difficult as imagined.

But in the next moment, a suffocating feeling swept through Xu Ran’s body, as if drowning, unable to breathe, the body felt heavy.

”This is the difficulty encountered when cleansing kidneys.”

Though the body was extremely uncomfortable, Xu Ran’s mind remained clear, methodically controlling the hair-like Innate Qi to cleanse within the kidneys.

Sweat permeated outward from Xu Ran’s body, dripping bit by bit, but strangely, it did not wet the bed.

Fortunately, Lian Ji was not in the room, otherwise seeing this scene, who knows how terrified she might be.

Soon, half a day passed, and Xu Ran’s body had been under the torture of a drowning sensation, though not lethal, but the kidney cleansing progress reached one-tenth in half a day’s time.

Night.

Xu Binghu returned with beast milk.

On him, there was also a plump rabbit.

Returning home, the first thing he did was hand over the beast milk and rabbit to Lian Ji, then went to see Xu Ran quietly lying on the bed.

At this time, Xu Ran had withdrawn from the kidney cleansing state; he couldn’t keep pretending to sleep.

Scratch left armpit, scratch right armpit, Xu Ran reacted, his silver-bell laughter filled the room, Xu Binghu smiled with great satisfaction.

”Little Ran has grown so much in just ten days, truly a young man of Xu Family!” Xu Binghu lifted his son high, laughing.

During the previous ten days, as Xu Ran cleansed his limbs with Innate Qi, his body grew alongside, faster than ordinary infants, now comparable to a six-month-old infant.

Xu Ran seemed to understand, ”Giggle giggle”, even though he understood from the start.

After a simple supper and Xu Ran had beast milk, the family went to sleep.

A night without words.

Xu Ran awoke early, immediately beginning to control Innate Qi to cleanse the kidneys; the first day only reached one-tenth progress, truly too slow, needing to accelerate.

As he entered the state, the drowning sensation swept across again instantly, both body and Spirit as if under the weight of a thousand pounds, unable to breathe.

Though yesterday had lasted for half a day, it still felt very uncomfortable, only slightly better than yesterday.

Shortly after Xu Ran entered the state, Xu Binghu went out and Lian Ji awakened.

Soon, a day passed.

Xu Ran opened his eyes, they spun around, his face showed delight.

Today’s work allowed him to complete half the progress directly, much faster than the first day.

”With the adaptation from the first day, progress indeed accelerated.”

Xu Ran thought to himself.

With this pace, the kidney cleansing could complete by tomorrow, three days for one organ, fifteen days for five organs, within a month, still feasible though slightly rushed.

In the following thirteen days, Xu Ran diligently cleansed the five viscera, each one enduring unspeakable torment.

Kidneys, helpless drowning in deep sea.

Lungs, metal’s grim killing coldness.

Spleen, oppression of a thousand pounds.

Liver, chaotic imbalance of life.

Heart, burning pain of myriad fires.

Over these fifteen days, Xu Ran endured five types of pain, but fortunately, the result was positive; the cleansing of the five viscera was completed.

At the moment of heart cleansing completion, five warm currents rose from the viscera, slowly flowing throughout the body, the Innate Qi in the limbs was stirred, rushing toward the viscera for another cleanse.

Under the protection of the five warm currents, the viscera received no damage, instead, generating Innate Qi, forming vortexes.

”This is the feeling of completing the viscera cleansing!”

A sensation of comfort swept through his body.

”Never before such a wondrous beginning! Next, only the brain remains.”

With the experience from thirty-five days, now Xu Ran was immensely confident, even with something as complex as the brain, he had no worry.

”At this moment, my old dad should be back soon, it’s also time for beast milk.”
