The Golem Mage

Ignis started walking towards the Blades Clansmen’s , but a space portal opened up behind him.

And before he could turn his back to check just who tried to sneak attack him, he felt a sharp pain in his back as a black blade stabbed him.

His eyes closed almost immediately as the person responsible for the attack stepped out from the portal.

The other members of the Blades clansmen were shocked when they saw the person who had stabbed Ignis.

”How are you still standing?, I thought he killed you, Isn’t that your body over there?” Blade 1 with his Great sword pointed to the burnt body, that had been unable to defend itself against Ignis’s powerful AOE spell from earlier.

”I am still standing because that was just one of my unique clones, When the clone died, I gained all its memories, so I came to save you all because this Mage is someone you could never defeat, He would have killed all of you,” the person explained.

Robert Lanzt, trying to take charge of the situation, said,

”Let’s escape while we still have a chance!”

He attempted to drag the Blade 1 into another portal using a rune stone.

However, Blade 1 pulled his hand away and confronted Fridall’s elder with determination in his eyes.

”Why should we run when he is already immobilized?, Let’s kill him now and eliminate any future troubles,” Blade 1 questioned.

”You’re an idiot, and I often wonder how clueless members of the Ancient clans have survived in a world filled with chaos till now. the blade I used to hold him can only hold him for one hour,” Robert Lanzt responded.

”If you move to kill him or even make a move on him, he will be brought back from the dream world, the blade had put him too, Mind you, I saved that Artifact in case the old man from the Gordons clan ever finds my real body. But now, I had to use it to save your asses,”

Robert Lanzt said sternly, making it clear that he wouldn’t tolerate any further disagreement.

”We didn’t ask for your help anyway,” one of the Blade clansmen with a curved blade retorted, only to be struck by Blade 1 for his insolence.

”Do you think I would even bother with your life if you weren’t descendants of the Ancient Blade clan?, I even came in my true form. You better not make me regret my choices now, as nothing is more precious than my life,”

Robert Lantz said in anger, before dashing into the portal that was losing its powers.

The four Blade clansmen looked at Ignis, still with his eyes closed as if he had fallen asleep.

They gritted their teeth in anger, knowing they were no match for Ignis even though they were all in the same Tier 8 realm, and they had Spirit Equipments.

Not only was he at the peak of Tier 8, but his variant flame magic made him a monster in human form.

Without wasting any more time, they all dashed into the portal as it died down the moment Blade 1 entered last.

The Orc chief, whose name Alec finally found out to be Thrall, seemed to have not reached a satisfactory agreement with the shameless Root, who had been relentless in claiming that Alec belonged to him.

Just as they were arguing, Agnes whispered to Alec,

”Hey Alec, we’ve gathered all the power crystals.”

Alec looked back and saw Arthur with a devious grin as he threw the sack to Alec.

Alec quickly sent mana into his space ring, causing a wave of energy to surround the sack in the air before it vanished into the space ring.

”How do you feel now? Ready to go another round?” Alec asked.

”You know me too well, Alec!” Arthur said, punching his fists together.

Though the rest of the group didn’t say a word, they all got into their fighting stances.

When Pale and the others saw them looking prepared, they drew closer so they wouldn’t get lost again in whatever the Gordons clansmen might try do.

”Why don’t you all take a chill pill?, I’m still standing here, you know, and I’m not something you can just bid on based on power before you decide who gets the ”product”,”

Alec said, showing a display of bravado.

”How dare you! I shall kill you!”

Thrall said, urging his wolf mount forward as he swung his axe with utmost accuracy. Along with the swing came a huge force that seemed to part the wind and create waves.

”No, he is mine for the killing,” the Root added, dashing forward with a huge black wooden axe that seems to matched the shape of Thrall’s own. Enjoy new chapters from NovelFire.Côm

The two of them were close to Alec when another Tier 4 aura emerged and clashed with their own, stopping there attacks in place.

”He belongs to meeee! He is my prey,” a feminine voice sounded, commanding.

The elemental egg that was wrapped around the Hyena Matriarch broke into various pieces and assimilated into its body, forming elemental runes that etched into her new fur.

She groaned as the runes disappeared into her body, as Alec’s mouth hung open as he looked at the Hyena before him.

It was now five times larger than before, and its brown spotted fur had greatly changed.

It now had light green fur with purple spots, and a long line of purple from its head, through the spine, straight to the waist.

”Who knew hyenas could look beautiful after a breakthrough?, Oh, what am I saying? You are even capable of speech now!, and that is the most crazy thing” Alec blurted out.

”Well, that’s thanks to you. You brought humans that acted as an elemental force to me. That way, I was able to awaken speech fast and easily due to their hearts,”

The Hyena Matriarch said calmly, making Alec doubt if she was the same cunning and savage hyena who had outsmarted him and didn’t hesitate to sacrifice her pack for her evolution.

”Why the hell is a mere beast trying to block the target of the Orc race?, It seems you want to die,” Thrall said, his words chilling to those who heard them.

”Where the hell do you think you are, Orc? You are in the Savannah, and we hyenas are the true kings of the Savannah. Our laughter echoes in the night, revealing untamed chaos and cunning intellect. And you dare to challenge our rule in our kingdom. You’re dead! ,”

The Matriarch said before letting out a wide laughter that echoed through the forest.

The Root and the Orc kept their weapons close to Alec’s neck, waiting to see the Hyena Matriarch’s grand plan.

As various types of Tier 3 hyenas started emerging, one by one at first, then later in packs, spotted hyena packs, stripped Hyena packs and so on.

At this moment, even Alec knew he was screwed, as the Hyena, who seemed to have transcended to the Mid Rank realm, gained total control over the Tier 3 hyena pack,

While the different male hyena leaders attempted to showcase their strength by making small moves towards her.

Alec could even feel a sense of danger from one particular hyena with a one closed eye, eyeing him.

”Fuck this, Code Zero!” Alec shouted as he ducked the two weapons coming towards him and dashed towards both the Orcs and the Root.

This slight movement caused a big disruption as the three groups faced chaos and ran after each other.

”What is Code Zero?” Pale, who turned to ask the mage beside him, was shocked to see every Gordons clansman run in different directions, and even Alec had unsummoned his golems,

And summoning a robotic one instead, This robotic golem happened to be Legion, who sent out waves of escape routes for them as they ran in the hope of meeting up later.

”Code Zero is for running! Move your ass, idiota!” Brandon shouted as Pale’s group finally woke up and joined the rest of the group.

They had thought Alec wanted to fight until the end, but he had run at the first sight of danger, and the problem was his legs were ridiculously fast.

”Alec Gordons, I’m going to kill you,” Pale muttered in fright, realizing that even the Root was running right beside him.
