Cultivation Simulator: Starting From The Empress' Palace

Chen Mo hurriedly activated the Ancient Heavy Pupils, and immediately, his deep eyes were enveloped by a strand of golden light, making the underwater scene extremely clear. Chen Ye, who witnessed this, couldn’t help but have his pupils slightly contract.

The depth of the black hole was such that even Chen Mo, with the Ancient Heavy Pupils activated, couldn’t see the full extent; he only knew there was a large space inside.

”Let’s go.” Chen Mo pointed with his finger, indicating for Chen Ye to go first.

Chen Ye puffed up his cheeks and quickly shook his head.

The unknown danger is the most terrifying; not knowing where the black hole leads, how could Chen Ye dare to venture his body into danger?

However, with Chen Mo waving the Black Sword, Chen Ye had no choice but to comply and was the first to swim into the black hole, with Chen Mo close behind.

After entering the black hole for a short while, Chen Mo found himself starting to swim upwards. After less than a few minutes of swimming, he noticed a faint light above and gestured for Chen Ye to swim towards it.

Quickly, they emerged from the water and, looking around, both were stunned. Embedded in the surrounding stone walls were Luminous Pearls, each emitting a faint blue light, roughly the size of a baby’s fist.

This handiwork was immense, having hollowed out the interior of the mountain on this island, with the underwater black hole being the only way to enter here.

”Prince Zhen Nan, look over there.” Chen Ye pointed ahead, somewhat excited: ”Is that... is that the Nan Zhou Treasure?”

Upon hearing this, Chen Mo looked and found that a pool of water blocked the path ahead. At the end of the pool was a heavy stone door with four grooves on it, faintly resembling the shape of the Red Sun Bell.

What surprised Chen Mo was the figure sitting quietly before the stone door, shrouded in a black robe that had accumulated a layer of dust, seemingly having arrived here a long time ago.

That figure was in a shadowy spot, not illuminated by the light of the Luminous Pearls. Chen Ye didn’t notice at first, but once he did, he was startled and shivered: ”Prince... Prince Zhen Nan, there’s...someone.”

”Just a dead person.” Chen Mo sensed no aura from the sitting figure, not even a trace of life, evidently dead for a long time.

This must undoubtedly be the location of the Nan Zhou Treasure.

”Don’t move around. I’ll go call them.”

After confirming it was here, Chen Mo prepared to retrace his steps to call Xin’Er and the others.

After taking a few steps and still feeling uneasy, he knocked Chen Ye unconscious and placed him aside, just in case while he was away, Chen Ye triggered any traps inside here by moving around.

...

”You bold thief, I am the legitimate daughter of the Wu Family, a consort of Prince Zhen Nan. Do you dare to touch me? Aren’t you afraid Prince Zhen Nan will bring soldiers to annihilate your entire clan?”

As Chen Mo surfaced, he heard Xin’Er’s harsh shout from above, along with the sounds of fighting.

Chen Mo’s expression slightly changed. It was not a good place to fight up there, so he quickly shouted upward: ”It’s just down here, come down quickly.”

Old He, who was engaged in battle, heard Chen Mo’s voice and sighed in relief, telling the young lady to quickly go down.

Wu Xin’Er did not hesitate. After securing the package with the Red Sun Bell, she jumped down immediately.

Chen Mo leaped out of the sea, caught her, and then urged Ruoqing and the others to quickly follow.

”You go ahead now, I’ll hold them off,” Old He said.

Jiang Ruoqing didn’t argue with him. After saying ”be careful,” she led Ji Xi’Er and jumped down.

”You go down first. There’s a black hole below. Swim straight ahead once you enter, and you’ll reach it.”

After a few words of instruction, once they submerged, Chen Mo looked up at Old He: ”Quickly come down.”

Without further hesitation, Old He evaded several attackers and jumped down.

A group of people rushed over to the cliff’s edge where Old He had jumped, and upon seeing Chen Mo below, they shouted loudly: ”Come over quickly, Prince Zhen Nan is here, the Nan Zhou Treasure is below.”

By the time Elder Tian Can arrived, Old He had already submerged, leaving only Chen Mo visible on the sea surface. Elder Tian Can shouted:

”Prince Zhen Nan, the Nan Zhou Treasure is for everyone who sees it. You alone cannot swallow it. We have many experts here. If everyone rushes in, even if your martial arts are outstanding, you absolutely aren’t our match. Perhaps we can sit down and talk.”

”Amitabha, Benefactor Liu An speaks rightly. Prince Zhen Nan, consider carefully,” Yuan Kong said with palms pressed together.

”A monk?” Chen Mo used True Qi to protect himself from the crashing waves.

”This humble monk is named Yuan Kong. Benefactor Chen, greetings,” Yuan Kong said with a kindly face.

”Yuan Kong?” Hearing this, Chen Mo’s eyes sharpened as he loudly asked: ”Yuan Kong from Yuan Mountain Temple? Is Abbot Fang Hui your mentor?”

”Amitabha, precisely,” Yuan Kong nodded.

Chen Mo’s expression brightened as he exclaimed, ”So it’s Yuan Kong, what a fortunate coincidence!”

When I was looking for him, I couldn’t find him, but now he has come right to my doorstep.

”The Nan Zhou Treasure is just below. Anyone brave enough, come on down.” Chen Mo glanced at Yuan Kong with his Ancient Heavy Pupils, memorized his face, and then dove into the water, leaving no trace above the crashing waves.

...

”What do we do now?” This place stood a hundred feet high, and some martial artists with lower skills became nervous.

”They’ve all gone down. The treasure entrance is surely down there. We can’t let them succeed first.”

Some who were blinded by the thought of treasure immediately jumped down, but he was unlucky. As he jumped, a wave hit, slamming him against the cliff wall, blood spilling on the spot.

Frightened, the crowd retreated several steps.

”In my opinion, let’s wait for them above. After all, they must return after obtaining the treasure,” someone suggested lying in wait.

”Makes sense.”

”Are you stupid? If there’s a Foundation Establishment Pill in the treasure, and once Prince Zhen Nan obtains and consumes it, breaking through to the Foundation Establishment Realm, we wouldn’t stand a chance even if we all go against him,” a man in black said.

This made Elder Tian Can and Yuan Kong wary, as indeed that would be the case.

”Cowards, with such little guts, you still dare to covet the Nan Zhou Treasure. Watch me go first,” a thin-faced man, confident in his skills, leapt forward, seizing the gap before the waves hit, but while mid-air, a Fire Chain shot out from the sea, piercing through the thin-faced man, blood spraying in the sky.

Elder Tian Can saw a figure appear in the water and realized Chen Mo hadn’t left, waiting for them to jump.

The crowd turned pale with fright.

Once he’d scared them off, Chen Mo retracted the Heaven-Burning Furnace and swam into the black hole.

After arriving, Chen Mo dried his wet clothes with True Qi and asked: ”Chen Ye’s friend... hmm, where’s Chen Ye?”

Chen Mo realized that Chen Ye, whom he had knocked unconscious and placed aside, was nowhere to be seen.

Wu Xin’Er and the others intended to ask the same. Hearing Chen Mo’s question, they immediately sensed something was amiss and began to stay alert.
