Cultivation Simulator: Starting From The Empress' Palace

Imperial Palace loomed tall and heavy, lanterns swayed inside the quiet, silently guarded by the Imperial Guard who changed shifts every hour.

Jingru Palace.

Consort Yu wasn’t particularly deeply asleep; in her drowsiness, she heard someone getting onto the bed and assumed it was Consort Jing, without feeling any surprise.

After all, in the entire Imperial Palace, besides the Emperor, no one else dared to climb onto the bed of a consort in the harem.

Soon, whispers of ”Wanqiu, Wanqiu” echoed in her ears, a voice so familiar. Yet, as drowsiness clouded her mind, she thought it was a dream, still sensing nothing amiss.

Until she felt her clothes being undone, her body being molested, and a sour ache spreading, did Consort Yu realize something was wrong.

She immediately opened her eyes to find a silhouette tightly embracing her from behind, his hand still resting on her chest without letting go.

Consort Yu’s body froze.

She dared not imagine the worst and called out, ”Sister Jing Fei?”

”Consort Yu?” came a surprised voice from behind.

Consort Yu’s face turned deathly pale in an instant.

The notorious palace intruder scandal filled her mind, making her scream in terror.

But as soon as she screamed, someone covered her mouth from behind, ”Don’t shout.”

”Chen Hong?!” Consort Yu’s eyes widened immediately. The voice was somewhat familiar, causing her body to struggle, and she uttered muffled sounds.

Of course, Chen Mo wouldn’t let her scream out, immediately holding her tightly to himself, restraining her.

”Lady Yu Fei, do you believe me if I say this is all a misunderstanding?” Chen Mo said.

Believe?

She didn’t believe it in the slightest.

Sneaking into the harem in the dead of night and getting on the bed, and that is a misunderstanding?

”Mmm, mmm...” Her body struggled frantically.

”If you don’t scream, I’ll remove my hand,” Chen Mo said.

Consort Yu nodded her head.

However, as soon as Chen Mo lifted his hand, Consort Yu screamed again.

Chen Mo had no choice but to cover her mouth again.

At this moment, Consort Yu seemed to recall something. Piecing together sounds she had heard before, she became certain that Chen Hong had come to meet Consort Jing in private.

Only because the room was dark, she had been mistaken for Consort Jing.

Shock filled Consort Yu’s eyes.

Consort Jing actually had a liaison with Chen Hong.

That was an illicit affair.

If His Majesty found out, it would be execution for their entire families.

While Consort Yu’s thoughts were in chaos, a voice suddenly whispered in her ear, ”Lady Yu Fei, I apologize.”

Just as Consort Yu was confused.

The sound of fabric tearing echoed, and Consort Yu quickly understood.

...

Upon realizing it wasn’t Ye Wanqiu, Chen Mo’s first thought was to leave.

But at that moment, he sensed the beauty in his arms awaken and call out for Sister Jing Fei.

Now, Chen Mo couldn’t leave.

If Consort Yu realized something was wrong later and made a scene, the consequences would be unimaginable.

Thus, Chen Mo had two options to resolve this situation.

One was to kill Consort Yu.

But after considering it, he gave up on the idea.

The Emperor’s consort dying without cause would certainly cause an uproar in the entire Imperial City.

So only one method remained.

That was to drag Consort Yu down with him.

If she lost her purity, she certainly wouldn’t dare to cause a scene.

After all, when the Emperor investigates, there would be no good outcome for her either.

Of course, Chen Mo only stripped off her clothes.

Then he lit the candle in the sleeping chamber.

As the light spread, Consort Yu’s white jade-like body was exposed before Chen Mo’s gaze.

At that moment, Chen Mo removed his hand, and Consort Yu indeed didn’t scream, her tear-streaked face and trembling body emitting an enraged tremor in her voice: ”Aren’t you afraid the Emperor will destroy your entire clan?”

”Precisely because I’m afraid, I had to do this.” Chen Mo pulled a blanket over Consort Yu, saying, ”Lady, I apologize; you must have guessed the relationship between Wanqiu and me, and you’re right.

Rest assured, I won’t actually do anything to you, but I want you to forget what happened tonight. If word spreads, I can’t guarantee that the details about how many moles are on your back won’t spread too...”

Hearing this, Consort Yu’s body trembled slightly, and after a moment’s silence, she suddenly burst into tears.

”Sister Yu, what’s wrong?”

Suddenly, Ye Wanqiu heard the crying, entering with a lantern.

When she saw Chen Mo and Consort Yu on the bed.

Her face turned pale, panic stirring within her heart.

The lantern fell from her hand, the candle inside overturning and flaring up.

Thankfully, Chen Mo quickly waved his hand, using True Qi to extinguish the flame, preventing a catastrophe.

”Chen Mo... Hong, why are you here? What did you do to Sister Yu?” Ye Wanqiu’s voice trembled.

Chen Mo did not hide anything, detailing what had happened.

Upon learning that Consort Yu knew of their affair, Ye Wanqiu’s legs weakened, and she collapsed to the ground.

Worried about her, Chen Mo hurriedly helped her up.

Consort Yu, with tears in her eyes, looked at the pair not far away, her thoughts in turmoil.

She definitely wouldn’t speak of tonight’s events.

Even if her clothes hadn’t been torn by Chen Mo, she wouldn’t mention it.

After all, he was her brother’s savior.

Yet, she no longer hated Consort Jing.

She wasn’t standing in her way.

There was no need to reveal such matters, as it would only create a scandal for herself too.

A thankless task.

Yet her clothes were torn, her purity ruined by Chen Mo, filling her with both anger and anxiety.

Moreover, Chen Mo had acted the villain earlier.

He hadn’t even comforted her.

Watching Chen Mo support Ye Wanqiu, Consort Yu’s anger surged, she coldly remarked, ”Chen Hong, how dare you come to the palace at night and secretly meet with a consort, and you, Consort Jing, you’re also a member of the concubines, yet you consort with a eunuch.”

Such matters were never meant to be public knowledge, and Ye Wanqiu naturally had no ground to rebuff her, only enduring Consort Yu’s reprimands.

But Chen Mo dared not endure.

Speaking about himself was one thing.

Speaking ill of his woman was where he drew the line.

Semi-threateningly, he said, ”Lady Yu Fei, I presume you don’t wish for tonight’s matter to storm the entire city, and since I can freely enter the Imperial Palace, you must understand my capabilities.

From now on, listen and behave; say whatever I tell you to say, do whatever I tell you to do.

Otherwise, Lady Yu Fei, you wouldn’t want to leave this world so young, and with your parents at an old age, they wouldn’t want to live in fear either.”

”Dare you?” Consort Yu’s eyebrows furrowed.

”If I dare to strip your clothes, what wouldn’t I dare to do?” Chen Mo intensified, continuing, ”Do you believe I’ll execute you on the spot right now?”

Consort Yu trembled, tears streaming anew.

Seeing the gravity of the situation, and looking at the man acting the villain, Consort Yu could only reluctantly nod tearfully.
