Reborn Divine Doctor: The Abandoned Girl's Legend

Chapter 413: Chapter 283: She’s the Only Woman for Me

”!!”

Empress Liu was stunned.

The Empress Dowager lost her voice.

Lord Ruyu was even more shocked, her beauty faded and her heart shattered instantly.

Heir Nie likes men!

Ye Huangyu’s lips were ruthlessly ravaged.

It took a good half a cup of tea’s time before Nie Fengxing released her.

”Empress Dowager, Empress, Lord Ruyu, you all saw clearly, the woman of my life, there’s only her.”

Having said this, Nie Fengxing dominantly pulled Ye Huangyu, not looking back once, and left Bai Feng Palace.

”Empress Dowager, Lord Ruyu will take her leave first.” With a sobbing tone, Lord Ruyu hurriedly spoke a sentence and then ran out filled with sorrow and anger.

”What nonsense, what exactly is going on? Fengxing, he actually with his deputy...”

The Empress Dowager covered her chest, appearing as if about to faint.

She was of an old age, her heart could not withstand such a shock.

Her dear grandson Nie Fengxing, actually likes men...

”Empress Dowager, please calm your anger. This is a misunderstanding, Vice General Ye... Ah, she is not a man... She is a genuine woman.” Empress Liu hadn’t expected things to escalate to this point.

Nie Fengxing’s audacity was too much.

This left her no chance even to cover the lie.

”A woman? Then how did she join the army? She dressed as a man and joined the army, what exactly were her intentions!” The Empress Dowager’s eyes instantly sharpened.

”Empress Dowager, Ye Huang did not have any ill intentions, actually, she is Princess Ye’s biological mother, she... she is also Hong Fang’s ex-wife.” Seeing that the truth could no longer be concealed, Empress Liu simply laid out the entire truth, including Ye Lingyue’s background.

The Empress Dowager listened, then stayed silent for a long while.

”Unexpectedly, there were so many complications involved. No wonder I felt that Ye Huangyu looked familiar; now thinking about it, she indeed bears some resemblance to Princess Ye. Both members of the Ye Family’s Mother and Daughter are pitiable.” The Empress Dowager, having listened, felt somewhat relieved, yet still looked worried. ”However, no matter what, they should not have been so bold to impersonate a minister’s daughter and dress as a man to enter the army; these are all crimes punishable by beheading.”

Fairly and empathetically, the Empress Dowager, being a woman herself, also sympathized with Ye Huangyu’s plight, but Ye Huangyu’s identity was truly unsuitable to be Nie Fengxing’s wife.

Otherwise, it would inevitably bring hostile opposition from Hong Residence and Guanwu Marquis Mansion.

Both of these noble houses are pillars of Daxia.

Merely based on this point, Ye Huangyu cannot be together with Nie Fengxing.

”Empress Dowager, the situation is not so simple, don’t forget, besides possibly being Daxia’s first female general, Ye Huangyu has another identity, she is Princess Ye’s mother, not just viewing the monk but seeing the Buddha. Today’s Princess Ye, is no longer the former Princess Ye.” Empress Liu spoke meaningfully.

The Empress Dowager was slightly startled, then understood the Empress’s implication.

No doubt, the Ye Lingyue of today is no longer that humble second daughter from the Lan Residence when she first arrived at Xia Capital.

Her control over Moon City, she is also one of the few in Daxia who, at the age of fourteen, challenged the Qing Province Elixir Ranking.

How could the Empress Dowager not know that anyone who makes it onto the Qing Province Elixir Ranking would inevitably attract the attention of the Three Sects and Nine Schools.

”Empress, I understand your concerns, but between Ye Lingyue and Hong Mingyue, who do you think is more likely to be the future safeguard of Daxia, especially since Hong Mingyue’s cultivation and fame both surpass Princess Ye by a notch, and she has the backing of Three-Life Valley?” the Empress Dowager worriedly said.

Speaking of which, Hong Fang really had fortune that was cultivated in his past life, being able to have such outstanding daughters.

It’s just a pity that all this was ruined by Hong Fang himself, leading to the current irreconcilable situation between Ye Lingyue and Hong Fang.

Yet even so, the Empress Dowager’s heart leaned more towards Hong Mingyue, who was more renowned and talented.

”Empress Dowager, between Hong Mingyue and Ye Lingyue, one is the Heavenly Pride, while the other is a discarded daughter of her family. Hong Mingyue’s talent is undeniable, but Ye Lingyue’s status today is also not by chance. In my opinion, it is too early to come to a conclusion,” Empress Liu felt more inclined towards Ye Lingyue.

In her eyes, even though Ye Lingyue could not become her adopted daughter, she truly liked her.

”What do you mean, Empress?” asked the Empress Dowager, puzzled.

”This matter requires further observation,” stated Empress Liu.

Outside Bai Feng Palace, Ye Huangyu was dragged by Nie Fengxing for quite a distance before she finally freed herself from his grasp.

”Have you lost your mind! To do such a thing in front of the Empress Dowager and the Empress...” Ye Huangyu thought back to that kiss from Nie Fengxing, her face flushed with heat.

”What did I do? I kissed my own wife, what’s wrong with that?” Nie Fengxing cocked his head, looking part ruffian, part Little Tyrant.

”Who is your wife. Nie Fengxing you liar, you never told me you are the son of Marquis Guanwu, nor did you mention you are His Majesty’s nephew.” When it came to being shameless, ten Ye Huangyus were no match for this Little Tyrant Nie Fengxing.

”I didn’t lie to you, did I? You never asked. Besides, what happens between us has nothing to do with His Majesty or that old undying man of my family. They’re not the ones getting a wife. Don’t worry, even without the identity of Heir Nie, I can still provide for you with my own hands,” Nie Fengxing said confidently

”I... am really infuriated by you. Let’s just end our affair here,” Ye Huangyu fumed.

”We’ve already kissed and slept together, how can you not marry me?” Nie Fengxing shamelessly grinned.

”Who slept with you? Nie Fengxing, if you continue to tarnish my reputation, I’ll complain to His Majesty.” Ye Huangyu was helpless against Nie Fengxing; merely being his close attendant, how his words twisted everything once spoken.

”Huanyu, I know you’re afraid of the rumors outside. But I am your man, and you are my woman. Whenever such issues arise, I will shield you. If others insult or defame you, I am here to seek justice for you. Promise me, no matter what, don’t give up on our feelings for each other. Remember, I’m here for everything,” Nie Fengxing softened his tone and spoke earnestly.

Ye Huangyu paused, nobody had ever said these words to her.

In this world, only Nie Fengxing would tell her that she is a woman.

Before departing, the words of her daughter Ye Lingyue still echoed in her ears.

”Mother, perhaps only Nie Fengxing will be so devoted to you in this lifetime. This time, do not let go no matter what. You must seize your own happiness. I will always support mother.”

Tears involuntarily rolled down her cheeks.

Ye Huangyu nodded firmly.

This time, she believed, she wouldn’t misjudge the person, because that person is Nie Fengxing.
