Reborn in the Eighties as a Housewife with a Space

Chapter 1931: Chapter 1925: Cannot Work From Home

”Mom and Dad have to go to work, so from now on, it will just be you and Xue Ling at home. So you have to listen to Xue Ling, okay?” Qin Xue didn’t expect her youngest son’s first words to be this.

Clearly, it was Qing Yuran who went to see Ye Xiao, but how did it become her abandoning the children?

”Can’t you work at home, Mom?” Yu Ze looked at his somewhat tired mother and felt worried for her.

”Yu Ze, that’s not possible. Mommy’s work is special, and we don’t have those tools and equipment at home, right? So, Mommy can’t work at home. Work is what Mommy chose and what Mommy has to do, because only in this way can Mommy help more people, don’t you agree?” Qin Xue tried to use the simplest language to explain to the children.

”We understand. You should take care of yourself, Mom.” Hearing this, the children all nodded in agreement.

”Then let’s make some food. Later, I’ll take Taotao to his mom’s place.” Qin Xue looked at the little one beside her. This time they hadn’t taken Jingtao to Fang Xiu yet. If they didn’t take him to her soon, who knows if she might come looking.

It was indeed because she was busy, otherwise, she should have taken the child over right away. But time passed with one delay after another, and the child was still at their house.

”Okay.” The children had no objections.

Although Jingtao had been staying with Qin Xue and the others, he was starting to miss his mom and brother. Hearing that he was going to see his mom, he was very excited.

”Do you want to eat rice or dumplings?” Qin Xue remembered Qing Zhu mentioning that she had made dumplings, so she asked the children.

”Mom, let’s have dumplings.” Yu Ze was the first to speak, because he was craving them.

”Alright, we’ll have dumplings. Be good and wait patiently, okay?” Qin Xue was also worried that the dumplings might spoil if left too long. Now that the children wanted to eat them, it was perfect.

”Okay.” Of course, the children wouldn’t refuse something to eat.

And Qin Xue’s cooking was really good. The children, listening to Qin Xue, obediently played in the yard, just waiting to eat the dumplings.

”Master, let’s dip and eat.” As Qin Xue turned around, Xue Ling suggested.

”Sure, we’ll dip and eat today.” Qin Xue had no strong opinion about it; it was simply a matter of preference for soup or not.

Qin Xue went to the kitchen, looked around, then closed the door and went straight into the space. Seeing the vegetables growing so well inside, she felt it was a pity. Clearly, she had so many good things, but couldn’t enjoy them because of guests. Now that there was no one around, she definitely wanted to take them out to eat.

Qin Xue picked a little bit of everything, but what she needed now was just cilantro, green onions, and greens.

Qin Xue wanted greens because she felt like cooking some green vegetable porridge to go with the dumplings; she was worried the children wouldn’t be full.

Qin Xue got out of the space, washed the rice, and set it to cook, then started preparing the other ingredients.

Once the porridge was boiling, Qin Xue began to cook the dumplings, scooping them out when they were done, and served them with the condiment on the table.

”Kids, go wash your hands. It’s time to eat.” Qin Xue called out to the children playing in the yard, then returned to the kitchen.

Because the porridge was still there, she checked the rice before mixing in the finely chopped greens evenly. A pot of fragrant vegetable porridge was ready.

When she came out again, there was a circle of people sitting around the table, surprisingly, Fang Xiu was there too.

”Qin Xue, long time no see.” Fang Xiu greeted her as soon as she arrived.

”Fang Xiu, long time no see. How have you been?” Qin Xue didn’t find it unusual; it was normal for a mother to come see her child.
