Please continue reading on ΒOXΝʘVEL.ϹΟM . Mrs. Xu looked at the three of them. She recognized the girl from the Chu family, but who was the other one? And what was going on with the child that the young mistress was holding? Mrs. Xu had many questions in her heart, but as the nanny of the Li family, she couldn’t ask. Even just now she had overstepped her bounds, but fortunately, the young mistress was kind-hearted and didn’t say anything. Now, she couldn’t really say anything about what she was seeing either.

“Young Mistress, let’s go back. The people at home are still out looking for you.” Mrs. Xu tried to reach out and take the child from An Hao’s arms.

“No need, I can hold him myself. Let’s go back then.” An Hao said with a somewhat downcast mood.

“Alright, I’ll go back first and tell them not to look anymore, or else the young master’s father might really call the police.” For the first time, Mrs. Xu saw someone so frantic just because they couldn’t find someone for half a day.

“Okay, you go ahead. We’ll be back soon.” An Hao glanced at Mrs. Xu and said.

After listening to An Hao’s words, Mrs. Xu quickly walked back home. She knew that even the military district had been searched, and some people had even gone outside.

“Qin Xue, I’m really annoyed.” After Mrs. Xu left, An Hao remained silent for a while before finally speaking to Qin Xue.

“What’s wrong?” Qin Xue asked gently. She had guessed from Mrs. Xu’s words just now part of the reason for An Hao’s unhappiness. But she had to listen to An Hao’s thoughts to be sure it was what she thought it was.

“You saw it just now; I feel like I have no freedom at all. I didn’t used to go out much, but I’ve never felt like this before. Now, I feel a sense of suffocation. I don’t know whether they’re worried about me or the child. You also saw it – I barely went out for a little while, and the household is like this. If I don’t go out at home, they want me to go out and walk more. But now that I’ve gone out, they’re in this kind of state.

I don’t know what to do. I only found out now that when they wanted me to go for a walk, it was just limited to the courtyard, not outside the courtyard. This makes me feel like a canary kept in a cage, only able to move in that small area of the cage, unable to fly outside the cage.” An Hao said, choking up a bit.

Upon hearing this, Qin Xue sighed, walked over, and gently put one hand around her shoulder while holding the things with her other hand: “An Hao, you can’t think like this. You should know that you are carrying two lives now. It’s normal for them to worry about you. They’re afraid that if something happens and they’re not by your side, what will you do on your own?

If something happened to the child, you wouldn’t be happy either, right? They love you, and they don’t want to limit your freedom. Actually, it wasn’t very good that you didn’t like to go out before. You should go out more and hang out with friends or go shopping instead of always staying at home. Now that you’re pregnant and staying at home, they’re afraid that after you give birth, you’ll have difficulties if you don’t move around – and that’ll be painful for you.

They want you to go for a walk but not to go outside the military compound. It’s because the military compound is familiar to you and to them. If anything happens, someone can come to help you after just one shout. But if you go outside, everyone is a stranger to each other, and who would you turn to if anything happens, right?

And they are doing this because they have their own jobs to attend to and can’t accompany you, but they still want the best for you. So, they can only do it this way. But you can’t think like that, right? You should think that they love you so much. They’re just worried about you even if they can’t see you for just a little while. Although it’s a bit stressful, it’s better than those who only have their jobs and themselves in their eyes and don’t care about you, right?

If they only loved the child and not you, they wouldn’t let you go out more. Instead, they would have you sit or sleep at home – that way, they wouldn’t have to worry about you getting hurt. Wouldn’t that be even better?” Qin Xue patiently comforted An Hao.
