Twin Treasures: The CEO Wife's 99-Day of Revelations

”I’m sorry, I didn’t mean to.” Abby Sawyer didn’t want to make a scene, she explained, ”It’s my own fault, this has nothing to do with Miss Angel.”

”I think it was Angel who ordered it!!” The actress flew into a rage, shouting in the dressing room, her voice rising, ”You were deliberately trying to stop me from wearing the most beautiful dress!”

Abby Sawyer knew she was in the wrong, but she didn’t expect her temper to be so bad, completely different from the sweet smile she had just given her when she asked for help.

”No.” Abby stood up straight, explaining again, ”Miss, I wasn’t careful, it’s my responsibility, but I’d like to make a point, I was bumped into hard at the dressing room door, she came at me so fast, if you want to investigate the responsibility, I suggest checking the surveillance at the door first to see what was going on, where that girl came from.”

And she ended up saying so much?!

The actress was a bit intimidated by her aura, her mind went blank for a moment.

Just then, Abby met her gaze and spoke again, ”If you clean it now, it definitely won’t make it in time, but if you pick another dress now, it will surely still be okay.”

”You...” The actress was so angry, she became incoherent, and directly raised her hand to slap Abby Sawyer hard across the face!

Slap—!

Abby couldn’t dodge in time, and a slap landed on her face!

The crisp sound of the slap drew the attention of many around, Abby Sawyer’s face turned to the side, a burning pain spreading from her cheek to her ear.

Everyone around gasped, some were shocked, some widened their eyes.

Abby gritted her teeth, quickly came back to her senses, and the side of her face that was hit slowly turned to look at the actress, her cold eyes burning with anger.

The actress couldn’t help but tremble slightly inside when she met her gaze.

Abby increasingly felt that this matter wasn’t simple, but the surveillance here wasn’t something she could check whenever she wanted.

But she had no enmity with this actress, why was she targeting her?

Abby angrily threw the soiled dress onto the makeup table, knocking over a few bottles of foundation, making quite a scene, scaring the actress into instinctively stepping back.

The actress was somewhat intimidated by her, steadied her emotions, and kept meeting her gaze.

At that moment, Angel, who had been watching from not far away, started walking over, her face cold, lips tightly pursed, ”Enough.”

Abby Sawyer turned her gaze upon hearing the voice and saw Angel’s haughty demeanor, thinking she was going to get angry.

Unexpectedly, Angel coldly stared at the actress, ”Handle your own matters, and try asking your assistant next time!”

”Yes, Keira.” The other party’s arrogance suddenly dimmed.

Then Angel gave Abby Sawyer a glance, turned around, and began walking back to her spot, while Abby, with her reddened cheeks, turned to follow behind her.

Abby couldn’t understand, she always felt there was something fishy about this incident.

”Thank you, Keira.” She said, turning as she walked.

Until Angel sat down in her place, she didn’t acknowledge her.

Abby stopped beside her, hesitated for a while before speaking, ”Keira, can we check the surveillance here? I just...”

”Check the surveillance for you?” Angel turned her gaze, mockingly asked, ”Do you know who she is? She’s the director’s niece! You want to make this bigger?”

She meant that the matter was already over.

Abby took a deep breath and ultimately fell silent.
