Twin Treasures: The CEO Wife's 99-Day of Revelations

Joanna Sawyer couldn’t understand, what does her sister’s first love have to do with CEO Kingston? How would a person of his rank be interested in this?

But she knew, since CEO Kingston was able to investigate to this point, even if she said nothing, he would find out everything eventually—it was just a matter of time.

”Ms. Sawyer, I hope we can have an honest conversation,” Justin Kingston’s voice was gentle, without any bossy attitude, ”If there’s anything you can’t say, or need me to do, I’ll agree to it.”

He wanted to know, and he could keep it secret.

After a brief inner struggle, the girl spoke softly—

”My sister did have a boyfriend in high school, she loved him very much and protected him so well that I’ve never even seen a photo, only know that his name contains the character ’Mo.’”

Justin Kingston took out his phone, pulled up a photo and showed it to her, ”Is this your sister?”

The photo was just taken; Abby Sawyer was in the CEO’s office, it was a frontal shot from the security footage.

The girl was shocked, had he already seen her sister?

”Yes, that’s her.” The girl came back to her senses.

Justin Kingston nodded, ”Alright, go on, I’m listening carefully.”

The girl thought for a moment and then said—

”Back then, my sister had a tattoo on her right ankle, I accompanied her to get it, it was the character ’Mo.’

”Due to the strict family upbringing, this boy became my sister’s little secret, no one in the family knew except for me, and all I knew was that character.”

”After they broke up, my sister couldn’t get over it for a long time, almost didn’t pass the college entrance examination, and that summer she slumped into learning how to drink.”

”But my sister had a certain pride in her bones, she didn’t want to look back, she was the one who proposed the breakup, she was more heartbroken than anyone, I don’t know the reason for their breakup.”

”They both insisted on not sending each other a single message, my sister kept enduring the pain of the breakup, she lost over ten pounds during that time.”

”I knew, my sister still loved him, she was just too deeply hurt...”

”Until one day, she got drunk at dawn and had a serious car accident on the way back, she was in a coma for three whole months...”

”After struggling back to life, she had amnesia... Later, she reconnected with her family around her, forgetting everything and everyone before the car accident.”

”Gradually, I felt like this was a blessing from above for her, because she could finally forget that boy and no longer be in so much pain.”

”The car accident caused a fracture in her right foot, and the surgery incision was exactly where the ’Mo’ character was, so I told the doctor to remove that character, and... the tattoo was gone.”

”She was reborn, completely saying goodbye to the past, though I don’t know if it’s a fortune or a misfortune...”

Justin Kingston roughly understood why she had disappeared for so long... it was like she had evaporated from the world, now he had an answer.

”I have a doubt.” Justin Kingston asked her, ”Are you two biological sisters? Why aren’t your records together in the household registration?”

”When my sister was born, her household registration was placed with my aunt because my uncle and aunt had no children for many years, but my sister lived with us.”

”I understand.” Justin Kingston nodded.

”CEO Kingston, I’m not questioning your reasons for investigating here, but I want to ask you for one favor,” Joanna Sawyer knew she couldn’t avoid confessing, since even if she didn’t, he would find out with his capabilities.

”Go ahead.”

”Let the past stay in the past, help me keep it from my sister, those painful memories aren’t worth causing her, who has already been reborn, to be distressed again. Amnesia is a good thing for my sister.”

Actually, after hearing all this, Justin Kingston’s mood was somewhat heavy; he nodded, ”Okay, I promise you.”

He could keep it from Abby Sawyer, but it didn’t have to be kept from Anton Miller.
