Naruto: Kage of Kages

With Benihime’s work going well even if not completely smooth, let us move on to another group.

With her most trusted subordinates securing the perimeter, Senju Toka took care of the assault by her lonesome and the means she chose, were decidedly less stealthy than Beni’s had been.

The facility conducting illegal research on the First Hokage’s body and cells, while still very hidden due its more remote and not easily accessible underground location , had guards outside as opposed to the Record Keeping one, two of them to be precise.

But that made little difference.

Senju Toka body flickered into the fray with Chakra Enhanced Strength ensuring her first strike shattered the skull of the first guard.

The second guard’s expression barely had time to twist before a brutal roundhouse kick snapped his neck as it sent his body flying.

With a single shift in her face, the Senju woman stood before the facility’s thick metal double doors, her eyes closing as she weaved a long sequence of hand seals.

It was as if she needed them.

However, using powerful jutsu with few to no hand seals increased chakra consumption, mental consumption or both and not pressed for time, Toka wanted to start with a big move while still preserving as much energy as possible.

After over fifty, she was ready and her eyes snapped open.

‘Water Release: Exploding Water Colliding Wave’

In an instant, a diluvial flood of water was expelled from in between Senju Toka’s lipstick painted lips, bursting through the thick and heavy iron doors as if they were not even them, even ripping them from their hinges.

Naturally, alarms rang out throughout the facility immediately but the warning did come nearly in time as the flooding water rapidly filled the underground space claiming dozens of lives.

Inside crapped underground chambers, there was simply no escape.

If the force of the flood did not bash you to death against the walls floor and ceiling, it was still only a matter of time before it drowned you.

Toka already knew the layout of the facility well from Shiki’s detailed reports.

The most important areas which held things of actual importance that the Senju woman needed to recover were sufficiently safeguarded from this type of assault, Toka was merely clearly the unimportant rabble and creating an advantageous terrain for a water release user like herself.

Following that, she unhesitantly dove into the flooded cave system.

The water created through her jutsu flowed and moved under her control still, pushing her through the facility at rapid speeds like creating a “bubble” of air around her head so she could still breathe.

Reaching a sealed room protected from her initial onslaught, Senju Toka launched into a short sequence of hand seals and unleashed another jutsu without delay.

‘Water Release: Water Dragon Whip’

The water around the woman retreated, forming a wall behind her and leaving the space between her and the room free.

Then from the wall of water, countless serpentine whips burst out, slicing through the sealed room’s door and eviscerating the three researchers and one ROOT shinobi operative inside while allowing no extra water in and avoiding damaging anything sensitive.

Toka collected a few important documents and certain pieces of lab equipment into a storage scroll and immediately moved on, letting the flood she previously held back rave the room outside of her control.

This process was repeated again, again and again.

The Senju woman meticulously went from sealed room to sealed room, killing any inside and collecting what she required before moving on.

Until finally, she reached the bottom level of the facility.

Here, a long flight of stairs led up into a section completely safe from her initial flooding assault.

‘Considering this is the most secure location in the entire facility where the most valuable parts of this illegal project are kept, the enemy has doubtlessly concentrated their best forces here.’ Senju Toka analyzed.

She popped a rapid digestion Military Rations Pill to restore the chakra she depleted so far, just to be at her best for the battle that doubtlessly awaited her ahead.

Despite sensing not being her strong suit, Toka was not completely incapable in the area however, as she extended her senses to check ahead . . .

‘As expected, someone on the other side is jamming me, a dedicated sensor or a counter sensory expert, either way, I’ll have to go in blind.’ She concluded.

Shiki had checked the personnel of the facilities to compile a list but while researchers remained the same, combat personnel were regularly rotated, leaving the boy unable to provide any certain info in that particular regard.

Still, that did not abate Senju Toka’s confidence in the slightest.

Not only did she have the vigor of youth back with her, the once again young woman had far greater vitality and life force thanks to the Sanguine Pill provided by Mito.

Her physical body was stronger, faster and tougher, she healed far quicker and her chakra became denser and more abundant than it had ever been.

With Toka being of pure Senju stock, all those attributes had been high to begin with but if she had been in the very earliest stage of S rank, or Kage level, strength, she was now solidly in that level.

‘Earth Release: Earth Spear’

The woman’s white creamy skin darkened into a brownish black as Earth Release hardened her body until it became all but impervious to physical harm with the exception of Lightning Release.

Since she was about to enter a critical section of the facility with loads of important materials, Toka could not simply launch indiscriminate ninjutsu attacks any longer.

As such, she employed Earth Release to further strengthen her body and was now planning on taking care of all remaining enemies purely through taijutsu.

Within the last unflooded section of the facility . . .

“What in the blazes is going on!?” An older gentleman in a lab coat shouted somewhat hysterically.

He was usually a calm and dignified middle aged man with neatly trimmed grey hair, beard and moustache, all expertly groomed.

Everyday wearing neat and tidy lab coats over simple but well crafted underclothes. A man whose entire image screamed wealth, status and stoic dignity.

. . .

None of that could be seen now though.

Not as the disheveled man shouted and screamed at the robotic Root operatives for answers.

“SILENCE!” The Root commander in charge of the base finally shouted.

The man clammed up in fright but fear soon gave way to even more rage.

“Just who do you think I AM!? I WILL HAV-’ The head researcher lost the ability to continue with his tirade as a gloved hand squeezed around his frail neck.

“I know exactly who you are, Kaenoji. Now quietly stay out of the way while I deal with the intruders.” The Root commander calmly spoke.

The head researcher, Kaenoji’s face was turning purple from asphyxiation as fear of the man before him utterly consumed him.

Suddenly, though, just as he was about to pass out, the Root commander released him from his grasp, sending him into a coughing spell as he gasped for air.

‘Now then . . . To deal with our guest . . .’
