Naruto: Becoming the Soul King

”Apart from increasing my Chakra reserves, there hasn’t been any qualitative change. This Ten-Tails probably doesn’t contain as much Chakra as Kaguya’s.”

Becoming the Ten-Tails Jinchūriki did not change Seiryū’s appearance. He had already reached the Six Paths level, and although Isshiki’s Ten-Tails had been growing for more than a thousand years, it was clearly weaker than Kaguya’s Ten-Tails. It was not enough to push Seiryū all the way to Kekkei Mōra.

Still, he was now only one step away.

”But I’ve definitely become much stronger.”

Feeling the immense Chakra surging through his body, Seiryū’s lips curled into a smile.

”You bastard.”

Isshiki’s expression became extremely gloomy. He had strengthened himself, only for Seiryū to become stronger as well. He had never expected Seiryū to pull something like this, taking Sasuke’s Rinnegan and then absorbing the Ten-Tails belonging to this space-time.

”What round are we on now? Forget it, there’s no point keeping track.”

The tomoe Rinnegan in Seiryū’s left eye glowed as he stared at Isshiki. ”Let’s continue, Isshiki. Now that I have this eye, there’s only one outcome waiting for you. Defeat!”

Sasuke stared at him in silence.

That was his eye!

Seiryū had ”borrowed” his Rinnegan without even asking. That was outright robbery!

Sasuke was so furious he felt as though his chest might explode, yet there was nothing he could do about it. Why was this guy so absurdly strong? To think he had actually been arrogant enough earlier to consider dealing with Seiryū afterward.

”Not going to move? Then I’ll go first!”

Ignoring Sasuke’s expression entirely, Seiryū attacked.

The tomoe Rinnegan in his left eye flashed as he activated Amenotejikara, instantly exchanging places with the air beside Isshiki.

”Dragon Fist Burst!”

Seiryū unleashed his strongest Taijutsu at point-blank range. Dragon-shaped fist force gathered around his punch without fully erupting, the compressed power alone enough to make the surrounding space tremble.

’Hum!’

Isshiki reacted immediately. An immense invisible repulsive force erupted from his body and collided directly with Seiryū’s fist.

’Rumble!’

The instant the two forces met, a terrifying explosion shook the battlefield. The resulting shockwave tore outward, carving through hundreds of meters of ground.

”He’s even more troublesome now.”

Isshiki was forced backward. Although he was not injured, his expression had become extremely ugly. With the Ten-Tails inside him and a Rinnegan at his disposal, Seiryū had become considerably harder to deal with.

”You’re not the only one who can use Rinnegan abilities. Try mine!”

Seiryū laughed and extended his left hand.

”Banshō Ten’in!”

A powerful gravitational force seized Isshiki and dragged him forward. In Seiryū’s hands, Banshō Ten’in was far more powerful than usual, and even Isshiki could not completely resist it. His movements were immediately restricted.

”It’s only a transplanted Rinnegan. Don’t think that’s enough to defeat me!”

Isshiki snorted coldly and activated Sukunahikona, shrinking his body until he was invisible to the naked eye. The pull of Banshō Ten’in immediately lost its target. He then escaped through Space-Time Dōjutsu and reappeared not far from Seiryū.

’Shhk! Shhk! Shhk!’

Several sharp black rods suddenly expanded from microscopic size and stabbed toward Seiryū. Each one contained Isshiki’s unique Kekkei Mōra-level Chakra, capable of accelerating the decay of whatever it struck.

”Shinra Tensei!”

Seiryū was already familiar with the Rinnegan and naturally had no difficulty using its abilities. An invisible repulsive force burst outward, deflecting the black rods and blasting Isshiki away as well.

Shinra Tensei was a Dōjutsu, not conventional Ninjutsu. Its activation method was fundamentally different, making it impossible to simply absorb in the usual manner. Against the Ōtsutsuki Clan, that made it extremely useful.

”Shrinking won’t help you anymore. With this eye and my perception, I can see you perfectly clearly!”

The Rinnegan’s visual power, combined with Seiryū’s already extraordinary perception, allowed him to track Isshiki even after he shrank.

’Swish!’

Amenotejikara activated again, and Seiryū instantly appeared directly in front of him. A massive black Rasengan surrounded by violently twisting air currents formed in his hand.

”Ultra-Big Ball Rasenring!”

’Rumble!!’

The resulting explosion engulfed an area nearly a kilometer across, resembling the detonation of a nuclear weapon. Blinding light illuminated the battlefield and briefly drove back the darkness of the night.

The attack was tremendously destructive, but at the Six Paths and Kekkei Mōra levels, even something like this was not enough to decide the battle.

”Where do you think you’re going?”

Seiryū locked onto Isshiki again and pursued him with Amenotejikara. His attacks came one after another without pause, giving Isshiki almost no room to recover.

To be fair, Amenotejikara was easier to use in direct combat than the Flying Raijin Jutsu. Aside from consuming more Chakra and ocular power, it had few drawbacks.

For Seiryū, the Chakra cost was practically irrelevant. He was already at the Six Paths level, and now he also had a Ten-Tails inside him continuously supplying enormous amounts of Chakra. He could maintain this pace for an entire day and night if necessary.

The greater concern was the consumption of ocular power, which did not recover nearly as quickly. Even so, exhausting it completely would still take time. It was more than enough for a battle like this.

’Boom, boom, boom!’

The two clashed once again, and now that both had grown stronger, the battle became even more destructive than before.

Elsewhere, while Seiryū and Isshiki fought with increasing intensity, Madara had not been idle either.

Even after becoming the Ten-Tails Jinchūriki, Madara could feel the pressure created by the gap in strength around him. If he wanted to complete his plan and overcome every enemy in his way, he needed to become stronger.

Devour all Chakra.

That was the instinct transmitted to him by the Ten-Tails within his body.

Then he would devour all Chakra.

However, just as Madara prepared to use a certain technique, Naruto noticed what he was doing. Having learned a great deal from the Sage of Six Paths, Naruto was unwilling to let Madara act freely.

A Wind Style: Rasenshuriken immediately interrupted him.

Thus, the battle between Madara and the Allied Shinobi Forces continued at the same time.

Sasuke’s tomoe Rinnegan had been ”borrowed,” leaving him unable to fight at full strength. Although his remaining Eternal Mangekyō Sharingan could still use Dōjutsu, it no longer posed much of a threat to Madara.

Naruto became the main force, but even with Six Paths Yang Power, defeating Six Paths-level Madara alone was impossible.

Fortunately, Tsunade’s Chakra had already been restored by Seiryū.

More importantly, the Shikkotsu Forest Senjutsu Chakra he had injected into her was extraordinarily compatible with her body. When Tsunade released the Yin Seal, she unlocked an entirely new state.

The amount of Shikkotsu Forest Senjutsu Chakra Seiryū had stored within her Yin Seal was enormous, comparable to that of a Tailed Beast.

Although Tsunade was still not as powerful as Naruto with Six Paths Yang Power, she had already reached a level comparable to Hashirama at his peak.

And naturally, that also allowed something else to awaken within her.

Wood Style!

”Sage Art: Wood Style: Deep Forest Emergence!”

Although it was her first time using Wood Style, Tsunade displayed astonishing power in her current state. It was still inferior to Hashirama at his peak, but it was more than enough to leave the entire Allied Shinobi Forces stunned.

Hashirama, Tobirama, and Hiruzen were especially shocked, staring at Tsunade as though their eyes might fall out of their heads.

Since when could Tsunade use Wood Style?
