Naruto: Becoming the Soul King

Sasuke and Boruto had already left, returning to their own space-time.

Kaguya had also settled down in Konoha.

Some time had passed since Isshiki took Urashiki away.

It was unclear whether the God Tree needed time to bear fruit or whether Isshiki was simply familiarizing himself with Kekkei Mōra-level power.

Either way, he had not made another move.

Kaguya did not dare resist Seiryū’s ”tyranny” and answered every question he asked without hiding anything.

With her help, Seiryū gained a much deeper understanding of the true nature of Kekkei Mōra.

Kekkei Mōra was born through the fusion of all seven Chakra natures.

It was not simply a technique.

It was a higher state of existence, a form of evolution that transformed the user toward becoming a Chakra-based lifeform.

The fusion of Yin and Yang produced the Power of All Creation.

The fusion of all seven Chakra natures produced an even higher form of the Power of All Creation.

That higher-quality power could then be used to drive the body’s evolution!

A Kekkei Mōra-level existence possessed characteristics close to ”immortality.”

Ordinary methods could hardly kill one.

Even someone at the Six Paths level would find it extremely difficult.

Generally speaking, only someone else at the Kekkei Mōra level could truly kill a Kekkei Mōra.

For example, Kaguya’s All-Killing Ash Bones.

Of course, Seiryū’s Hadō capable of attacking the soul could also kill someone at that level.

”To reach Kekkei Mōra, you need an enormous amount of Chakra. Chakra reserves are the most important factor.”

Inside the Forest of Death, Kaguya explained to Seiryū, ”It is extremely difficult to accumulate enough power through your own efforts. At the very least, I have never heard of anyone in the clan reaching Kekkei Mōra without consuming a Chakra Fruit.”

The Ōtsutsuki Clan did not really use the concept of Chakra natures.

They relied on Dōjutsu, or more accurately, Divine Techniques derived from their bloodline.

Ninjutsu was a system unique to the shinobi world.

The Ōtsutsuki did not rely on training to become stronger.

They consumed Chakra Fruits.

As long as they accumulated enough power, they could directly advance to the Kekkei Mōra level.

Kaguya’s talent within the clan had never been considered especially outstanding.

At the very least, she had not been comparable to some of the more gifted members.

Otherwise, she would never have served beneath Isshiki.

If talent was insufficient, Chakra Fruits could compensate for it.

By consuming just one Chakra Fruit produced by this planet, Kaguya had immediately advanced to Kekkei Mōra.

Within the Ōtsutsuki Clan, Kekkei Mōra-level beings were already among the highest-ranking individuals.

This planet was extremely unusual.

Its ”vitality” was astonishingly abundant.

Even after producing one complete Chakra Fruit, the planet’s vitality had not been exhausted.

It could support another God Tree and produce another complete Chakra Fruit.

On ordinary planets, even completely draining their vitality might not be enough to produce a perfect Chakra Fruit.

It was precisely because this planet was so special that Kaguya had ambushed Isshiki when the first Chakra Fruit matured.

She wanted to claim the planet for herself.

She wanted to plant another God Tree and produce a second complete Chakra Fruit.

If she consumed two complete Chakra Fruits, she would no longer need to fear the Ōtsutsuki Clan beyond this world.

Unfortunately, her plans had fallen apart.

Her two rebellious sons betrayed her and sealed her away for a thousand years.

Then, immediately after finally escaping, she was captured again.

Her life could be summed up in one word.

Miserable!

”So I need an enormous amount of Chakra?”

Hearing this, Seiryū fell into thought.

The more he understood the Kekkei Mōra level, the clearer one thing became.

Fusing all seven Chakra natures was an essential part of reaching Kekkei Mōra.

But the total amount of Chakra was equally important.

The Chakra required to reach that level was enormous.

Only with enough Chakra could one produce enough high-quality Power of All Creation to drive the body’s complete evolution.

Every step depended on the one before it.

The amount of Chakra required was probably so vast that even completely absorbing Kaguya’s current Chakra would not be enough.

At present, Kaguya was effectively equivalent to the Ten-Tails.

And this Ten-Tails was already extremely close to complete.

The only thing truly missing was the remaining Chakra of the Nine-Tails.

Kaguya’s Ten-Tails had already absorbed the Chakra of the other eight Tailed Beasts, along with a large portion of the Nine-Tails’ Chakra.

If a complete Ten-Tails were considered one hundred percent, then Kaguya’s current Ten-Tails was already above ninety percent.

For the resurrected Kaguya, that remaining difference was not especially significant.

The reason she was currently so weak, even weaker than Urashiki, was because she had been resurrected using only the body of the Ten-Tails.

That was far inferior to being resurrected through the body of Madara as the Ten-Tails Jinchūriki, as she had been in the original story.

”If I remember correctly, there are still several major Chakra sources scattered throughout the shinobi world.”

”My Dragon Vein, the Zero-Tails, the giant Tenseigan, the Gelel Stone deposits, Mōryō from the Land of Demons, the Spear of Heaven.”

”And then there’s the enormous amount of natural energy within the Three Great Sage Regions.”

”If I gather all of those together, it should be enough to meet the requirement for driving my body’s complete evolution, right?”

This was one of the advantages of being a transmigrator.

Seiryū knew far more about this world than most people ever could.

Chakra sources from movies, such as the Dragon Vein and the Zero-Tails, clearly existed here.

That meant other powerful Chakra sources from movies and side stories might exist as well.

As long as he gathered enough of them.

”Hmm. I’ll ask that troublesome woman later and see if she knows anything.”

Seiryū decided to ask Tsunade.

As the strongest shinobi village, Konoha should possess information about at least some of these things.

As long as Seiryū had a general direction, finding them would not be difficult.

Kaguya’s Yomotsu Hirasaka could move freely throughout the shinobi world.

In many ways, it was even more convenient than the Flying Raijin Jutsu.

There was no need to travel normally.

All she needed was a destination.

If these Chakra sources truly existed in this world, Seiryū was confident he could find them.

.

Over the next ten days or so, Seiryū’s main body continued practicing the fusion of all seven Chakra natures.

Meanwhile, his Shadow Clone traveled throughout the shinobi world with Kaguya, searching for powerful Chakra sources.

The Zero-Tails had already fallen into Seiryū’s hands after Orochimaru’s death.

The Gelel Stone deposits, the Spear of Heaven, Mōryō, and several other Chakra sources were gradually located as well.

One by one, Seiryū brought them back to an uninhabited section of Konoha’s Forest of Death.

There was one incident worth mentioning.

When Seiryū traveled to the moon to obtain the giant Tenseigan, the few remaining descendants of Hamura reacted extremely strongly.

So Seiryū beat them down.

In the end, the remaining Chakra of the Sage of Six Paths and Hamura appeared one after another and intervened, saving the lives of Hamura’s remaining descendants.

At the same time, the two rebellious sons of Kaguya also spoke with their mother.

Had the relationship between mother and sons improved?

Had they finally let go of their resentment toward one another?

Something along those lines.

Afterward, the two brothers entrusted the shinobi world and their ”reformed” mother to Seiryū before disappearing together.

One returned to the Pure Land.

The other returned to the grave.

Seiryū simply interpreted the whole thing as the two of them accepting him as their ”father.”

What a harmonious family!

Seiryū was extremely satisfied.

And in his heart, he made a solemn declaration.

I will take good care of your mother!
