Apocalypse: My Tattoos are Ten Yama Kings

Chapter 5: Chapter 5: The Era of Eerie Invasion Has Arrived

The air raid siren in the city keeps ringing, and the TV and mobile phones start to push emergency evacuation messages.

[A catastrophic event is happening worldwide, citizens are advised to stay home and not go out, please try not to leave your homes.]

[Please trust the authorities and the nation, we will certainly overcome the current crisis.]

Lin Yuan glanced at the official messages, then opened his chat software.

In the early stages of the supernatural invasion, national order still exists.

The authorities are making constant efforts to restore normal society.

However, they will soon realize that the situation of the supernatural invasion is irreversible.

Soon after, the authorities will discover the Life Pattern Masters who awaken their tattoo abilities.

To deal with Evil Spirits and Deceitful Charm, only Life Pattern Masters can help.

Later, the authorities will gather these Life Pattern Masters for their use, then establish shelters.

....

....

”Ding dong.”

”Ding dong, ding dong.”

The phone ringtone rings consecutively, Lin Yuan looks over and sees ”99+ unread messages.”

At this time, the entire internet is already boiling.

He opens the chat group, and the first thing he sees is a video.

Lin Yuan clicks on the video to watch, and it captures a small rural courtyard.

The picture is chaotic.

The entire yard is covered with blood, and several corpses are lying haphazardly across it.

Beneath the video are several consecutive voice messages.

Lin Yuan clicks on the voice message, and it’s a female voice with a sobbing tone.

”Wah wah!”

”My mom is dead, my dad is dead, my brother is dead, and my family’s dog is dead too.”

”My grandma, my grandma just rose from the coffin and killed my entire family.”

”I hid in the wardrobe and escaped.”

”Yes, my grandma seems to have turned into a zombie, she drained all my family’s blood.”

After watching these videos and voice messages, Lin Yuan involuntarily fell silent.

What can be said?

It’s only the first day of the supernatural invasion, actually, the supernatural phenomena appearing at this stage are not that numerous or strong.

To have the entire family wiped out on the first day of the supernatural invasion is somewhat unlucky.

”Girl, you have to stay strong, this kind of thing isn’t just happening to you. I’m on a business trip outside, and it seems my wife has lost contact too. Maybe she.... wah hey wah.”

”The person above, you don’t seem like you’re crying! Your wife lost contact, are you crying or laughing!”

”If it’s really not working, then call the police.”

”Can’t get through, the emergency calls are probably overwhelmed.”

”Girl, don’t be too pessimistic. Think positively. While both your parents are dead, your grandma is alive! You still have relatives!”

....

....

It has to be said, this generation of netizens really know how to comfort people.

Soon, the girl sent another voice message.

”Wah wah, don’t scare me!”

”What am I going to do if my grandma comes back to drink my blood!”

Not mentioning her grandma was fine, bringing up her grandma made her cry even more fiercely.

At this moment, Lin Yuan typed a reply.

”Stop crying if you don’t want to die.”

”Touch your parents’ corpses, if they start to stiffen, burn them immediately.”

”Not just your parents’ corpses, all corpses bitten by zombies need to be burned.”

”If there’s no condition to burn them, then use a knife to chop off their heads. Otherwise, when they all turn into zombies, you’re undoubtedly dead.”

”Recently, don’t wander around, your house has just had Evil Spirits visit and so many people have died.”

”In the short term, the dense Deceitful Qi here will cover up your living breath. Therefore, your home is very safe right now.”

After Lin Yuan’s reply was sent out, soon the girl’s message came again.

”Thank you.”

The girl’s voice quivered, evidently scared to extreme.

”In places where Evil Spirits have visited and people have died in the short term, Deceitful Qi will cover human breath. Hence, it becomes safer.”

”I understand, this is the crater theory. In the same crater, a second shell doesn’t hit. Similarly, in places where Evil Spirits have killed, another won’t come in the short term.”

”Master, you seem to know everything! I’ve added you, please accept.”

”I’ve added too, Master, please accept.”

....

....

Seeing how Lin Yuan spoke logically, the netizens in the group promptly started adding him as a friend.

However, Lin Yuan directly ignored all.

First of all, he doesn’t want to be a teacher to these people.

The reason he gave guidance to the girl moments ago was purely due to chance and casually merely.

Secondly, it won’t be long before the network crashes, adding friends is meaningless.

Meanwhile, some special comments started appearing in the chat group.

”I seem to have become the Fire-breathing Child! I have a blazing flame tattoo, just now my body felt like being in a furnace, then I fainted!”

”After waking up, I found I could actually breathe fire.”

This message caused immediate skepticism among the group members.

Very soon, this person sent a video of breathing fire.

”Whoa! It’s a video, as we all know, videos can’t be faked.”

”Is it true? I have an Over-the-shoulder Dragon tattoo, why don’t I have superpowers?”

”Absolutely true, my left arm has a scorpion tattoo, and I found my scorpion can transform into a scorpion armor.”

After speaking, this person sent a selfie.

A man dressed in scorpion armor, appearing like Scorpion Leilei from the cartoons.

Apart from the Fire-breathing Child and Scorpion Leilei, in a group of over a hundred people, there were no more Life Pattern Masters awakened with tattoos.

Of course, some in the group claimed to have tattoos but haven’t gained Extraordinary Abilities.

Only Lin Yuan knows that the Life Pattern Masters who awaken tattoo abilities now are actually the weakest among them.

Real powerful Life Pattern Masters need ample Deceitful Qi for awakening, needing a long time to absorb and accumulate Deceitful Qi before they can awaken.

For instance, the one who claimed to have an Over-the-shoulder Dragon tattoo.

If his tattoo awakens, it would be far more powerful than the Fire-breathing Child and Scorpion Leilei.

Of course, apart from Lin Yuan, who’s reincarnated from three years after the supernatural invasion, no one else knows this.

After putting down the phone, Lin Yuan started considering what he should do next.

In the early stages of the supernatural invasion, he has the Ox Head and Horse Face Tattoo, enabling him to roam freely with ease.

So, the next step is to hunt as many Evil Spirits, Deceitful Charm, Demon Fiend, and lesser spirits as possible.

Thus, he can collect more Deceitful Qi.

The next phase of the plan is to awaken Black and White Impermanence.

The combination of Ox Head and Horse Face with Black and White Impermanence is enough for Lin Yuan to survive the early stages of the supernatural invasion.

(ps: This book combines supernatural and tattoo themes. For those enjoying it, please give a recommendation vote or a monthly ticket. It’s not easy for a new author to write, and the support of readers is my motivation.)
