Samsara Tower: Only I Know the Plot!

Fenric’s appearance instantly attracted the attention of everyone in the conference room.

Saitama, standing next to Fenric, became completely invisible.

Those S-Class heroes were also sizing up Fenric.

”Is that Mundo? I hope to have the chance to fight him!” Atomic Samurai thought to himself.

”A human who can defeat Elder Centipede? If I could obtain his physical data, I could become even stronger!” Metal Knight exclaimed inwardly.

Bang the Silver Fang thought, ”This young man’s aura is truly frightening!”

”Mundo seems to be looking at me. He noticed my perfect muscles…” Superalloy Blackshine thought proudly.

”Ah! Mr. Mundo is so manly! I must take this opportunity to get on good terms with him.” — Puri-Puri Prisoner.

”Thump! Thump! Thump... These people are so scary! My heart is beating so fast. I want to go home and play video games!” The man who claimed to possess the Emperor Engine thought nervously.

”Hmph, what’s so great about him!” Tatsumaki thought with disdain.

...

Fenric’s gaze swept over the S-Class heroes, taking in their expressions.

”Mr. Mundo, this is your seat. Please sit here,” the chairman greeted him warmly.

The position the chairman pointed to was at the very top, directly in front of Tatsumaki.

Fenric smiled faintly, walked over, and sat down.

”Snort!”

He had just taken his seat when a cold snort came from beside him.

Fenric naturally knew it was the proud little Tatsumaki, but he didn’t care. He simply smiled faintly and ignored it.

After Fenric sat down, the chairman announced the start of the meeting.

”Sorry to keep you all waiting.”

”Since Blast’s whereabouts are unknown and we cannot contact him, waiting any longer is not an option. Therefore, we will begin the emergency meeting now.”

At this point, the chairman’s expression turned serious.

”I will personally explain the situation to everyone at this meeting. Without further ado, let’s get straight to the point... The main reason for inviting all of you top experts here is...”

”We urge everyone to protect the Earth!!”

Upon hearing this, everyone’s expressions turned serious. Even the usually indifferent Tatsumaki became somewhat attentive.

The chairman continued, ”This disaster concerns all mankind. Even the strongest among you may perish in this catastrophe... Therefore, if anyone feels afraid, you may speak up now, and we will still reserve your S-Class seat.”

No one spoke.

As S-Class heroes, they naturally had their own pride. How could they possibly retreat in advance?

Even if someone (King) thought that way, he would be too embarrassed to say it in front of everyone.

Seeing that no one refused, the chairman’s expression softened slightly, and he continued sincerely:

”This disaster originates from that spaceship in the sky. The great prophet once said that Earth might perish in this catastrophe! Therefore, all of you top experts, please do everything in your power to protect our Earth!!”

”Clang! Clang!”

The moment the chairman finished speaking, the sound of metal striking the floor echoed through the conference room.

It was Metal Bat, the sixteenth-ranked S-Class hero, tapping the ground with the bat in his hand.

Seeing that he had everyone’s attention, Metal Bat finally spoke.

”After saying so much, do you have any information about the enemy?”

The chairman didn’t mind Metal Bat’s blunt attitude and replied seriously, ”Since this is the first time we’ve encountered such an enemy, we don’t have detailed information. However, according to the think tank’s speculation, the enemy is very likely a powerful alien wandering through space!”

That was basically stating the obvious.

Anyone capable of traveling to Earth in a spaceship must be aliens from another galaxy.

Just then!

BOOM!!

A huge explosion rang out.

The entire building shook violently.

Everyone’s expression changed, and the chairman shouted in shock, ”What’s going on? What happened?”

A pale-faced technician quickly replied, ”Mr. Chairman, something terrible has happened! That spaceship has descended over A City and just launched an unidentified attack, destroying 99% of the city’s urban area. Only the Association headquarters building survived, but it has been severely damaged. If it is attacked again, it will definitely be destroyed...”

The chairman’s expression changed drastically.

”99%!? That means... A City—an entire city—was destroyed in an instant!? Why... why did they attack so quickly?”

The chairman looked terrified. His face was pale, and his eyes were filled with horror.

Bang the Silver Fang couldn’t help but ask, ”Hey, chairman, why is our building still intact?”

The chairman remained silent, but a technician beside him answered, ”The headquarters building was designed and constructed by Metal Knight. Its durability is many times stronger than a vault!”

Metal Bat said calmly, ”No wonder there isn’t even a window.”

Fenric finally spoke, his tone calm.

”In short, we should go outside and see who the enemy is. Sitting here won’t solve anything.”

Upon hearing this, the chairman immediately bowed to all the heroes.

”I’m counting on you all—for the sake of Earth!”

No one said anything. They all left the conference room and began preparing for battle.

...

Then.

Everyone went directly to the rooftop of the headquarters building.

Standing on the rooftop, the massive scale of the spaceship became even clearer.

It blotted out the sky and blocked the sun.

It was as if the entire sky had been covered.

Below the spaceship, the once-bustling A City had been completely reduced to ruins—a truly horrifying sight.

”What kind of destructive power is that? It destroyed A City with a single strike?” Atomic Samurai asked in shock.

Watchdog Man twitched his nose and said slowly, ”There are still surviving humans on the ground.”

The young genius, Child Emperor, said, ”Those humans are in danger. We can’t just stand by and do nothing.”

”That’s right,” said Bang. ”A few of you come down with me and deal with the enemies on the ground.”

Upon hearing this, Atomic Samurai, Metal Bat, Puri-Puri Prisoner, and other heroes who couldn’t fly followed Bang downstairs.

In a moment,

The number of people on the rooftop decreased by almost half.

”The enemies on the ground are easy to deal with, but... what about that behemoth?” Child Emperor looked at the spaceship in the sky and couldn’t help feeling worried.

Tatsumaki’s gaze suddenly fell on Fenric, and she said arrogantly, ”Hey, Mundo! Why don’t you join me and destroy this spaceship!”

Fenric smiled faintly.

”No need. Saitama and I will go. You all should go help on the ground.”

Upon hearing this, everyone turned to look, and Tatsumaki immediately became furious.

”What do you mean by that? Are you looking down on us?”

Fenric ignored her and patted Saitama, who was standing beside him in a daze.

”Saitama, let’s go.”

”Yes, teacher!”
