Online Game: My Decay Drives the Entire Server Crazy

Chapter 130 Tokyo’s Two Lords Instantly Killed! Shrine Demolished and Transformed into Hayashi Ye Memorial HallWhen the plane landed at Tokyo’s Haneda Airport, there wasn’t a single ordinary passenger in sight. The runway was packed with high-ranking officials from the Japanese government and officers from the Self-Defense Forces.

Seeing Lin Ye step off the plane, Japanese Prime Minister Kenichi Sato immediately trotted over to meet him, bowing nearly ninety degrees until his head was almost touching his chest.

”Lord Lin Ye! Miss Su! You’ve finally arrived! On behalf of the 130 million citizens of Japan, I kowtow to you!”

As he spoke, he actually knelt on the ground with a thud and performed a resounding kowtow to Lin Ye.

The cabinet ministers and Self-Defense Force generals behind him followed suit, kneeling in a dense, dark mass. The scene was incredibly spectacular.

Lin Ye was amused by the display and reached out to pull Sato up. ”Alright, alright, enough with these feudal dregs. I’m here to work, not to receive your worship. Tell me, how bad is the situation now?”

Sato wiped the cold sweat from his forehead and said with a mournful face, ”Lord Lin Ye, it’s terrible! Tokyo now has two Lord-class Abyss Monsters! One is at the Shibuya Crossing, called the Abyss Corroder; the acid it spits can melt tanks! The other is in Akihabara, a Mechanical Distortion that can control all electronic devices. Our drones and missiles can’t hit it at all! We’ve deployed all our Self-Defense Forces and lost over a thousand people, yet we haven’t even scratched them! Shibuya and Akihabara have completely fallen, and over 300,000 citizens are trapped inside!”

”Two Lords? Perfect, saves me from making two trips.” Lin Ye nodded. ”Let’s head to Shibuya first and deal with that Corroder.”

”Yes, yes, yes! The helicopter is ready!” Sato quickly led Lin Ye and Su Qinghan onto a military helicopter.

As the helicopter reached the airspace above Shibuya, Lin Ye caught a whiff of a pungent, acidic smell.

Looking down, the entire Shibuya Crossing had turned into a green marsh. The surrounding buildings were riddled with holes from acid corrosion, and the remains of melted cars and tanks were everywhere.

A massive monster, dripping with green acid, was perched on a department store building, continuously spewing acid.

Several citizens trapped on the rooftop were crying out in despair.

Just as the helicopter was preparing to land, a middle-aged man in a Self-Defense Force uniform suddenly stood up, his face full of anger and disdain.

He was Ichiro Yamamoto, the Chief of Staff of the Japan Ground Self-Defense Force and a well-known right-wing extremist.

”Prime Minister! I do not agree to let this Chinese person save us! The warriors of the Great Japanese Empire do not need the charity of foreigners! I will lead the Kamikaze Special Attack Force right now to perish together with this monster!”

As he spoke, he drew the katana at his waist and shouted to the dozen or so soldiers behind him, ”Warriors! For the Emperor! For the Great Japanese Empire! Charge!”

Sato’s face changed drastically as he barked, ”Yamamoto! Are you insane? Come back! You’re going to your death!”

”I’m not going back!” Yamamoto roared. ”I would rather die than let this Chinese person look down on our Great Japanese Empire!”

With that, he and the dozen soldiers, carrying explosive packs, jumped from the helicopter and landed on the streets of Shibuya.

Lin Ye crossed his arms, watching with interest. ”Oh? A Kamikaze Special Attack Force? It’s the 21st century and you’re still playing with that outdated stuff. Fine, I’ll watch and see how you ’perish together.’”

Su Qinghan frowned. ”Isn’t this a bit too cruel? Those soldiers are innocent.”

”Don’t worry,” Lin Ye said calmly. ”I’ll step in when they’re on the verge of death. It’s the perfect opportunity to let these right-wingers see that their so-called Bushido spirit is a joke in the face of absolute power.”

Sure enough, as soon as Yamamoto and his soldiers charged in front of the Corroder, the monster suddenly turned its head and spat a mouthful of green acid at them.

”Ah—!”

The dozen soldiers were instantly melted by the acid, with not even their bones remaining.

Yamamoto reacted quickly, rolling to the side to dodge the acid, but a few drops still splashed onto his arm.

His arm immediately began to rot, green pus flowing down it. He rolled on the ground in agony, letting out heart-wrenching screams.

The Corroder let out a low growl and raised its massive claw, slamming it down toward Yamamoto.

Just as Yamamoto was about to be crushed into pulp, a beam of pale gold energy suddenly shot over, striking the Corroder’s claw.

Crack!

The Corroder’s claw shattered instantly, spraying green blood everywhere.

Lin Ye jumped down from the helicopter, landing steadily on the ground. He walked up to Yamamoto and looked down at him. ”Well? Can your Bushido spirit defeat this monster?”

Yamamoto was trembling with pain, his face filled with shame and terror, unable to utter a single word.

”Useless garbage.” Lin Ye spat disdainfully and turned to face the enraged Corroder.

The Corroder spat a huge mouthful of acid at Lin Ye, the liquid pouring down like a waterfall.

The onlookers all closed their eyes in fear, thinking Lin Ye was about to be melted.

Lin Ye stood his ground, not moving an inch, and activated his Decay Shield.

The pale gold shield enveloped him. As the acid hit the shield, it was instantly decomposed into harmless water vapor.

”Is this all you’ve got? And you call yourself a Lord-class?”

Lin Ye sneered, raising his hand and making a grasping motion toward the Corroder.

Bang!

With a muffled sound, the Abyss Corroder’s entire body exploded into countless drops of green acid. As they hit the ground, they were swiftly decomposed by the Decay energy until nothing remained.

Sato and the cabinet ministers on the helicopter were stunned. It took several seconds for them to react, after which they began to clap and cheer excitedly.

The citizens trapped on the rooftops also witnessed this scene and began shouting to Lin Ye, ”Thank you, Lord Lin Ye! Thank you, Lord Lin Ye!”

Lin Ye waved his hand toward the rooftops, and a wave of golden energy lifted all the citizens, gently setting them down on the ground.

He then turned to look at Yamamoto lying on the ground. ”Get lost. Don’t come out and embarrass yourself again. If I see you involved in any more right-wing activities, I’ll throw you straight to the Abyss Monsters.”

Yamamoto scrambled away on all fours, not even daring to look back.

Next, Lin Ye and Su Qinghan headed to Akihabara.

The Mechanical Distortion was indeed a bit troublesome, as it could control all electronic devices. As soon as Lin Ye arrived in Akihabara, all the nearby phones, computers, and cars went out of control and came crashing toward him.

But in the face of absolute power, these little tricks were useless.

Lin Ye directly activated a large-scale Decay Domain, causing all the electronic devices to short-circuit and become scrap instantly.

Then, he one-shotted the Mechanical Distortion in less than ten seconds.

In just three hours, Lin Ye had dealt with the two Lord-class Abyss Monsters in Tokyo, sealed all the Abyss Rifts, and cleared out all the remaining abyssal creatures.

The Defense of Tokyo, which was originally expected to last three months, was settled by Lin Ye in half a day.

That evening, Sato hosted a banquet at the Prime Minister’s Official Residence to entertain Lin Ye and Su Qinghan.

At the banquet, Sato took out a bank card and handed it to Lin Ye with both hands. ”Lord Lin Ye, this is a small token of appreciation from the Japanese government. There is 1 billion US dollars inside; please accept it. Furthermore, we have decided to demolish the Yasukuni Shrine and build the Lin Ye Memorial Hall on its site, so that generations of Japanese people will remember your life-saving grace! Also, we are gifting you 3,000 acres of land at the foot of Mount Fuji as your private territory. All the paperwork has been completed!”

Lin Ye took the bank card, not refusing this time. ”I’ll take the money. As for the land, forget it; I have no interest in Japanese soil. However, I agree to demolishing the shrine and turning it into a memorial hall. No tablets for any war criminals are allowed inside; only my statue and historical data regarding this Abyss invasion are permitted, so the Japanese people will always remember who saved them.”

”Yes, yes, yes! We will definitely comply!” Sato nodded repeatedly. ”We will begin demolishing the shrine tomorrow and guarantee the memorial hall will be built within three months!”

This news quickly spread throughout Japan. Not only did the Japanese public not oppose it, but they also expressed their support one after another.

”That wretched shrine should have been demolished long ago! It only housed murderous demons!”

”Lord Lin Ye saved our lives; it’s only right to build a memorial hall for him!”

”From now on, if anyone dares to speak ill of Lord Lin Ye, I’ll be the first to give them a piece of my mind!”

The right-wingers who had previously supported Yamamoto were now being cursed by the public so much that they didn’t dare to leave their homes, only able to hide and tremble.

Just then, Lin Ye’s phone rang. This time, it was a personal call from the President of the United States, President Biden.

As soon as the call connected, Biden’s sobbing voice came through: ”Mr. Lin Ye! I beg of you! Please come to America immediately! Washington D.C. has completely fallen! Three Lord-class monsters have broken into the White House! I’ve been hiding in an underground bunker for three days, not daring to go out! New York and Los Angeles are also about to collapse! If you come even a step later, the United States will be destroyed!”

Lin Ye said leisurely, ”Oh? Destroyed? That’s quite a pity. But I’m in Japan right now, just finished working, and haven’t rested yet. Besides, the 2.5 billion dollars we mentioned earlier isn’t enough anymore.”

Biden hurriedly said, ”If it’s not enough, we’ll add more! 5 billion! No! 10 billion! As long as you come over now, we will immediately transfer 10 billion US dollars to your account!”

”10 billion?” Lin Ye stroked his chin. ”Fine, since you’re being so sincere, I’ll head over tomorrow. But money first, work later. No credit allowed.”

”Good, good, good! I’ll have the treasury transfer it to you right now! Immediately!” Biden said excitedly.

Hanging up the phone, Lin Ye looked at the text message confirming the 10 billion dollar deposit, a satisfied smile curling his lips.

Su Qinghan said helplessly from the side, ”You’re being too unscrupulous, hiking the price to 10 billion all at once.”

”Unscrupulous?” Lin Ye huffed. ”How much money has America plundered from the world over the years? 10 billion is just a drop in the bucket for them. Besides, how did they target us in the game before? Charging them 10 billion now is already letting them off cheap.”

Early the next morning, Lin Ye and Su Qinghan boarded a private jet bound for Washington D.C.

Sato brought all the cabinet ministers to the airport to see them off personally, not daring to straighten his back until the plane took off.

The plane crossed the Pacific Ocean, flying toward Washington D.C.

Meanwhile, Washington D.C. had turned into a literal living hell.

Three Lord-class Abyss Monsters were frantically destroying the city. Corpses and ruins were everywhere, and the surviving Americans hid in underground bunkers, waiting desperately for Lin Ye’s arrival.

What they didn’t know was that Lin Ye wasn’t just going to America to deal with the Abyss Monsters; he was going to fleece America until they didn’t even have their underwear left.
