Starting as a Mechanical Hunter

Chapter 687: Chapter 212: Xiao Yu

Fortress, Legion Garrison.

7th Legion.

At first, the Mother City had only four Legions: the 1st Legion, 2nd Legion, 3rd Legion, and 4th Legion.

The four Legions corresponded to the four factions of Cybertron Robots: Decepticons Faction, Autobots Faction, Split Faction, and Power Faction.

Later, with the advancement of prosthetic body technology on Mechanical Split Star, the 5th Legion was successfully formed.

The Legion Commander of this Legion was the contemporary Clan Leader of the Xie Family, a legendary industrial monster.

Afterward, the 6th Legion was established.

This Legion is familiar to outsiders as the Network Killer Legion, with all its members being Cyber Killers.

Then came the 7th Legion—the Bio-Fusion Corps.

A combat corps based on Bio-Fusion Technology, where each member is a super combatant.

The Legion Commander of the 7th Legion is Xiao Yuanjun.

At this time, in one of the advanced tech barracks of the Legion, a stunningly handsome youth was sitting cross-legged with eyes closed, adjusting his breathing. His biological magnetic field fluctuated at a steady frequency with his breath.

Then, something bizarre happened. As he breathed, a mass of flesh suddenly burst forth from his body, writhing on the ground for a moment before transforming into a palm-sized beautiful boy.

This beautiful boy had identical features to the main body, looking curiously at the surrounding world and then back at the main body before mimicking him by sitting cross-legged.

This is an ancient empire’s cultivation method. The ancient human engine was implanted in the abdomen, and this posture allowed better efficiency in utilizing the engine.

A minute later, with a ’tear,’ a large chunk of flesh was ripped from the boy’s back, growing limbs again, transforming into a beautiful boy the height of an adult’s thigh.

Two minutes later, a grain-sized beautiful boy appeared on the coffee table.

Three minutes later, a finger-sized beautiful boy appeared on the knee.

...

Two hours later, the floor, bed, and table were filled with beautiful boys of various sizes sitting around.

Ordinary Bio-Fusion Armor can enhance the wearer’s attributes and biological energy.

However, custom-grade Bio-Fusion Armor can increase the ’Human Body System Transformation Rate.’ Do not underestimate this attribute. Some advanced transformations require a certain level of this rate, like those of the Bio-Fusion Celestial King type, where more than a dozen eyeballs protrude, or the body sprouts some biological weapons, evolving just like that.

And this boy’s behavior was even more unimaginable.

He continuously split his human body system. Although each ’Split Body’ had a human body system transformation rate of only 10%, 7%, or even 1%, when combined, they reached a terrifying number.

And this number would far exceed the upper limit of Biological Transformation.

This boy was the operator of the Omen Machine, the Xiao Family’s super prodigy, Xiao Yu, the host of the other half of the ’Soul Armor.’

”Xiao Yu, bad news—”

A female voice suddenly came from the Biological Computer.

”The ’Doomsday Black Emperor’ has been stolen,” Xiao Yu opened his eyes and said calmly.

”You knew?” the voice was surprised.

”I vaguely felt it, the transmission channel disappeared.”

”It’s said that Xiao Tianjia stole it himself, this person must have gone mad from research.”

Xiao Tianjia was Dr. Xiao.

”He cannot control the ’Doomsday Black Emperor.’ According to the family’s data, to control the Black Emperor, one must at least master the Emperor’s Might, which Xiao Tianjia cannot do.”

”Do you mean he acted in collusion with others? Or was he being controlled?”

”We’ll know the details once we arrive there. By now, the family must have arranged for a special craft for me.”

”Yes, the most advanced ’Space Falcon Type’ in the family.”

”Very well, commence transmission.”

Xiao Yu stood up, with the other ’Little Xiao Yus’ leaping onto him and quickly disappearing.

Then he walked into a large ’glass box’ and activated the switch.

This ’glass box’ had a formal name: ’Gene Decomposition and Teleportation Device.’

A cross-regional teleportation channel exclusive to carbon-based creatures.

Soon, a bright light appeared, and Xiao Yu disappeared entirely.

When he reappeared, it was in another ’glass box,’ and this glass box was aboard a Falcon-Type Flying Device.

”When will this teleportation be able to cross continents?”

Xiao Yu assessed his physical state, lifted his head, and looked towards the elegant lady in front of him.

The lady pursed her lips into a smile,

”That might have to wait for the fifth generation, at least solve your clothing issue first.”

”Just wear the combat suit directly.”

The bare Xiao Yu didn’t mind at all, allowing the other to assist him in putting on the form-fitting black combat suit.

”By the way, this is the family’s most advanced combat suit, capable of withstanding attacks from some low-level energy cannons. It’s said to be popular among interstellar combatants.”

Xiao Yu nodded and pointed to the one-sided monocle on his hand, asking:

”Then what is this?”

”It’s also inspired by the technology from other star domains. The family scientists call it a ’Battle Power Detector,’ and supposedly, it can detect ’Martial God Level’ power.”

”Oh? Is that so, interesting.”

The well-dressed woman regretfully said, ”It’s a shame you left at the wrong time and missed this year’s Martial God Fight.”

”I’ve already participated twice; joining again doesn’t hold much appeal,” Xiao Yu stretched lazily, looking out at the radiation clouds outside the window, and said:

”Besides, I’ve received news that the establishment of the 8th Legion has little to do with us or the Xie Family.”

He paused and added:

”On the contrary, that mysterious enemy has piqued my interest a bit.”

The woman smiled at Xiao Yu’s back, fully aware of the terrifying power lurking within this seemingly calm and even slightly lazy young man.

...

Deep Net, the underbelly of the web

Although the control of the ’Cyber Network’ had been transferred, no one would underestimate the authority of this network city.

In the depths of the web, amidst rapidly changing codes, digital logic, and electrical signals, there finally emerged an alluring woman.

Ms. Deep Web

One of the three rulers of this planet.

Within the boundless Wall of Code, Ms. Deep Web walked step by step, ultimately ascending the electronic throne with a gentle smile, saying:

”I didn’t expect the 13th to be born so early; Fortress has done a commendable job.”

”Haha, that old thing is cunning. Even if a ’Simulator’ is truly nurtured, among the three of us, only one Planet Host can obtain further qualifications. According to that old ghost’s arrogant idea, it seems he wants to become the controller of some interstellar Giant Structure.”

”It’s indeed an arrogantly ambitious thought. I thought becoming the civilization host of some subsidiary civilization was already enough.”

”That won’t suffice for it.”

Opposite Ms. Deep Web was a massive shadow, seated upon an interstellar throne, resting a small planet in each hand.

This was ’War,’ awakened unbeknownst to anyone.

’War’ said openly:

”You need to be cautious of ’Fortress.’ I worry the quicker the ’Simulator’ forms, the more it will incite his ambitions. I’m afraid he might target us.”

”That’s unlikely. I control the internal virtual powers of this planet, and you control the martial forces outside the planet. As long as we remain without issue, Fortress can’t cause any upheaval.”

Ms. Deep Web shook her head, saying:

”I’m more concerned about another point. As that ’thing’ takes shape, those Sub-Bodies will become increasingly aggressive, and we can only defend passively. I worry that those entities’ Attack Power will grow, potentially harming us.”

’War’ dismissed her concerns: ”You’re overthinking it, Deep Net. Even if it’s a ’Cosmic Relic,’ without someone to control it, it cannot display its true powers. Moreover, according to our simulations, it’s not even a destructive relic.”

”But I still have a bad premonition.”

”That indicates your premonition is mistaken,” ’War’ stated bluntly, ”Perhaps its birth is affecting your judgment. After all, you are part of it too.”

”Control your excessive emotions, prune the excess branches of the Technology Tree, evolution sometimes requires suppression.”

’War’s’ massive black shadow gradually vanished into the void.

Only Ms. Deep Web remained silently watching into the distance.

In mid-air, the codes suddenly formed into pictures—ancient Mechanical Imperial Courts, Federation parties, the desolate streets of the Federation.

In these different settings, stood the figure of a young girl.

The girl’s face bore a seventy percent resemblance to Ms. Deep Web, only much younger.

years ago, before the first mechanical war began, and the Alien Influence was merely a legend.

Back then, the appearance of a mysterious young girl caught the world’s attention, driving an era forward and bringing a mix of delightful and not-so-pleasant memories.

The girl called herself Deep Net.

This ’Deep Net’ had a complex connection with the host Deep Net.

But her other identity was even more complex.

No. 1 Destruction Form, Deep Net.

The earliest, first-born Destruction Form.

...

”What, the Du Gao Group agreed to help them fend off Eternal Life Technology, why!?”

As the current head of the Holy Brain Group, Ye the Big Lolita naturally had many confidants embedded within the group, obtaining firsthand information.

Upon learning that the Du Gao Group promised military aid to the Holy Brain Group, she did indeed feel a slight sense of betrayal.

Weren’t you supposed to serve me?

After all, according to her plan, she hoped to use external forces to severely deplete the internal resistance within the group.

”What exactly are you trying to do?! Aren’t we on the same side?”

Ye the Big Lolita looked at Gao Gong resentfully. After a brief moment of bewilderment, Gao Gong quickly confirmed something.

”It seems Director Du has awakened earlier than expected. It seems the devouring by Corporate Will can indeed help Director Du accelerate the ’Shipgirl’ formation.”
