I Reincarnated as a Support Character with an S-Rank Harem, So What?

Now that Ryan had that pair of holy knights subdued.

There was only one thing left to do while they were still in that cellar.

’In my previous life, I never imagined doing something like this. Although I haven’t been here for very long, somehow I feel like I’ve changed... but why do I have this strange feeling in my chest?’

Ryan thought as the holy knight girl rubbed her face against his hand.

Tears of hers ran down her cheek.

”You damned heretic! Let her go this instant!”

Ryan put his thumb into the girl’s mouth, and she began to suck on it, emitting soft sounds from her mouth as she did so.

”Master...” Ryan and Beatrice turned to look at the girl.

Perhaps that scene was like a sense of deja vu for Beatrice; even so, she did not dare to say anything.

The girl began to run her tongue over Ryan’s hand repeatedly while looking at him with her tearful eyes.

”I... I don’t know much, truly, Master. But... I will tell you whatever I can.”

’It’s strange. Until now, the Debt skill hasn’t had this kind of reaction. I mean, the physical behavior is what I expected, but... is it also taking control of her words?’

Ryan began to withdraw his finger from her mouth, and as he pulled it out, she took his hand and rested her face against it.

”We... we are from Division Six. No captains came on the expedition. Our captain’s name is Erika...” She looked at him without letting go of his hand.

”So, Erika. And I assume she’s only A-rank?”

”Yes... she is...”

”Shut up already! Don’t tell him a thing!”

But it seemed she ignored the knight entirely.

”My captain is a lancer, and my companion over there is her younger brother.”

”You fool, shut up once and for all!”

Beatrice squeezed the knight’s wound even harder, silencing him in his tracks.

”Stop interrupting, would you?”

He looked at her with a gaze full of contempt.

Then Ryan spoke again.

”And is she the one who sent you here? Or are these direct orders from the leader of that sect you call a Church?”

”No... our Lord Keeper remains in his kingdom, but even if he doesn’t know we are here, these are actually orders he would have given us if he knew the situation with the beastmen.”

’I figured as much. With people like that, there’s no way to negotiate, and sooner or later, we’ll have to fight. That’s why I won’t just stay at A-rank. I’ll break through every limit of my skills, and before Helen and Mirian return, I’ll already...’

Footsteps were heard.

Someone was running hard, coming down the cellar stairs.

”Ryan!”

He turned around.

”Irina. I thought you would be in hiding.”

She approached.

She looked at Beatrice with a frown.

”Does it bother you that she’s a demon?”

She said nothing.

She looked at him, then at the ground.

”What bothers me is that she’s a woman...” she murmured.

”What?”

The knight girl was still kneeling before Ryan just like an obedient puppy.

When Irina looked at the girl, her expression changed.

Then she looked at the other knight who was in front of Beatrice.

Irina approached him.

”That bastard...”

Without warning, she struck the holy knight.

”That bastard was the one who murdered my father!” A tear ran down her cheek as she finished the sentence.

”And that woman... both of them mocked him while they tortured him...”

The knight began to laugh.

’Dammit... so the King is dead... why didn’t the old man tell me anything?’

”Beatrice.”

When Ryan uttered her name, she struck the knight’s jaw, silencing him.

Beatrice looked at Ryan. Then she watched as Irina clenched her fists, her arms trembling.

Ryan nodded his head; words were not necessary.

Beatrice took Irina’s right hand and handed her the axe.

”You can do whatever you want with him. Go ahead,” Beatrice said as she handed over the weapon.

”What do you think you’re doing, you damned heretics? Your only chance of survival was letting us live and making a deal with our captain.”

”Ha ha ha ha. How absurd. After all this, now you’re going to beg for your life? How should I put it? Those of your kind are nothing but scum.”

Ryan clenched his right fist.

”From the moment we started this conversation, I already knew a negotiation with people like you wouldn’t work out.”

Ryan turned toward Irina.

”You can finish him. Your father’s death will now be avenged by your own hand. Do not hesitate.”

Then Irina grit her teeth with all her might.

Tears fell from her face; she raised the axe and let it fall upon the knight’s neck.

The knight groaned.

His blood began to spray.

She withdrew the axe and attacked again.

Once more, and then another, until the knight stopped moving.

She was about to launch one last attack, but Ryan stopped her hand.

She dropped the axe and fell to the floor.

She looked at Ryan with tears in her eyes and hugged him.

”It’s all right, you did well... your father would be proud.”

She clung to him tightly.

”For now, get out of here. Beatrice, accompany her outside.”

Then both of them left the cellar.

Now only Ryan remained in the room, along with the knight girl.

’This feeling is strange. I feel so angry...’

The effect had ended, but that girl was still on her knees, acting like a puppy.

Ryan crouched down in front of her.

”I don’t want to die...”

She said it as tears streamed from her eyes.

”I wonder how many elves and beastmen told you those exact words.”

”Please, let me live... I’ll give you everything I have...” She took a ring off her index finger. When she activated it, she pulled out a bow.

”A magic inventory?”

”Yes... I have my weapon in there. I stowed it before being captured... you can keep it. It’s a rare bow, but it’s worth a lot of money.”

Ryan pushed the bow aside.

”I’ll take it, but you should know... my companions use epic weapons. This won’t do me any good. Unless you have something more valuable...”

”No... that is all I have. You can keep the bow, the inventory... even my body, but please just let me go...”

Ryan took her face in his right hand.

He lifted it, forcing her to look him in the eyes.

”Tell me. I want to know how the Church is organized. I want you to tell me what skills that man called Keeper has. Your captain’s skills. And how many people make up each unit.”

The Debt skill was no longer active, but this girl wanted to live.

And Ryan knew it; now, whether she spoke or not would depend solely on that.

But despite everything, she could not recount the secrets of her organization.

She only mentioned that it was standard for each unit to be led by a captain.

And that the first six divisions had S-rank members.

But when she tried to go deeper, something prevented her from speaking. It was as if she had a void in her memories that stopped her from giving information about the kingdom or their hero, the one called Keeper.

”Unfortunately for you, that information is not enough.”

Ryan’s gloves ignited as he held the girl’s face.

”Gyaa!” The girl screamed as she felt the heat sear her skin.

She scrambled backward quickly and ended up against the wall.

Ryan approached her, his gaze cold and devoid of emotion.

’Although I didn’t plan on letting them live, I also didn’t expect that they would have killed the King...’

”Please... no... don’t kill me... I promise I will never hunt the elves or the beastmen again. I’ll tell my captain that Demon King Rigal killed everyone. She won’t come here... please...”

Ryan didn’t listen to her, and now that he was in front of her, he grabbed her throat with both hands, squeezing tightly and beginning to choke her.

She began to burn; she screamed, she kicked, she began to wet herself.

Until finally, she stopped moving.

Ryan looked down at the lifeless body.

He extended the palm of his hand in front of him.

The blood that had stuck to his gloves began to disintegrate under the heat of the fire.

”So, this is what it feels like to murder a human...?”
