I Became the Strongest Villain in One Piece

Chapter 157: SVOP: Chapter 157

Waiting until they were close to the shore, the two jumped one after another, landing on the shore together.

After stepping onto solid ground, Vladimir immediately turned around, saying to the mount, ”Open your mouth.”

Hearing these words, the lantern anglerfish immediately opened its big mouth, revealing a row of terrifying teeth.

”Catch this.”

Vladimir unloaded the package on his back, throwing it into the anglerfish’s mouth.

”Take good care of these, don’t bite through them.”

”Aren’t you afraid it’ll eat them all in one bite?” Shanks said in surprise from the side.

Those were Devil Fruits. Although there was a treasure chest protecting them, it would be fun if the anglerfish swallowed them in one gulp.

”My sea beast legion is absolutely loyal, no need to worry.”

Vladimir smiled, tightened the hood on his body, and turned to walk towards the depths of the island, ”Let’s go, let’s go find Hawkeye first.”

”Since you’re not worried, then I have nothing to say. Don’t forget about giving me one.”

”Don’t worry, I’ll leave one behind when we leave here.”

As they talked, the two walked towards the city.

The port city here wasn’t bustling, not as good as other places. There weren’t many people living on this island to begin with, but it seemed lively because Hawkeye had recently invited heroes from all over the world to battle.

Entering the city, Vladimir immediately saw many swordsmen, each with a long sword at their waist. Some were pirates, and some were simply swordsmen, and there were even bounty hunters.

With such a mixed bag, there was naturally no shortage of friction. As they walked along the way, Vladimir saw at least three fights.

”Where’s Hawkeye?” Vladimir asked.

”There’s a sword dojo here. Hawkeye should be there. Calculating the time, he should have arrived.”

Shanks followed closely, laughing softly, ”Speaking of which, do you know the difference between swordsman and great swordsman?”

”How are they divided?” Vladimir asked casually.

”Swordsmen are very common. Most people who use swords can call themselves that. Swordsmen are rarer. They can activate sword energy, injuring enemies from a distance. As for great swordsmen, there are even fewer. The power of one sword can split mountains and shatter rocks without saying a word.”

”I see.”

Vladimir nodded in understanding. In that case, Saber could also be considered a great swordsmen.

As they were walking, a lively scene suddenly appeared in front of them.

Two swordsmen, holding swords, were facing each other.

One of them was tall and mighty, standing with a katana. This person looked to be in his early thirties, with a small mustache.

And the other person was knocked flying, lying in a ruin, using a rapier, looking quite disheveled.

Vladimir stopped, stopping to watch, but saw that the ruin seemed to be a dojo, with a plaque hanging at the door.

”The sword dojo you mentioned, is it this one?”

”It’s here.” Shanks smiled helplessly, saying, ”They’re really fired up, they’ve even broken the dojo. In that case, Hawkeye isn’t here?”

As the two were talking, the two swordsmen in front of them clashed again, swords clashing, sword energy overflowing.

The rapier swordsman’s strength was slightly inferior, retreating step by step.

Many onlookers around clicked their tongues in comment.

”That’s the great swordsmen Sakaki Taro, known as ’Dragon Slayer Sword’. He once continuous beheading three evil dragons on Dragon Island, and ate the meat on the spot. His sword is one of the Twelve Supreme Grade Swords, the ’Dragon Blood Kokuo’ which has bathed in dragon blood.”

”As for the other one, it’s ’Rapier’ Aldrich, a pirate captain with a bounty of 480 million.”

”Why did these two start fighting?”

”They’re waiting for Hawkeye. Both of them wanted to enter the dojo to find Hawkeye, and as a result, they started fighting, and instead chopped the dojo.”

Many people were talking to each other, gloating over the development of the situation.

”Sakaki Taro?” Vladimir heard the conversation, and couldn’t help but mutter, ”I seem to have heard this name somewhere.”

”Legendary bounty hunter,” Shanks explained in a low voice from the side, ”One of the current great swordsmen, he once fought with one of Kaido’s three disasters, and left calmly. In the past two or three years, he’s captured pirates worth a total of at least 10 billion for the Navy.”

10 billion? That’s rich!

Vladimir realized for the first time that capturing pirates could be so profitable.

”His sword is really good. That rapier isn’t a match at all.” Vladimir said with interest.

”Of course, that pirate is just a swordsmen. A great swordsmen fighting a swordsmen is like playing. Sakaki Taro isn’t serious at all, he’s playing with the other party.”

Vladimir made a sound, suddenly walking slowly.

”What do you want to do?” Shanks had a bad premonition.

”I want that sword. The blade has dragon blood patterns, it’s very suitable for me.”

Vladimir strode away, stretching his muscles, seeming ready to take action at any time.

Seeing this, Shanks was stunned, ”Didn’t we agree to keep a low profile?”

He looked around, seeing that no one was paying attention to him, he immediately retreated quietly. He didn’t want to go crazy with Vladimir. Not many people had seen Vladimir’s face, but everyone recognized his face.

At this moment, inside the dojo ruins, the two swordsmen were still entangled in close combat.

Sakaki Taro stabbed straight with his sword, immediately activating invisible sword energy, instantly piercing space, drawing a distance of several ten meters.

Aldrich’s reaction was also very fast. He swung the rapier, directly guiding the other party’s sword energy, flicking it to another place.

”Not good!”

Suddenly, his expression changed slightly, seeing that the sword energy that had been guided away suddenly stabbed towards a cloaked person who was slowly walking over.

”Dodge if you don’t want to die!” Aldrich shouted loudly.

However, with this kind of high-speed slash, a warning was useless.

Seeing the cloaked man stop, from under the wide cloak, he stretched out his right palm.

The next moment, thud!

The slash was caught by this person with one hand, making a harsh sound, suddenly with a thud, it was actually crushed by brute force.
