I Became the Strongest Villain in One Piece

Chapter 151: SVOP: Chapter 151

”Is that so?”

”Don’t worry too much, there’s still time. This time, the person I’m most optimistic about is you. Only by becoming the leader of the Tontatta Giant Village can you realize your dream and change this place.”

”Actually, I want the Cursed Fruit,” the giant who hunted the ancient mammoth said in a deep voice.

Hearing this, the guard’s expression immediately changed, saying in a low voice, ”Shhh... That’s a taboo! We giants can’t eat that kind of thing. Do you want to die?”

The conversation ended there. The guard let them pass, allowing this group of people to enter the city, no, to be precise, the village.

Not far away, Vladimir was hiding in the weeds.

Saying they were weeds, they were actually 1.2 taller than Vladimir. After listening to the conversation between the two, his expression couldn’t help but be a little strange.

”Giant village? Hunting festival? Becoming the giant leader, which is the king?”

He thought to himself, ”There’s also the Cursed Fruit, which is the Devil Fruit. Giants can’t eat Devil Fruits?”

Speaking of which, he didn’t seem to have heard of any giants who had eaten Devil Fruits.

Just like the fish-man race, there were very few who had eaten Devil Fruits, except for Vander Decken back then.

”A little interesting. I have to find the current leader’s residence first. He definitely knows about the Devil Fruits!”

With a thought, Vladimir immediately transformed into a Shadow Demon.

Ethereal, like a phantom, he headed towards the village.

”It’s daytime now. The Shadow Demon can’t be used for a long time. Five minutes at most... I have to hurry!”

No one noticed that a wisp of faint black smoke drifted into their village.

Vladimir transformed into a Shadow Demon, drifting in the giant village.

Entering from the main gate, he advanced along the wide stone road, his speed was very fast, racing against time.

Before long, he arrived at a plaza. Here, Vladimir paused slightly.

In the center of the plaza, there was a huge statue, a hundred meters tall, which was a male giant, holding a beast tooth greatsword, majestic and strong.

In front of the statue, a group of giants were gathered, holding some kind of ceremony.

The most eye-catching was an elderly female giant, who was standing in front of the altar, mumbling something.

And behind the elderly female giant were more than a dozen giant children, although they were children, their height was over ten meters.

”This old woman has a very high position.” Vladimir was hiding in a shadow, quietly sizing up everything.

He discovered a characteristic. The giants here all had ornaments made of strung-together beast teeth hanging at their waists.

Like in the ancient tree forest, the giant who had been knocked unconscious by him had six beast teeth hanging.

The guard at the entrance of the giant village had eight, and the warriors who hunted the ancient mammoth mostly had six to nine.

And now, these children all had three. Only that old woman had a string, totaling twelve.

”Probably something that symbolizes status. Could this old woman be the leader?”

Because of her old age, the female giant who was busy sacrificing seemed sluggish in her movements, and looked very decrepit, probably not long for this world.

This made Vladimir very surprised, because the lifespan of giants was generally very high. A strong adult generally had 150 years, equivalent to humans aged 30 to 40.

Calculating like this, this old woman giant was probably over 400 years old.

”Baba, aren’t you done yet?”

At this time, a giant child shouted.

”Shhh!”

That old woman didn’t turn her head, still busy sacrificing, but said in a low voice, ”You must have respect. Standing before you is the great ancestor. At your coming-of-age ceremony, the ancestor will bestow blessings. You must be grateful.”

”It’s just a statue...” That child muttered.

Suddenly, the old woman turned her head and glared at him, scolding, ”The ancestor is the greatest warrior in our Tontatta Giant Village. His heroic deeds have even been written into the Poneglyph! You are still young and it’s understandable that you don’t understand, but you must have reverence.”

Hearing this, Vladimir opened his mouth, thinking in surprise, ”Written into the Poneglyph, this statue is a figure from 800 years ago?”

The Poneglyphs were written 800 years ago, recording the blank 100-year history. To be written in, it meant that this person was very powerful back then.

”Interesting, this giant village is a little different from ’Elbaf’.”

Vladimir’s eyes flickered, showing interest.

He hadn’t been to Elbaf, but he had heard rumors that the giants there were very irritable and war-loving, but the giants here seemed relatively gentle, however, they were very repelling to contact with the outside world.

Shaking his head, Vladimir turned to leave.

”There’s no time to stay here, I’ll find the leader’s residence first.”

Quietly leaving the plaza, Vladimir drifted into the sky, looking down at the entire village.

The giant village was very large, and most of the buildings were made of wood. However, in the northern direction, there was a large house made of giant stones.

Vladimir’s figure moved, immediately rushing towards that side.

Rushing all the way, he finally managed to sneak into the large house before the Shadow Demon’s time limit ended.

There weren’t any guards here, and it even seemed calm. After entering, Vladimir arrived at a long corridor.

” Illusion, scan.”

Vladimir changed back to human form, calling out to the Illusion Gene in his heart.

”Scanning... Scanning complete! Mysterious power discovered!”

”Really?” Vladimir paused, then said with joy, ”Where? How many?”
