The Invincible Strongest Student

Chapter 792: Chapter 792: Sales Performance

This was Bai Shishi’s first time sleeping with a man, and even though that man was Lin Tian, she still couldn’t entirely relax.

”You’re wearing so many clothes under such a thick blanket. You must be really hot, right? How about I help you take off one layer?”

Lin Tian quietly reached toward Bai Shishi.

”Ah! No! I’m not hot!”

”You’ll get heat rash like this, I promise, just take off one layer!”

”I’ll do it myself!”

”Alright.”

...

Half an hour later, Bai Shishi was almost stripped bare by that shameless rogue. She clung to her underwear as the last line of defense, thwarting Lin Tian’s attempt.

If those defenses were lost, she’d surely be devoured by this pervert today!

”Let’s just sleep like this...” Bai Shishi, wrapped in a blanket, curled up in the corner. Every inch of her skin was tense, except for her racing heart, ’thump thump thump’, making her seem like a wooden doll.

Lin Tian lay on his side, propping his head with one hand, and couldn’t help but chuckle at Bai Shishi’s awkward state.

Who would have thought that the normally imposing and commanding woman could also become so shy.

Lin Tian reached out again, and as soon as he touched Bai Shishi’s skin, she reacted as if electrocuted, her entire body trembled, and she stammered, ”N-no more undressing!”

”I won’t take anything off.” With a chuckle, Lin Tian reached deeper, wrapped his arm around Bai Shishi’s waist, and with a strong pull, Bai Shishi collided right into Lin Tian’s embrace.

”Just sleep while holding each other. I promise not to touch anywhere else.” Lin Tian blinked, smiling as he spoke.

Bai Shishi felt her mind go blank. How did she end up in his arms like this?

...

That night, Bai Shishi slept soundly and even had a beautifully bubbly dream... If it weren’t for the hands wandering over her body, she could have slept until she naturally woke up.

”Didn’t you say you wouldn’t touch me?”

”I wasn’t touching aimlessly, I was very serious!”

”Ugh...” Apart from sighing, Bai Shishi didn’t know what else to do; should she reach back?

It was already daylight, and the two of them snuggled for a while longer before getting out of bed. They made breakfast together with the ready-made ingredients in the fridge: milk, bread, eggs, and sausage.

While eating breakfast, Lin Tian casually asked, ”How are the wrinkle creams and all selling?”

”The three products you provided are selling really well, they’re now our company’s flagship products. But the sales channels we’re using are for luxury goods, so the quantities aren’t large. Every time they’re released, they sell out quickly, and we have more orders than we can handle; we’re almost out of stock. Besides our company, a lot of second-hand black market dealers are buying them in bulk to resell at higher prices once the market rate goes up.”

”The price for each bottle of the three medicines is 988, but they’re very hard to get. The second-hand black marketers are selling them for around fifteen hundred to two thousand.”

”That expensive?” Lin Tian’s eyes widened. Since he was the one who provided the formulas, he was well aware of the cost price. Considering labor, transportation, promotion, etc., the cost was about a hundred per bottle—ten times the markup, and it’s still in high demand; it’s insanely profitable.

This is just for one bottle, let alone the astronomical profits the rapid production speeds of modern industry could achieve through high volume sales.

”They’re luxury items, marketed as high-end, so this pricing is normal. Even if I doubled it, they’d still be in short supply.”

Lin Tian nodded thoughtfully; indeed, that’s the luxury goods strategy, the more expensive, the better they sell.

After sipping some milk, Bai Shishi continued, ”Also, stop calling them wrinkle cream or hair growth ointment; those names are way too down-to-earth, it’s laughable in the world of luxury.”

Lin Tian shrugged, smiling, ”Then what should they be called?”

”White Lotus Muscle Powder, Lingqi Wrinkle Cream, and Imperial Dome Hair Growth Agent. Got it?”

Lin Tian nodded with a smile.

Actually, the formulas each had their original names, but they were all quite obscure and hard to grasp. Like, who would know ’Elixir Platform Jade Case’ is a medical text?

So Lin Tian named them with the most down-to-earth names. Now that Bai Shishi had come up with fitting names, Lin Tian didn’t object.

As they talked about this, Bai Shishi seemed to remember something and asked, ”Recently, some military people approached my dad about collaborating with our company. But they need a hemostatic medicine, and I couldn’t contact you before so I forgot to ask, do you have such a formula?”

Lin Tian laughed, ”I was the one who got you connected. How could I not know?”

”You?” Bai Shishi’s eyes widened, but soon she understood and laughed, ”Of course. You’re not the fresh graduate from high school anymore. It’s quite normal for you to know military contacts. I have to admit, you did a great job this time, even managing to get the military to accept our products.”

Selling products to the military was a monumental step for Qiansimei. Bai Shishi had never heard of any skincare company partnering with the military.

That kind of backing is just incredible.

”I do have the formula for the hemostatic medicine, but a few of the ingredients need revising, I’ll give them to you tonight.”

”No worries, there’s no rush. The cost shouldn’t be high, right?”

”No, it’s not expensive. Like before, around a hundred per bottle, and it’s quite durable,” Lin Tian replied.

”That’s good.” Hearing this, Bai Shishi felt relieved instantly.

Selling products to the military isn’t primarily about profit; the prestige itself is invaluable! Even without monetary gains, this business is worth doing!

A successful businessperson must focus on long-term benefits.

After this discussion, Bai Shishi was visibly cheerful, even taking the initiative to wash the dishes. Lin Tian just sat at the table, smiling as he watched her.

”Silly smile.” After washing the dishes, Bai Shishi said, ”I’m heading back to the company now to finish the work at hand and plan to pick up your parents in a few days.”

Lin Tian nodded, ”Alright, be careful on the road.”

”By the way, how long does Ruyan need to recuperate?” Bai Shishi asked.

”Hmm... about a few days, I’ll prepare some medicine for her to recover.”

”Let me know as soon as she wakes up.”

”Sure.” Lin Tian hesitated a moment and then asked, ”Will you be coming over tonight?”

Bai Shishi’s face reddened again; this mischievous guy must have something up his sleeve.

”I don’t know, I might have to work late. You just sleep on your own!” With that, Bai Shishi quickened her pace, escaping from Lin Tian’s sight.
