Reincarnated as a Mosquito, I Sucked the Reborn Empress to Tears

Inside the huge cavern housing the Corpse Fiend.

The leading Demon God, Ling Han, stared at the mosquito carcass that had been crushed to a pulp on the floor. It then looked at the pile of Nibiru corpses, which was now less than half its original size, and its brow furrowed deeply.

”How in the world did this mosquito get in here?”

An Emperor-level Demon Lord carefully offered an explanation.

”Lord Demon God, our defenses here are impenetrable. It’s absolutely impossible for anything to have slipped in unnoticed.”

”There’s only one possibility: the mosquito came in with the Void Toad.”

”Impossible!” Ling Han Demon God cut it off, its face grim.

”When a Void Toad teleports through Space, anything on its surface is disintegrated into ions by the violent spatial turbulence.”

”How could an ordinary mosquito possibly cling to a Void Toad and survive the spatial teleportation process unscathed!”

The three Emperor-level Demon Lords exchanged a glance.

They whispered nervously amongst themselves for a good while.

Finally, they arrived at the only logical conclusion.

”Lord Demon God, perhaps the mosquito wasn’t clinging to the Void Toad’s body.”

”It’s more likely that it was hiding on one of the corpses the Void Toad was transporting.”

”Then, it was accidentally swallowed by the Void Toad.”

”Finally, it was regurgitated here along with the corpses.”

Ling Han Demon God fell silent.

It stared intently at the pulverized mosquito remains on the ground.

Ultimately, it had to accept this explanation, as it sounded the most plausible.

The corpses were already gone.

The mosquito was dead, too. There was no way to make it regurgitate the corpses.

The most pressing matter now was to find more corpses as quickly as possible to fill the gap in the Corpse Fiend’s refinement process.

”Send a message to Giant Eye Demon Lord,” Ling Han Demon God said coldly.

”Tell it that its failure to properly guard the corpses has delayed the Corpse Fiend’s refinement.”

”Tell it to get me another batch of corpses of the same quantity within three days.”

”Otherwise, it can deliver its own corpse to me!”

”Yes, Lord Demon God!”

After the three Demon Lords departed, Ling Han Demon God hesitated for a moment before sighing softly.

’Fine. I’ll pay Chi You Demon God a visit myself.’

’I’ll see if it can procure some Nibiru corpses from the front lines on Blue Star.’

With that thought, Ling Han Demon God activated Instant Teleportation and vanished from the cavern.

The next second, it appeared in the top-level cavern of the black mountain where Chi You Demon God resided.

”Ling Han Demon God, what brings you to my domain?” Chi You Demon God slowly opened its eyes, its voice cold.

Ling Han Demon God didn’t beat around the bush.

It told Chi You Demon God the whole story of how it had encountered a mosquito and lost more than half the corpses.

”A mosquito?” Chi You Demon God was taken aback.

”Did you kill it?”

Ling Han Demon God nodded.

After a moment of silence, Chi You Demon God spoke slowly. ”That mosquito was from Blue Star.”

”You knew about it all along?” Ling Han Demon God asked, surprised.

”I did.”

Chi You Demon God explained Chu Sheng’s origins.

”Since you’ve already killed him, that saves me a lot of trouble.”

”As for the matter of the corpses...”

Chi You Demon God shook its head.

”Blue Star’s will to resist is too strong right now.”

”Our armies are being pushed back continuously. We have no opportunity to retrieve any corpses.”

...

「Meanwhile.」

At the entrance to Village Number Eight.

A tall Nibiru with a tiger’s head and a humanoid body quietly entered.

’Is Teacher Chu... really from Blue Star?’

The tiger-headed Nibiru muttered to itself.

It had spoken in perfect, fluent Great Xia!

After asking around the village, it quickly located Chu Sheng’s cave.

After all, Chu Sheng was currently the most famous Nibiru in Village Number Eight, perhaps even in all of Drake City.

There was hardly a Nibiru who didn’t know of Teacher Chu.

The tiger-headed Nibiru walked to the entrance of the cave.

”Teacher Chu, are you there?”

Chu Sheng was in the Primordial Grotto Heaven, discussing the finer points of transferring the Celestial Tribulation with Immortal Venerable Shi Xi.

Hearing the voice outside, his consciousness immediately returned to his main body.

He walked out of the cave, puzzled.

Other than the ten Level One ”agents” he had recruited, no other Nibiru ever came looking for him.

”Can I help you?”

Chu Sheng asked, looking at the unfamiliar tiger-headed Nibiru before him.

The tiger-headed Nibiru sized Chu Sheng up.

Suddenly, it spoke in perfect Great Xia, ”I hear the moon is made of green cheese.”

Chu Sheng instinctively retorted, ”But the mice there are quite pricey!”

”I before E.”

”Except after C!”

With the simple exchange of code phrases complete,

Chu Sheng immediately realized.

The tiger-headed Nibiru before him was, without a doubt, one of his own people from Blue Star!

He quickly stepped aside, letting the tiger-headed Nibiru enter the cave.

”How did you get to the Nibiru homeworld?” Chu Sheng asked, confused.

”My name is Wang Dahu.”

The tiger-headed Nibiru introduced himself before recounting his story.

”Ten years ago, we were ordered to infiltrate the Alien Race’s military base in the Northern Territory.”

”We discovered the spatial coordinates to the Nibiru homeworld from the Purple Nether Demon Lord.”

”To find a permanent solution to the Alien Race problem, Emperor Qin led our team and teleported us here.”

Chu Sheng was stunned.

He recalled Luo Zhan once telling him something.

Many years ago, an elite squad from Great Xia infiltrated an Alien Race military base.

Then, they were never heard from again.

Everyone assumed they had been killed in action.

But it turned out they had come straight to the Alien Race’s main nest!

”How did you know I was from Blue Star?” Chu Sheng asked curiously.

Wang Dahu couldn’t help but laugh at the question.

”This pyramid scheme of yours was all the rage on Blue Star for a while.”

”We’ve been undercover on the Nibiru homeworld for ten years, and we have never seen any Nibiru use such a method to earn Outer Realm Crystals.”

”Plus, the spicy gluten sticks, sunflower seeds, and other snacks you’ve been selling are all unique to Blue Star.”

”We’ve suspected you for a long time.”

”We just came here today to confirm your identity.”

Chu Sheng nodded, the pieces falling into place.

’So that’s how it was.’

He then asked, ”You didn’t come looking for me just to confirm my identity, did you?”

Wang Dahu’s expression instantly grew solemn.

”That’s right.”

”We’ve been undercover on the Nibiru homeworld, constantly searching for a way to permanently stop the Alien Race invaders.”

”Unfortunately, after all this time, we still haven’t found the right opportunity.”

”A short while ago, we discovered by chance that they are secretly creating something called a ’Corpse Fiend’.”

”Once they succeed, it will undoubtedly be a devastating blow to Blue Star.”

”Unfortunately, all we could find out was the name: ’Corpse Fiend’.”

”We have no idea about its specific purpose, its creation site, or its level of power.”

”Of course, we’re not asking you to investigate.”

”After all, we haven’t been able to find out anything in ten years of infiltration.”

”It would be asking too much for you to investigate, seeing as you’ve only been here for a few days.”

Before Wang Dahu could finish, Chu Sheng calmly interrupted, ”I know the details about the Corpse Fiend.”

”Just a short while ago, I had a close encounter with it.”

”And I also happened to steal more than half of its food.”

Wang Dahu froze instantly.

His mouth fell open, and he stared blankly at Chu Sheng.

He was speechless for a long moment.

They had been undercover on the Nibiru homeworld for ten whole years!

They had risked life and limb, and all they had managed to find was the bare-bones name, ’Corpse Fiend’.

And how many days had Chu Sheng been on the Nibiru homeworld?

He’d already had a run-in with the Corpse Fiend?

And even managed to steal more than half of its food?

This was...

...unbelievably badass!!!
