Starting Out As The God of Beasts

In other to find answers to that he seeks. Roy ventured into the Divine Market once again.

At the moment, he had more than eight thousand Faith Points.

Five thousand he had received from the second invasion, and the other from his followers.

Little by little, citizens of Yeren City prayed to him.

His followers count was increasing everyday.

Roy flew hundreds of miles across the Hudeii Desert, away from the eyes of Norona and Tempest before returning back to his human form.

His sleek golden hair cascading down his waist, as he stood firmly.

He didn’t want distractions.

His eyes were fixed on the shimmering status window that floats before him.

[Accessing Phase 1]

In a haste, Roy skipped the Mortal Treasury section and went straight to the Bloodline Treasury section.

’This should be good’ he inhaled deeply, Roy clicked on the Sacred Potions icon.

Just like before, he could see dozens of divine potions listed but he scrolled down, skipping those he already came across before.

”Seventh-grade, Sixth-grade and Fifth-grade won’t get me what I desire” Roy affirmed.

He needed something to boost the cultivation of Eurenia and Alisa, he knew that those grades won’t be of help.

So he hurriedly skipped most Seventh-grade divine potions, Sixth-grade divine potions and Fifth-grade divine potions.

He suddenly stopped at a Fourth-grade divine potion.

’Hmmm.....this looks interesting’ Roy gently stroked his chin, ”Let’s check it out”

-Nine-Headed Shadow-Viper Elixir (Fourth-grade Divine Potion)

-Cost: 100 FP per unit

-Effect: This elixir completely reconstructs the nervous system and expands the internal dantian of the consumer. It accelerates the consumer’s cognitive processing speed by fivefold while executing stealth maneuvers.

-Utility: Elixir must be consumed seconds after devouring a viper in the dark.

’Hmmm’ Roy inhaled deeply, ’This is good but not as good as I need it to be, I should check other alternatives first’

’I’ll shop for Alisa first then shift my attention to Eurenia, Commander Trojan and Alpha Brenda’

’This guys are my core operatives, they need to grow stronger and faster at the same time’

Roy scrolled down to the next available divine position.

-Ghost-Silk Dantian Nectar (3rd-Grade Divine Potion)

-Cost: 200 FP per unit

-Effect: This nectar dissolves into consumer’s her arms, turning her muscle fibers into ”ghost silk”-making consumer’s physically movements completely silent, frictionless, and utterly untraceable by standard mana sensory arrays.

-Utility: Can only be consumed by entities with shadow affinity.

”This is also good but it’s not what I need now” Roy exhaled a deep sigh, he kept scroll until he laid his eyes on something appealing.

-Evolution Advancement Elixir (2nd-Grade Divine Potion)

-Cost: 500 FP per unit.

-Effect: Upon consumption of elixir, immediate evolution occurs, skipping all enlightenment stages and climbing to the next realm without side effects.

Utility: One-time consumable.

”This is it” Roy’s lips curled up, he has finally found what he needs, ”A second-grade divine potion huh?” he chuckled.

”If I purchase it in bulk, how much should it be?”

[You have made a purchase of 2800 Faith Points]

Roy purchased five units of the Evolution Advancement Elixir

He also purchased a single unit of both the Ghost-Silk Dantian Elixir and the Nine-Headed Shadow-Viper Elixir.

”This should upgrade Alisa to the level I need her to be” Roy smiled, he was done with Alisa....

Now he needed to focus on Eurenia.

He skipped several elixirs until he came across one that benefited Eurenia.

-Asura Blood-Flame Essence (3rd-Grade Divine Potion)

-Cost: 150 FP per unit.

-Effect: This essence directly synchronizes with consumer’s possessing flame-type active skill. Acting a massive fuel source for her cores, expanding her internal mana capacity

-Utility: Can only be used by consumers with Flame-affinity.

[You have made a purchase of 150 Faith Points]

”Good” Roy let’s out a satisfactory smile, ”Eurenia has both the Blood-Flame Armament skill and the Tempest Dragon Breath skill, it will surely increase the impact of her skills.”

He scrolled down again.

-Titan Bone-Tempering Marrow Elixir (2nd-Grade Divine Potion)

-Cost: 600 FP per unit

-Effect: This elixir alters the consumer’s physical density, allowing their body to absorb and neutralize heavy concussive impacts. It supports an already active physical augmentation, fusing the bones with dense kinetic alloys.

Utility: Can only be consumed by those with high reconstructive physique.

”Hmmm...” Roy gently stroked his chin, ”It supports an already active physical augmentation?”

”Does that mean it will aid the Blade Tempering Physique, expanding its durability against stronger foes?”

”Then i should get it” Roy grinned.

[You have made a purchase of 3000 Faith Points]

Roy purchased five units of the Titan Bone-Tempering Marrow elixir.

He was satisfied by his purchases.

Roy scrolled down to see an elixir fitting for Commander Trojan.

-Sun Purifying Elixir (3rd-Grace Divine Potion)

-Cost: 170 FP per unit.

-Effect: Upon digestion, it permanently increases the thermal and explosive density of consumer’s sun bloodline trait. Increasing the mana reserves by ten folds.

Utility: Can only be consumed by entities with Sun-affinity.

[You have made a purchase of 850 Faith Points]

Roy purchased 5 units of this elixir because he had seen a few promising Sun-Tiger Men excluding Commander Trojan.

For example, the two sons of Lord Manuses.

The next elixir he came across caught his attention since he needed to get something for Brenda.

-Feral Beast-King Essence (3rd-Grade Divine Potion)

-Utility: Can only be consumed by a canine beastman.

[You have made a purchase of 200 Faith Poins]

”I really spent a lot today” Roy inhaled deeply, ”But it’s for the sake of my followers”

”This is an investment” he logged out of the Divine Market, his conciousness returned back to the desert.

Roy turned his attention to the Beadt-stage F-class Abomination charging at him at lightning speed.

His lips curled faintly, ”Once I ascend into a True God, I won’t be able to directly interfere with the mortal world”

His eyes flickered for a second.

”This is.....”

The sand beneath his feet violently shuddered.

ROAR—!!

A deafening, dual-toned screech tore through the air as the massive dune to his left exploded outward in a massive shower of grit and rock.

A monstrous, fifteen-meter-tall Two-Headed Red Skinned Bear Beast burst from the earth.

Its leathery, crimson hide was lined with jagged bone protrusions, and both of its colossal heads snapped open, exposing rows of yellowed, saber-like tusks.

Driven by a maddened, feral hunger, the high-tier beast locked its bloodshot eyes onto the solitary human, reared back on its massive hind legs, and brought its mountain-like paws descending straight toward Roy’s skull.

The sheer weight of its descent caused the air pressure to drop, a violent gale of wind flattening the sand in a thirty-meter radius.

”Interesting” a chuckle escaped his lips.

Roy didn’t step back.

He didn’t blink.

His expression remained entirely vacant, his dual-colored eyes cold and completely detached, as if staring at a minor insect crawling across an unimportant draft.

In that moment, the Beast-stage F-class Abomination shrieked, Roy’s crimson divine energy flared.

[You have consumed 5 Divine Essence]

This was the first time he was testing his prowess as a False God, he could easily decimate the Beast stage F-class Abomination with just physical strength.

But he chose to utilize his divine energy.

He slowly pulled his right hand out of the pocket of his coat.

”This should be enough right?” Roy mumbled, his eyes calculating the exact amount of power he needed to unleash.

With a completely casual, effortless motion, he stretched his arm forward, pointing a single finger toward the descending jaws of the monster.

From the tip of his finger, a tiny, microscopic fragment of his crimson divine energy flickered into existence.

ZWIIING—

The world went deathly silent for a fraction of a second, the natural laws of the environment completely buckling under the weight of an unholy, absolute authority.

Then, the fragment erupted.

A blinding, cataclysmic pillar of raw, crimson light exploded outward, tearing through the air with a high-pitched, screeching hum that sounded like space itself being ripped apart.

The moment the divine light touched the bear beast, the destruction was instant and absolute.

Within the first millisecond, the beast’s dense, iron-hard crimson hide vanished, turned to microscopic ash.

The roiling, dark red energy flooded through its massive muscular structure, its nervous system, and its bone marrow, systematically destabilizing its physical data parameters.

The beast didn’t even have time to scream.

In less than three seconds, the entire fifteen-meter-tall apex predator was entirely annihilated, dissolved into a cloud of colorless, drifting atoms before the shockwave even reached its tail.

The true catastrophe, however, was the environmental backlash.

The stray, leftover kinetic waves from the crimson fragment slammed into the desert floor.

A colossal, horizontal shockwave tore outward, completely erasing the massive, towering sand dunes for three kilometers in every direction.

The orange sands didn’t just scatter—the sheer, unimaginable heat and pressure of the divine energy instantly melted the desert floor, transforming the rolling dunes into a massive, jagged crater of smooth, glowing red volcanic glass.

The sky above split open, the clouds violently parted by the upward thermal draft, leaving a massive, perfectly circular void in the atmosphere directly over Roy’s head.

As the roaring winds finally began to die down, the newly formed glass crater hissed violently, sending plumes of white steam into the ruined sky.

In the absolute center of this apocalyptic wasteland stood Roy.

”Ah” Roy exhaled a soft chuckle, ”To think I overdid it”

His hand slowly slipped back into his coat pocket, his golden hair settling back over his shoulders, completely untouched by the devastation he had just unleashed with a mere flick of his finger.

”I’m truly beyond the realm of these mortals”
