Urban Supreme Evil Young Master

A moment later, the phone on the control console rang. Hearing the ringtone, Lu Yu’s gaze shifted, and he immediately pressed the call button.

”My lord, all data has been copied!”

The moment the call connected, Marcus’s voice came through. ”What’s the next step?”

Marcus’s voice came from the phone, carrying a faintly respectful tone of inquiry.

”Have the Alliance sift through that information and pick out a man named Jiang Le Kang. At the same time, bring three squads with you and come to me.”

Now that Jiang Qiguang was dead according to his plan, Lu Yu directly pointed the spear at Jiang Tianyi’s eldest son, Jiang Le Kang!

In order to preserve the Jiang Family’s strength, Jiang Tianyi had actually sent people to kill his own son. As correct as that move was, it was also chilling to the core!

As the saying goes, when the lips are gone, the teeth feel the cold. To sacrifice his own flesh and blood for the family’s interests—however ”right” that might be, it was utterly cold and merciless.

Doing something like that would absolutely make Jiang Le Kang feel an icy terror right down to his bones.

After all, even a vicious tiger doesn’t eat its cubs!

With that in mind, Lu Yu planned to use Jiang Le Kang as his breakthrough point, to replace Jiang Qiguang’s position!

”Yes, my lord!”

Hearing Lu Yu’s words, Marcus’s voice came over the phone at this moment. He immediately said, ”I’ll make the arrangements at once. We’ll arrive where you are by tomorrow!”

”Very good.”

At that, Lu Yu nodded, then said, ”Remember to notify headquarters and have them send me all of Jiang Le Kang’s files.”

”No problem.”

Hearing this, Marcus replied respectfully.

”Mm, get some rest first.”

Speaking calmly, the corners of Lu Yu’s mouth lifted slightly, and he added, ”You need plenty of energy before you do anything.”

”Thank you for your concern, my lord.”

Hearing Lu Yu’s words, Marcus said, ”After I’ve rested, I’ll make sure to handle this matter properly.”

”Mm.”

With that, Lu Yu gave a brief response and directly hung up the phone.

”Alright, the arrangements are made.”

After hanging up, Lu Yu said coolly, ”Next, it’s time to deal with Shadow Sword.”

”Qin Ge, tonight I’ll make you understand just how stupid a decision you made.”

As he spoke, Lu Yu’s eyes locked onto the archive room on the eighth floor displayed on the screen. The corners of his mouth lifted slightly, a trace of a cold smile flashing in his gaze.

You had to know, for an organization like Shadow Sword, its core was that massive database. It was precisely because of that database that Shadow Sword could achieve its near-omniscient reach!

Right now, if he did something to Shadow Sword’s database, it would be the same as gouging out Shadow Sword’s eyes. Once that happened, Shadow Sword’s capabilities would be drastically reduced!

Lu Yu had said he’d make Qin Ge realize within twelve hours what an idiotic decision he’d made. There was still plenty of time, so naturally he intended to leave Qin Ge with a ”good impression”!

With that thought, Lu Yu slowly started walking toward the archive room on the eighth floor.

...

Because he had already disabled all of the database’s defenses from the main control room, and had also shut down the alarms for the entire building, Lu Yu reached the database without much effort.

This floor’s data archive was extremely secure. Everything inside was fully digitized. Row upon row of large data-storage terminals stood there, densely packed as far as the eye could see—enough to show how detailed Shadow Sword’s database really was!

All of these data terminals were connected to a large central computer.

This computer was unlike ordinary machines; it possessed extremely powerful processing capability and could instantly pull the corresponding information from the vast database!

With technology like this managing it, Shadow Sword’s information-gathering prowess was obvious at a glance!

Taking in the scene before him, Lu Yu stepped forward and came to stand in front of the massive computer. After lightly operating it a few times, a dialog box instantly popped up on the screen: Authorization required!

The moment that dialog box appeared, a fingerprint collection panel rose up from the desktop beside it.

Seeing this panel, the corners of Lu Yu’s mouth lifted slightly. He placed his palm on the panel.

Beep!

The instant Lu Yu’s hand pressed down on the panel, a crisp electronic chime sounded. A light curtain swept across, scanning Lu Yu’s palm.

”Authorization successful. Welcome, Group Leader Qin!”

As soon as authorization was granted, a clear electronic voice sounded.

Immediately, the dialog box on the computer screen vanished, replaced by an enormous database system!

Seeing the database appear, Lu Yu couldn’t help but smile. Staring at the massive database in front of him, he didn’t bother searching for anything. Instead, he began looking for the database’s emergency options.

Lu Yu had already had the Assassin Alliance copy all the information stored here, so he was in no rush to go over the content now.

He would have more than enough time to slowly go through it later.

After finding the emergency options, Lu Yu went straight in. A moment of searching later, he found the self-destruct option, and the smile in his eyes grew even deeper.

”Qin Ge, I guarantee that after this, you’ll regret it so much your guts turn green.”

Lu Yu spoke slowly, his voice icy, with a hint of amusement.

With that, he directly pressed the database’s self-destruct program.

Buzz!

As Lu Yu hit the self-destruct command, a dialog box suddenly popped up: Once this destruction is initiated, it cannot be reversed. Continue?

”Irreversible?”

Seeing this, Lu Yu gave a faint smile and said, ”Irreversible is exactly what I want.”

With that, he pressed ”Yes” without the slightest hesitation!

Buzz!

The moment Lu Yu hit the button, the massive central computer roared to life, emitting a deep, heavy hum.

At once, all the data terminals lit up at once. The information in the main database began deleting itself at extreme speed. At a glance, the deletion was so fast it was impossible to react!

Seeing this, the corners of Lu Yu’s mouth lifted slightly. At this moment, he slowly straightened up and walked out of the archive room.

With the information in the database completely destroyed, this was an irreparable loss to Shadow Sword. Having accomplished that, Lu Yu could now leave!

With things done to this extent, it was enough to make Qin Ge regret it until his guts turned green. After all, in just one night, all the results of the years Qin Ge had spent building this up had completely gone down the drain!
