Urban Supreme Evil Young Master

The night was terrifyingly deep.

Far from the dazzling and enchanting nightscape of Lin’an City, it was replaced by the endless blackness of the suburbs, where the scattered lights in the distance appeared particularly ethereal in the night, making it even more profound and distant.

At this moment, Lu Yu drove away from the scenic area, speeding along the expressway on the outskirts of Lin’an City, headed towards the long-abandoned industrial park of Lin’an City.

Since that scout was sent to investigate my movements, there must be a fixed time for his return. Once the time arrives and that scout is still missing, the remaining fourteen members of the Black Cross Vanguard Army will surely sense something amiss, thereby realizing my cover is blown and changing positions!

Therefore, what Lu Yu had to do now was to fight a quick battle, to reach the industrial park of Lin’an City as fast as possible and force information about the arrival time of the reinforcements from the Dark Sanctuary!

The Dark Sanctuary had contested against the Assassin Alliance for many years, with their strengths nearly equal, which in itself was a very frightening thing.

Moreover, since I have declared war on the Zhou Family, Lu Yu needed to be prepared in advance to avoid being attacked from all sides when the time comes!

Given these circumstances, Lu Yu must know their exact arrival time to plan his next steps!

A wise man deliberates before taking action, but a fool only knows reckless endeavors; Lu Yu was no fool, so he needed to prepare fully now!

With this in mind, Lu Yu didn’t hesitate any longer, pressing the accelerator to the floor and speeding towards the industrial park of Lin’an City!

Twenty minutes later, at the industrial park on the outskirts of Lin’an City, Lu Yu parked his car not far from the industrial park and got out on foot, walking towards the depths of the park.

This industrial park had been one of the first to be built during Lin’an City’s rise last century. It was glorious at the time, but with societal progress and changing times, Lin’an City’s new industrial park had replaced it. Most enterprises gradually left, leaving it completely abandoned now.

The industrial park was pitch black at this moment, without a trace of light, resembling a ghost town. The wind passed through the buildings, bringing along a wailing sound.

The wailing sound was like the sobbing of ghosts, intermittent and chilling, raising goosebumps!

However, as Lu Yu moved carefully through the industrial park, he wasn’t fazed by the surrounding environment. He was searching for the building where the Black Cross Vanguard Army was hiding!

As the finest reconnaissance team under the Dark Sanctuary, the Black Cross Vanguard Army was not only well-equipped but also extremely professional. Even in an area as desolate as this, it was inevitable that they would set up sentries in some buildings!

Silently walking through the darkness, Lu Yu was like a venomous snake hunting in the night, making no sound, stealthy and lethal!

Sand!

A gust of wind suddenly blew by, causing a wailing sound as well as a faint noise from beside one of the buildings.

Hearing this noise, Lu Yu’s heart moved, and he climbed onto a low wall, looking towards where the sound originated.

He saw a man dressed entirely in black, fully armed, crouching in a corner. In his hands was a black M4, aimed firmly at the building’s only entrance, looking very mysterious.

Seeing this, Lu Yu couldn’t help but smile, knowing the man was in a perfect blind spot for the entrance.

With the additional cover of his black outfit, without night vision or thermal imaging, it would be impossible to locate him in such darkness!

Seeing this, Lu Yu’s lips curled into a cold smile. His hand moved and shaped into something like a beast’s claw, leaping towards the man without hesitation!

This leap was silent, like a cat’s, before the man had any time to react. His sharp nails slashed open the man’s throat, killing him instantly!

The man’s body went still as his throat was slashed open by Lu Yu’s beast-like hand. At the same time, a faint scent of blood silently spread, adding to the eerie feeling in the night.

After killing the man, Lu Yu didn’t rush to enter through the building’s door. Instead, he crouched down, removed the earpiece from the man’s ear, and placed it on his own.

The saying goes, know your enemy and yourself, and you will never be defeated. Once he was privy to their communications, they wouldn’t be able to find him!

With the earpiece on, Lu Yu climbed up the side of the building to the top, moving swiftly with no pause.

Even ordinary people knew to have patrolling guards in buildings; the Black Cross Vanguard Army, having been rigorously trained, would undoubtedly have someone lying in ambush.

Thus, Lu Yu abandoned the front gate and chose to climb!

Upon reaching the rooftop, Lu Yu noticed a faint light coming from inside.

He carefully peered in through a window and saw a brawny, bald man seated inside, busy operating a laptop.

Inside the room, members of the Black Cross Vanguard Army, each holding an M4, were gathered together.

Counting carefully, there were exactly thirteen, each with a serious look, maintaining a high level of alertness.

Clearly, aside from the sentry Lu Yu had just taken out, all the Black Cross Vanguard Army members were gathered here!

With this realization, Lu Yu’s brows furrowed slightly, revealing a trace of coldness in his expression.

Their defensive setup was obviously well-considered. First, they stationed a man as a sentry to guard the only entrance to the building, while the rest stayed on the same floor.

Such an arrangement, whether infiltrating or entering from the front, would always result in a direct confrontation, greatly reducing the chances of someone sneaking in for a decapitation strike!

Seeing this, Lu Yu’s eyes flickered with a cold gleam. He instinctively touched the Rope-Curled Sword at his waist, silently thinking, ”This forces me to attack head-on!”

With thirteen of them together, there was no visual blind spot to exploit, making it very troublesome!

In such situations, the only option besides a frontal assault is an all-out attack!

With this thought, just as Lu Yu was about to act, a man suddenly stepped forward, approaching the window.

Seeing this, Lu Yu’s heart skipped a beat, and a thought surged into his mind!
