Urban Supreme Evil Young Master

At eight o’clock in the evening, a storm that had been brewing all day in Lin’an City finally poured down amidst a shocking clap of thunder. The rain poured relentlessly, accompanied by lightning in the crimson sky, giving a sense of impending oppression.

At this moment, Lu Yu was driving slowly towards the community where he lived, feeling very downcast. Recalling the news from Snake earlier, he felt a wave of helplessness.

Now, things were getting increasingly complicated; he hadn’t even resolved his family matters, and the Dark Sanctuary, the rival of the Assassin Alliance, suddenly declared war on them comprehensively.

Not only that, but he also became the primary target of their assassination, which made Lu Yu feel extremely helpless.

Outside the car, the heavy rain poured down, with raindrops continuously hitting the car, making a clattering sound that added to the sense of chaos.

Listening to this noisy sound, Lu Yu felt a sudden surge of irritation for no reason. He accelerated abruptly and drove back to his residence downstairs, just about to get out of the car to go home.

However, as soon as Lu Yu got out of the car, an unexpected change occurred.

Splash! Splash! Splash!

At this moment, with the sound of water stomping coming through, seven or eight men in black raincoats suddenly rushed up, surrounding Lu Yu in an instant!

Evidently, these people had been lurking here for a long time, just waiting for him to return.

”Are you Lu Yu?”

Upon seeing Lu Yu, the leading man spoke up, his words carrying a trace of coldness amidst the pouring rain: ”We need you to come with us to accept an investigation!”

Not this again?

Hearing the man’s words, a cold glint flashed in Lu Yu’s eyes. He looked at the man in front of him, completely disregarding his rain-soaked clothes, and said, ”Who are you?”

”Lin’an City Prosecution Office!”

Hearing Lu Yu’s words, the man replied, with a hint of arrogance in his tone.

”Lin’an City Prosecution Office?”

Upon hearing this, a sharp gleam flashed in Lu Yu’s eyes. He scanned the men surrounding him and noticed each of their right hands was placed behind their backs.

Although they wore raincoats, it was still evident that these men were very robust, unlike typical prosecution office enforcement personnel.

”I want to see your identification!”

Seeing this, Lu Yu squinted, a sharp gleam in his eyes: ”And you’d better show me an arrest warrant!”

”Still daring to negotiate with me!?”

Hearing this, the man sneered, swiftly took out his ID, gave Lu Yu a cursory look, then took out an arrest warrant sealed in a waterproof plastic bag, placed it directly in front of Lu Yu, and said, ”Open your eyes and take a good look!”

Seeing the prosecution office’s arrest warrant, a cold glint flashed in Lu Yu’s eyes because the arrest warrant in front of him was completely genuine!

Upon seeing the blood-red and extremely fresh seal, Lu Yu frowned slightly.

The seal had been stamped very recently, and the ink was so fresh that it left marks on the plastic bag!

He had never had any conflict with the Lin’an City Prosecution Office, yet the office issued such a fresh arrest warrant, coupled with these robust individuals surrounding him, clearly trained to some extent, they were definitely not prosecution office personnel!

Clearly, someone was impersonating the Lin’an City Prosecution Office to take action against him!

Thinking of this, Lu Yu moved his body, wanting to take a closer look.

”Don’t move!”

However, just as Lu Yu moved, the surrounding men shouted sternly, simultaneously pulling out guns and aiming at Lu Yu, appearing extremely tense.

When these men drew their guns, the movement was swift and natural. Moreover, at the moment of drawing, their fingers flicked lightly to disengage the safety locks, looking extremely skilled, evidently firearm experts!

Generally, prosecution office enforcement personnel, although qualified to carry guns, rarely have chances to fire them, and are usually very unfamiliar with them, certainly not possessing such skill level, let alone being experts.

Therefore, just with these details, Lu Yu could ascertain that these people were definitely not Lin’an City Prosecution Office enforcement personnel!

At the moment, with pouring rain, and Lu Yu at gunpoint, the tension at the scene reached its peak!

Rumble!

Suddenly, a clap of thunder rumbled across the sky, making these men’s nerves even more taut. Lu Yu’s formidable reputation, they all understood before coming here, so they were also extremely nervous.

”In that case...”

Seeing the dark muzzles, Lu Yu displayed a cold smile and calmly said, ”I’ll go with you.”

These people wore prosecution office enforcement uniforms, fully equipped with procedural weapons, evidently not in disguise, yet Lu Yu couldn’t figure out who might have managed to acquire such legitimate documents and wanted to strike a blow against him!

However, although uncertain at the moment, Lu Yu didn’t feel rushed. All he needed was to take a trip with these people, then he would instantly know who was behind this.

His words carried a sense of reserved amusement.

”Take him away!”

Upon hearing Lu Yu’s words, the leading man nodded and instructed the surrounding men.

The moment he finished speaking, two men immediately advanced to restrain Lu Yu’s arms.

”No need to bother!”

The instant they grabbed his arm, Lu Yu shook his arm vigorously, instantly shaking off the two men’s grip, while stepping towards the outside.

Seeing this scene, the leading man was momentarily stunned, and by the time he realized, Lu Yu had already walked several meters away.

Seeing this, the men quickly surrounded Lu Yu again, escorting him towards the outside of the community.

Outside the community, there was a small bus, specially modified by the prosecution office for transporting suspects, very spacious inside.

Once on board, Lu Yu was immediately surrounded by several men, each still gripping their guns tightly, with serious expressions, appearing highly vigilant, evidently well-prepared against Lu Yu.

However, after all these men boarded, none of them noticed that their every move was being clearly recorded by a surveillance camera at the community entrance.
