Urban Supreme Evil Young Master

Upon entering the reception room, Leng Qingqiu was already seated inside, facing a young man in a black suit with a handsome face.

The young man had a tall and straight figure, looking particularly dashing and elegant in his black suit. His face was exceptionally fair, with skin better than some girls!

Strictly speaking, the young man in front of them couldn’t be merely described as handsome; he should be called beautiful!

For a man, handsome is definitely a compliment, but being described as beautiful might carry a slight connotation of ridicule.

Beside the young man was a man wearing glasses with golden frames and dressed in a suit. He looked composed, with a hint of arrogance, clearly someone of a managerial position.

When Lu Yu entered, Leng Qingqiu nodded and said, ”Lu Yu, you arrived just in time. This is the most popular movie star at the moment, Mr. Yang Zhenyu. He’s here to discuss endorsing our high-tech products.”

Leng Qingqiu spoke in his usual calm manner, without any emotional fluctuation, giving off an aloof feeling.

Yang Zhenyu?

The name made Lu Yu’s body slightly tremble, not for any particular reason other than he had heard of this person before.

With the advancement of news today, many news updates can be seen on the phone daily, and Yang Zhenyu is often in these updates.

Throwing his weight around, lacking acting skills, astronomical fees...

Whenever Yang Zhenyu’s name is involved, these descriptions are always present, so it’s no wonder Lu Yu is very familiar with his name.

The Yang Zhenyu in front of them was obviously a pretty face relying on looks — the kind currently ridiculed as the shallow young idols.

Lu Yu usually didn’t care about such people but, out of politeness, he offered his hand and greeted Yang Zhenyu, ”So it’s Mr. Yang, hello.”

”Mr. Yang, this is Manager Lu from our Group,”

Seeing Lu Yu greet Yang Zhenyu, Leng Qingqiu introduced them from the side.

”Oh, hello.”

Upon hearing Lu Yu’s words, Yang Zhenyu slowly extended his hand, lightly grasping Lu Yu’s palm and shaking it slightly, considering that as a handshake.

Seeing Yang Zhenyu’s demeanor, Lu Yu’s eyes narrowed slightly with a trace of coldness.

Reaching out for a handshake as a gesture of goodwill, Yang’s action was indeed very arrogant.

Yet, Lu Yu did not react harshly to such behavior at the moment. After all, Yang Zhenyu was invited by Leng Qingqiu, so Lu Yu refrained from disputing with Yang Zhenyu.

After the brief introduction, Lu Yu gently walked to Leng Qingqiu’s side, appearing very composed.

”President Leng, since the person you were waiting for has arrived, shall we now start the negotiation regarding the cooperation?”

Having seen Lu Yu sit down, Yang Zhenyu’s manager spoke.

The manager’s words carried a hint of arrogance, which was quite displeasing.

”Naturally,”

Upon hearing the manager’s words, Leng Qingqiu said, ”My intention for inviting you both is clear, we want to have Mr. Yang Zhenyu as the spokesperson for Victory Group’s future products, to create momentum for our new products’ launch and promotion.”

The launch of new products often requires extensive activities for publicity, and advertisements are indispensable. Utilizing the celebrity effect is definitely the most wise choice.

”President Leng’s intention is clear to us,”

Upon hearing Leng Qingqiu’s words, Yang Zhenyu’s manager said, ”Victory Group is a powerful company, and we’re willing to help promote and create momentum for your company’s products, so we came to discuss the remuneration this time.”

Yang Zhenyu’s manager was very straightforward, jumping directly to discussing payment without excess pleasantries.

Upon hearing the manager’s words, a flash of sharpness crossed Lu Yu’s eyes. Without asking about the product or understanding other information, they immediately talked about pay, really making it hard for him to associate Yang Zhenning with being an actual star.

Compared to a celebrity, Yang Zhenyu seemed more like a miser who’s never seen money.

”The remuneration is certainly not an issue,”

Leng Qingqiu said as he placed a pre-drafted contract on the table, ”The remuneration I offer for Mr. Yang Zhenyu is certainly based on the current top movie stars’ pay — ten million over two years!”

”Hehe,”

Upon hearing this, Yang Zhenyu’s manager smiled slightly, not even touching the contract provided by Leng Qingqiu, and said, ”President Leng’s remuneration is good, but for Mr. Yang, it’s still a bit too low...”

Too low?

Upon hearing this, Leng Qingqiu’s brow furrowed. She looked at Yang Zhenyu and then at the manager beside him, appearing very displeased.

And at the side, Lu Yu, upon hearing this, his face showed a trace of coldness.

Two-year endorsement fee of ten million, such remuneration is quite substantial. It’s known that some seasoned popular movie stars don’t even get ten million in two years!

However, Yang Zhenning, as a trending idol, surprisingly considered such a payment low, shocking both Lu Yu and Leng Qingqiu.

”If that’s the case,”

Hearing this, Lu Yu slowly spoke, ”I’d like to know, what is the remuneration you all have in mind?”

In that moment, ice-coldness emerged in Lu Yu’s words, as he didn’t use respectful terms but directly referred to them as ’you all,’ clearly showing his displeasure.

As soon as those words were spoken, Yang Zhenyu’s manager glanced at Yang Zhenyu, then slightly smiled, raising three fingers, and said, ”Thirty million! Thirty million over two years!”

Thirty million over two years!

Upon hearing this, Leng Qingqiu was utterly shocked — such a price was purely a ridiculous demand!

This is for shooting an advertisement, doing commercial promotion — usually, the investment isn’t significantly high. Ten million endorsement fees are already very expensive; thirty million over two years is entirely a greedy ask.

It’s known that even some superstar endorsers’ fees are merely twenty million over two years!
