Urban Supreme Evil Young Master

Sell out to that so-called ’organization’?

Upon hearing this, Leng Qingqiu’s body stiffened, and a trace of surprise shone in her clear and bright eyes. She never thought in a million years that there would be someone in this world who would betray their savior!

As if sensing Leng Qingqiu’s shock, Lu Yu glanced slightly and continued speaking, ”I still remember the scene of being surrounded by that prisoner I saved, along with a group of people dressed like fully armed mercenaries in black uniforms!”

As he said this, Lu Yu squinted his eyes slightly and recalled that scene from his memory again.

He had clearly saved that man’s life, yet he was betrayed by him in return. The feeling was truly like the cold, biting wind in the middle of winter!

Up until now, Lu Yu still remembered his surprised expression at that time!

Even he didn’t expect that the man he saved would betray him!

”How could he return kindness with enmity!?”

Hearing Lu Yu’s words, Leng Qingqiu said, ”You saved him when he was severely injured, how could he betray you afterward?”

Now Leng Qingqiu also felt incredibly astonished. Even though she’s used to the business world being like a battlefield, she had never seen someone repay kindness with malice like this!

”You’re still too young.”

Hearing Leng Qingqiu’s words, Lu Yu shook his head with a smile and said, ”On an isolated island, the malice within a person’s heart can be magnified countless times. At that time, for personal gain, people would stop at nothing, caring not at all if the other was their savior!”

As he spoke, Lu Yu’s voice was very calm, his words lightly stated, as if he were narrating something very simple.

But only after experiencing it firsthand did Lu Yu know how shocked and angry he truly was at the time!

”And then?”

After being internally shaken for a few minutes, Leng Qingqiu continued, ”What happened next?”

”And then?”

Upon hearing this, Lu Yu smiled slightly and said, ”Faced with so many guns pointed at me, I naturally had to surrender and became their prisoner, code name Thirty-two! Just like you heard earlier, Prisoner No. 32!”

Upon hearing this, Leng Qingqiu’s heart skipped a beat harshly, and looking at Lu Yu again, her eyes revealed a complex emotion.

So, that’s how Lu Yu’s code name as Prisoner No. 32 came to be!

”And then? After you became a prisoner?”

Slowly opening her mouth, Leng Qingqiu asked, now feeling an even stronger curiosity about Lu Yu: ”Where did you get those combat skills?”

Although Leng Qingqiu doesn’t quite understand fighting and combat, she’s no fool.

Engaging in combat with beasts might train one’s skills, but the combat skills and techniques Lu Yu displayed earlier were not something that could be learned just from fighting beasts!

Clean and swift, attacking with lethal precision, and killing without hesitation, that definitely couldn’t be learned merely from beast combat!

After all, killing an animal and killing a human are entirely different!

Most people can bring themselves to kill an animal, but killing a human is something entirely different!

Afterward, there’s often extreme terror and fear, even a ruthless killer couldn’t kill without blinking.

And Lu Yu’s manner of killing as if he were crushing an ant, that definitely wasn’t learned from beast combat on an island!

Before her, Lu Yu must have more untold stories.

Hearing Leng Qingqiu’s question, Lu Yu smiled slightly, shook his head, looked at Leng Qingqiu, and said, ”Have you heard of the gladiators from the Ancient Roman Colosseum?”

Gladiator?

Upon hearing this, Leng Qingqiu’s body froze. She certainly knew about gladiators, a profession that emerged from combat and slaughter, living on the edge of survival!

”Lu Yu, could it be...”

Thinking of this, Leng Qingqiu instantly understood and looked at Lu Yu, astonishment shining in her eyes.

Now Leng Qingqiu roughly understood where Lu Yu’s combat techniques originated!

”On Paradise Island, prisoners were divided into two types: one was laborers responsible for growing vegetables and plants used to produce raw materials for prohibited drugs.”

Hearing Leng Qingqiu’s words, Lu Yu paused slightly and then said, ”The other was death row prisoners who engaged in constant combat, and I belonged to the death row prisoners!”

”Death row prisoner?”

Upon hearing Lu Yu’s words, Leng Qingqiu was utterly astonished, looking at him and asking, ”Like the gladiators?”

”Even more brutal than gladiators!”

Hearing Leng Qingqiu’s words, Lu Yu spoke in a low voice, ”As a death row prisoner, to eat, one had to fight every day, and the fight had to end with one side’s death. Moreover, the more fights you won a day, the better the food you got!”

As he spoke, images of brutal and bloody underground cage fights flashed in Lu Yu’s mind, memories he least wanted to recall!

”At first, I was very resistant to these things. After all, I had never killed anyone before.”

Seeing Leng Qingqiu remain silent, Lu Yu spoke with a voice as dark as water, slowly recounting his past: ”But later, severe hunger and dehydration forced me to fight!”

”Then”

Hearing Lu Yu’s words, Leng Qingqiu, with an exceptionally low voice, thought for a while, then lifted her gaze and asked Lu Yu, ”How many people did you end up killing?”

Clean, swift, lethal with one strike, and killing without blinking—such terrifying skills couldn’t have been honed by killing just one or two people.

”I can’t remember.”

After hearing Leng Qingqiu’s question, Lu Yu spoke slowly, in a deep tone, ”All I know is that the shabbiest food in the cells was corn cake, and the best was steak. The more fights you won in a day, the better the food!”

As he spoke, Lu Yu’s voice was low, giving an extraordinarily nonchalant impression.

”In that case”

Upon hearing this, Leng Qingqiu looked at Lu Yu and asked, ”How was the food where you were?”

Now, Leng Qingqiu wanted to assess this by the quality of the food.

”At first, it was corn cakes every day, but corn cakes could only stave off hunger, keeping you from starving.”

For this point, Lu Yu did not hide anything. Looking at Leng Qingqiu beside him, he said flatly, ”Fighting is very physically exhausting, and relying on corn cakes alone couldn’t replenish energy; surviving in combat was difficult!”

Saying this, Lu Yu paused slightly and continued, ”So, to survive, I had to increase the number of fights, eventually going from eating corn cakes every day to eating steak every day!”
